This place is great and the people that work here are professionals. I got into a bad accident recently and our normal tow truck guy wasn't answering the phone so I googled the closest towing company and up pops Express Towing. As with any random Google company, I was a bit skeptical at first especially when the gentleman on the phone (Omar I believe his name was) said they'd be at my accident scene in 15 min or less. But sure enough, Ben, our tow-er, drove up within 15 min and handled all the labor. I didn't even have to spend 30 min filling out paperwork like you do with other companies; Ben asked what type of insurance I had, he asked my name and phone number and that was it, my totaled car was no longer my burden to bare. I needed a tow for a few miles to get to the mechanic. This was the first of many places I called and they quoted the lowest price of any other business. They even called me back to see if I found anything else. They showed up within the hour to my car in canoga park to take it up the street to chatsworth. There was some confusion on the price I was quoted and what I ended up paying, but they were quick and efficient. My car konked out on a Sunday afternoon on a street that had a "No Parking Mondays Street Cleaning" sign, so I need to get my car towed by 8:00am the next morning or risk getting a ticket. I called Express Towing to make an appointment for at 7:00am tow, and they pretty much showed up right on time. They were responsive when I had to get a hold of them (even at 7am). I'll give credit to the tow guy who knew that a late model BMW need to use the tow-hook instead of just sticking the cable under the car. I've had this car towed over I cant remember how many times and I dont remember anyone ever using the tow hook. Their prices are the standard going rate around town (I called around). Make sure you get quoted all fees for hook-up, mileage, etc. Ben (owner/operator) was reasonable an professional to deal with. read more

HELP!!!! I give 8700 Reseda Blvd location ONE STAR! I was very dissappointed with this towing company, we broke down about 50 miles from home and the Shell service station said they have an agreement with this towing company because they send business to them. They quoted a flat fee to drive us back to Palmdale, when we arrived, we told the driver we were paying cash, and the price went up from $250.00 to $330.00, we did not get a receipt. When my wife called for a copy of the receipt, BEN claimed he did not have a receipt for $330.00, he said he only had a receipt for $300.00, so he would call us back after he talks to the driver. He didnt call us back so my wife called him and tape recorded the conversation between Ben and myself, because he seemed surprised that we were charged $330.00, and his records did not reflect that amount. Well, I receievd an electronic copy of the receipt that CLEARLY SHOWS IT HAS BEEN ALTERED TO SHOW $330.00. It is our belief that the driver took the extra money and did not show it on the receipt and once we called for a copy, they had to alter it to make it right. IF THERE IS ANYONE ELSE THAT HAS RECIEVED THIS TYPE OF DISHONEST BUSINESS SERVICE, PLEASE REACH OUT TO US, AS WE ARE ASKING FOR OUR $30.00 BACK, NOTIFYING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, AND ARE HOPING TO END THIS TYPE OF UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE. A raining day in the Valley...I called for service they quoted me 20-30 minutes, The driver didnt get there until 90 minutes later, and then he had a bunch of stuff in the cab of the truck so i had to wait outside his truck while he loaded my car,, i was soaking wet thank you very much... then when he was done loading my car, he moved all his stuff over and we got in... and i said thank you for making stand outside in the rain, boy he copped a attitude real quick....bad customer skills...he had a little sassy mouth on him... I got a flat and called based on yelps reviews and their closeness from where i was stranded. Ben came within 15 min or less after I ended the call. I was quite satisfied with their speediness. I didn't ask how much over the phone because I had emergency roadside service coverage from my insurance. I figured they couldn't be more than $75 for towing a couple miles. Turned out it could. I was not sure if there was a listed price or they charged based on how desperately you needed the service. He quoted me about $85 to tow a couple of miles or $100 to change to a spare. I was a bit shocked with the $100 quote to change a tire. No offense, i just thought that even a plumber coming to fix for a couple of hours won't charge me that much...I supposed he saw my hesitation and offered me a discount to $75. That sounded more reasonable since it's also what the insurance was set to pay (at most). He was done with the swap in 10 min or less. Well, it wasn't rocket science. But for $75, I'd probably attempt it myself if I didn't have the coverage. It was overall a fine interaction. Ben was nice. read more
