I was driving down Newport Blv Costa Mesa. Myself & another vehicle hit or ran over a steel ramp that was droped by construction workers.The two passager tires of my moms BENZ popped & I thought its no biggie I called my brother Jr who works at Fletcher Jones to come help me change one of the tires and replace it w/ spare and go get a used tires to replace the other tire unfortunately both my moms Benz rims got bent upon the impact. ; ( we had to tow my moms Benz home. I called A & B TOWING & the driver HENRY GOMEZ a really nice down to earth & honest guy came whith in 5 min.he helped us avoid unnecessary extra expenses. If I could give more than Five Stars I would. My car had veered off a short but very steep embankment of the freeway. Luckily, I was safe and my car appeared unscathed, but the angle that the car was at was contentious in the fact that it could have rolled over. AAA sent over A and B Towing, and they arrived within minutes, and kept me up-to-date frequently. Henry assessed the situation and decided to call back up, John, who arrived with another tow vehicle. They both worked very precisely and diligently, dedicating over an hour's time to carefully extract my vehicle from a potentially dangerous situation - my car could have been totaled. I was very lucky that they both knew what they were doing and didn't try to rush the process. They prioritized safety and care and saved my vehicle. once my car was safely back on the road and sitting upright they checked to make sure it was properly functioning and running. After my car was deemed safe they filled the tires with air, too. If they are able to handle this scary and dangerous situation I would trust them with any other towing or road side assistance needs. I strongly recommend A and B Towing. This was one of the scariest incidents i have had to deal with, related to car concerns, but they were able to clearly communicate their plan of action from beginning to end and successfully save my car. My daughters car had a broken gas gauge and it's today is the first day of the year what a terrible way to start for a car to break down and run out of gas New Year's Day afternoon. First after calling AAA they contacted Hadley towing wanted me to wait for two hours then they contacted a and B towing who projected 45 minutes but ended up taking only 12 or 13 minutes not only did Mohammad show up in 12 to 13 minutes before I could even find my wallet and my ID and cards he already had paperwork filled out gloves on his hands and getting the gas tank out of his service truck to make sure that the car was moved to a safe place that I could get on my way and he couldn't have been more polite and offering help in anyway shape or form he even asked if I wanted him to follow me to the gas station just to make sure there wasn't a fuel leak. I like most people can't stand towing companies but I am grateful for someone like Mohammed who comes in to save the day and does it in record time. A&B Towing was to send 2 flat beds to move two classic cars from an event. I paid for 2 flatbeds, they sent one and put the second car on the lift on the back of the flatbed, the A&B driver cinched the steering wheel down on the 1958 Jaguar so tight they broke the steering wheel. The driver Kevin was apologetic and acknowledge he broke the steering wheel. I have called Victor the manager almost daily since August 28th (18 days) and Victor refuses to return my calls. the damage is almost $1,000.00 dollars. I'm still waiting for the courtesy of a return call. AAA quoted us $180/ flat bed, and A&B charged us $200/car with one tow vehicle. They overcharged us, and damaged our vehicle. We couldn't be more disappointed and would not recommend A&B to anyone. read more

DO NOT REQUEST MICHEAL. Request a different driver if you get Micheal . Absolutely unprofessional. My mother parked her car on the side of the road in red with her hazards on, with enough room for a large truck to get past, also a common spot to park your vehicle if your running inside to grab something. One of their drivers, Micheal who was responding to a call within my apartment complex, pulled up behind my mother and laid on his horn. Keep in mind there was enough room to fit a dually truck through there. My mother moved up a bit and waved him to go past informing him that she was on a important phone call. the driver leaned out the window and yelled "i don't fucking care if your on the phone get out of the way". The driver continued his job and my mother tried to explain she was on the phone with my grandmothers doctor who is in the hospital and his reply was "i don't fucking care who your on the phone with you cant park in red". My mother almost filed a police report as the driver got out of his truck and approached her in a threatening manner while she was photographing his licence plate and driver number. As she was doing this the driver got back in his truck and floored his truck in reverse towards my mother, whom he thankfully did not hit. He then sat outside our apartment watching it for a few minutes before he exited the gate. This type of behavior while operating heavy machinery is absolutely unacceptable. When contacting the tow company to file a report they hung up on my mother and claimed the call "disconnected". When i called to get an explanation the owner said his driver denied everything that happened and said he never said a cuss word to my mother, despite having 4 other people witness his behavior. Totally dishonest, absolutely unprofessional, and a terrible driver representing their company. We have 4 residents in my neighborhood who witnessed this, including the customer requesting the tow. The driver claims he had witnesses as well although the only people who witnessed it mentioned his terrible behavior to us after he left. read more

