Be very careful when you call for a tow specially after an accident these tows show up and even if you want to take your car home they will be hostile and yell at you to take it to their shop! I was with my 3 boys and MNK TOW and RB both showed up and yelled at me for wanting to take my car home! They even threatened me and took videos of my kids and I. Since I am a AAA member they said they had all my personal information. Refuse service let your insurance know that they will force you to take your car to their lot!!!! Called for a tire change service with MNK Towing. Call was made around 814AM. Estimated time was 45 minutes at the time which I received in a text. I waited an hour until I reached out again to get an update and they told me they were in the city. 2 hours later I call again and this time they won't answer my calls. Then I receive a text saying ETA 15 minutes, they had to help CHP. Now it's 2.5 hours and still nothing. I wouldn't use this company ever again. I understand that things happen and time can be delayed but a simple update or call would've been nice. read more

This towing company was hired by my insurance's roadside assistance to unlock my vehicle. They decided to never show up. I received a text message stating that the service would be taken care of in 45 minutes. No one ever showed up. I attempted to call the company back 5times and received no answer. My car was on for 3 hours waiting to be unlocked and this company has the poorest communication service possible. No one responded to tell me that they would no longer be coming. It is completely unprofessional for the company to not even extend a courtesy call. * RAVE * MNK Towing saved my a*^! Yesterday, on Sunday, 4-26-2020, my 1998 Ford Explorer broke down in Reseda Ca. I was also TOWING a 12' utility trailer filled with fragile antiques that I just picked up from Agoura Hills to transport back to my town, in Tehachapi Ca. (Aprx. 90 miles away) After contacting "HAGERTY Drivers Club," who use ONLY the BEST local tow companies (and is the BEST service out there) they contacted MNK TOWING to assist me. The driver Chris was super polite, kept me informed on his arrival, and showed up within 30 minutes. Now, my situation was a bit different due to the added challenge of the trailer. I was stressed out about leaving my trailer filled with antiques disconnected and left on the side of the freeway, where it could easily get stolen! Chris was extremely understanding and kind. He even called in a co-worker to bring some tools to detach my 2" tow ball so they could ALSO pull the trailer, after loading the Ford onto the flat bed tow truck. The ball would not budge, so Chris went the "extra mile" and sent the co-worker to the nearest auto parts store and PURCHASED a 2" ball JUST TO BE SURE HE COULD GET BOTH UNITS HOME 90 miles away to Tehachapi! (Unfortunately, due to [stupid] Covid-19, we two passengers, were NOT allowed to go with the driver, which is usually standard procedure, and find our own way home, but totally NOT the towing Co.s fault!) My car was stuck on a steep driveway, against a high curb. I put rocks in back of the tires so the car would not roll into a front yard of a house down the street. The steering in my car no longer worked. My insurance carrier first called Anchor towing. Anchor told me "that job is to difficult for us." Then Mercury called MNK towing. I thought it was an impossible job since one towing company said they would not touch it. It took Carolos (from MNK) a while to slowly move my car into to a safe position where it can be hooked up and pulled on to the flat bed. He said he has been towing cars for 17 years and it definitely showed. Carlos (MNK) had to be the most talented tow truck driver I ever saw. read more

My insurance company sent out MNK towing to get my car towed to my body shop. Trusting that these people are professionals and that is why my insurance used them for towing I didn't think of calling the shop to make sure my car arrived. I figured they would call me to let me know once they got a chance. Fast forward 3-4 hours later I get a call from Chris to tell me the address was incorrect so they took my car to their shop. I didn't have any missed calls from the tow truck driver or the dispatcher but he said they both tried calling me. At this point I start feeling uncomfortable with the situation and kind of like I'm being scammed. You lied to me and now you want my business. Not happening, I start to get upset and tell him how I feel about the situation and he starts to yell at me and hangs up the phone. I call the dispatcher in hopes of getting my car back and he is still yelling in the background. My car finally got delivered 5-6 hours later when I live about 20-30 mins away from the shop It was suppose to be delivered to. This man is very unprofessional and rude!! There aren't enough words to describe how awesome this company is. Chris is beyond amazing. We were towing a double trailer with jet skis up the Grapevine when we had engine failure with our SUV. We were on the shoulder of a very dangerous part of the freeway. Once Chris arrived with the tow truck he was able to secure our SUV and trailer in a matter of minutes. Here's the kicker, we live 350 miles away! He towed our vehicle and jet skis with care for nearly 5 hours home (that's not including the 5 hours he had to drive back)!
