Insurance told me I needed a leak detection auto shutoff valve installed if I wanted to keep my coverage. They offered a discount rate to send one of their guys. I wan't sure who they would send - and I only trust one company with my plumbing. So I immediately called A&G. What great service I received from A&G Plumbing. I am a realtor and my client asked for a sewer inspection prior to removing contingencies. A&G (Amy) got right back to me and scheduled a technician that day! He arrived on time and was prepared for the inspection. Luis was soft spoken, explained everything to me and my client, was very knowledgeable, conducted the inspection and even removed a "foreign object" from the sewer line. He was not in a hurry; Luis took his time and covered/inspected all the sewer lines (tees) that he could. He was very honest and hard working. Called A&G since the plumber that AHS (home warranty) sent did not fix my dual sink clog and only wanted to up sell us on busting out a wall behind the sink and redo the plumbing. See my review of that company for details. A&G came out and while it took some effort and a call for another plumber to help out, they fixed clog and then scoped it (did not charge me) to make sure it was completely clear. I had them fix the p-traps and the plungers on both sinks, since whomever did the original did a crappy job. Worth the extra couple of bucks. The plumber completely cleaned up and you would have never known he was there. Just awesome. Less than a week later, our main sewer line plugged since our 75 foot tree in the front yard likes to snake its roots in there every couple of years. They sent out the same plumber, Luis, within an hour of calling and he cleared it out. We spoke about options to fix the line and will keep those in mind. Luis did not push any of the options on me or try to hype up the issue. I did speak with several different people at A&G to schedule and get timing updates, I believe they were Anna and Amy. Both were just great and I wanted to make sure I included their customer service as part of my review. 5 stars to all I dealt with at A&G. They are my go-to plumber for now on. read more

Do not use this company. They quoted me a price to complete a plumbing job in my home, and when I received the bill the amount was TRIPLE what they quoted me. Of course, they now deny this. In addition, one year ago we needed the identical repair of a different toilet in our home, which was completed by a different plumbing company. That invoice was $500 LESS for the exact same work. I will tell you about the experience we had with A & G: In summary, instead of having the knowledge or experience of realizing a valve was broken shut, they decided to replace a circulating pump with commercial grade intended for a 100+ units (we have only 26). In the course of a few years, this has led to 6 slab leaks and over a handful of pinhole leaks in our community. I am not sure if the company was just negligent, lazy or inexperienced (or all of the above) but they are lucky we are not suing them for this. You can see how the piping has been wearing thin from all the friction the larger pump was creating. A more experienced plumbing company came in and took the time to solve the real issue. Several plumbers also cautioned us about the larger pump as well. read more

The office was helpful and their billing systems was easy. I also recommend them to another Realtor to help with a bid for a home that I was selling. I recently had a water leak that increased my water bill to over $200 a month or more. It was in the wall some where between the kitchen and the back bathroom. The Santa Marguerite water came out to see me about my water bill and the possibility of a leak. So I called A & G Plumbing to see if they could help me solve my problem. They were great, they came over with leak detection equipment and they determine where the leak was in a short period of time. They explained to me that they had to reroute the water pipes through the attic in order to bypass the pipe that was leaking underground. A & G was incredible they found the leak and rerouted the pips in a short period of time. They were incredible and very professional, I am so glad I called them. read more