Henry was awesome! I got a flat tire on the freeway on my way to work and was able to get to work before my tire completely died out. I called AAA and they were able to schedule a tow for me from A&B Towing during my lunch break (I'm a children's fitness teacher and I had to teach my classes). Henry came right on time and was very helpful! He helped me call nearby tire stores to find the right tire I needed. He even helped me figure out the tire size and brand I should get. And when I had questions, he would talk to the tire store employee for me to help me out. He dropped me safely off at the tire store I chose in a timely matter. He was amazing, and AAA was awesome too! Overall great service! read more

Crazy day today. My tire blows out on the freeway and I get stuck on the side of the rode for 3 hours. I called in and waited almost 1 hour and a half for the first guy to come out. He couldn't help me with changing my tire and said he could not tow my car. I was confused and didn't know what was going on. The first guy leaves and tells me that he is going to call another gentlemen with a bigger car so that way they can tow my car to the tire shop.He was not helpful at all and left without letting me know exactly what is going on. 2 hours later, a gentleman named Sam comes and saves the day. I was very upset, and Sam was very understanding and went above and beyond to help me and make sure I'm safe and that my car is getting towed to the shop. He went out of his way to make sure I made it home and was very helpful. I appreciate you Sam and all the hard work that you do. This company is lucky to have a hard working person like yourself . I have had the worst experience with this place. My daughter had my truck in which I tjought was still in the garage because I had 2 busted windows the back and side passenger door and it was taped up. Well anyway to make a long story short I was called around 8:40am on 7/26/19 that my daughter was sleeping in the vehicle parked in a shopping plaza on Griffin Rd and the police brought her to the hospital. I was asked to come pick her up shes okay but was drinking. I went to hospital and ask where vehicle was so my son can drive home and proceeded there and it was towed. I dont know why because it was parked in an open shopping plaza and driveable no accident. I had to call police department they have no idea why it was towed but gave me the company they use which is A and B towing. I called them it was same day around 11am car could only be there a couple of hours. They gave me address and I went there. I talked with a nice gentleman who took me to the vehicle and I explained everything to him and he seemed sympathetic to what I have been through but when I asked why tow it if it was parked legally and driveable but he stated police tell to to do something they do it. We get to office he said the price of vehicle $347 and I was like right around the corner. I was looking at a price but usually a tow of $65 or so. I refused to pay because they are gouging prices he thought it was in an accident so said the guy had trouble getting thats why price was high. I told him no accident these windows were already out but price stays the same. I will call State Attorneys office because if they are working with the city they have to have logs of every towing and prices which states why this price. I will not be cheated upon. I had one car tow closed and 2 car lot companies as well from illegal activity from altering mileage and wrong car reports, no book log and using own prices and driving people car around getting tickets. I will and trust me Karma is always lurking. The bad and dishonest will not win!!!! Iam also going under BBB, Consumer Affairs and so on... read more

Wow. Excellent service!! I unfortunately locked my keys in my car while on a shopping trip. My instant thought was oh no, I just put i huge dent in my day. I called triple AAA. They advised me help would be out within 15-30min. They let me know the driver might call to check in. I received a courtesy call from a friendly gentlemen by the name of Henry Gomez within minutes to kindly confirm my location. Then about 5 minutes later I received another friendly courtesy call from him letting me know he was there..and there he was! Waving nicely, jumped out of his service truck, "shook my hand" and promptly/efficiently popped open my car door and disabled the alarm in what seemed like seconds...wow amazing customer service-the kind you remember, five stars! He had me sign the papers needed, all with a smile on his face and even offered me a water on a hot muggy day. I was actually in my car, and on the go in about 10 minutes flat!! Wow friendly, prompt, efficient service..I am so impressed and grateful! I hope every time I am in this situation there is another Henry Gomez with A and B towing responding to the call. He is top notch and you can tell he really takes pride in his job and providing exceptional, friendly customer service. I have used AAA a handful of times and I've always had great service but today was exceptional. I had two flat tires and AAA sent out a crane style tow truck rather than the typical flat bed. In either case, Tito, the tow truck driver who was dispatched was able to help and even though it look more work than it would have with a flat bed, he had a great attitude and had a positive demeanor. He made great conversation the entire time and to honest, I was dreading the whole situation beforehand but he made the experience pleasant and made it go by quickly. I recommend A and B Towing. The person I was working with was named Ben. He quoted me a time for pick up and managed to arrive a couple minutes earlier. He also called me when he was 20 minutes away. I was parked in a small parking lot that wasn't easy to find or give directions to but he found me anyway. He was friendly but professional. The rates were reasonable.
