Mike was super helpful efficient and overall outstanding they really have quality care about their customers and have helped me and my family with our cars over the past 15 years. AutoZone in Redlands scanned and stated my battery was good and claimed it was a charging system fail error and that's what needed to be changed. I went to A&H and they did a full assessment checking both the battery and alternator system and declared it was a low battery. However AutoZone didn't wanna change it if it passed their test although it was under warranty. Mike helped write up an invoice for evidence about his recommendation for a new battery and even suggested he can replace the battery for us for a free trial week to cancel the middle man warranty with AutoZone. With his help I was able to get a new battery with AutoZone. read more

A&H felt like a good local honda and acura specialist repair shop. I came in to get estimates/second opinion on a few things recommended by the other honda specialist in Redlands. Paul took the car and discussed the things I wanted checked, and talked to me on the phone a few times-- I always felt like he was honest and talked about the repairs at my level. The prices were in line with the other independent honda specialists in the area, and of course less than the dealership. I ended up only getting one service done by A&H - some repair work/welding to fix a crack in my exhaust system that was causing exhaust to leak into the car and make a rattling sound whenever I accelerate. The repair work fixed those issues, and I paid the same price that was quoted, even though they needed a few extra parts to finish the job (bolts were rusted through). A & H is the best auto repair shop I have ever used! All of the staff that I have interacted with are very knowledgeable, helpful, and seem trustworthy-NOT like other places where feel like are just trying to make money off of you. They give you the facts and prices but don't try to push you into doing anything. I just found them a little over a year ago and between my husbands and my Honda's we have used them multiple times and have been very happy with them. I can't say enough good things about A & H. They are the only guys in the area that I'll take my Hondas to. When I first moved to Redlands I didn't know where to take my delsol, so I just went with a friend's recomendation, and then I had problems. My car was overheating and I was told by the first shop to replace the thermostat. 2 days later it was overheating again, so I took it to Reid's Honda Specialist and they told me it was a fan relay that needed to be replaced, but it started overheating immediately after driving out of Reid's. So then I went to Google and found A & H. I told one of the guys that I was ready to replace the entire coolant system and left it with them. A half hour later I got a call telling me my car was ready. A & H were the only ones that figured out what the problem was, a busted seal on the radiator cap. The 2 other shops charged me for coolant, so they should have seen it, but A & H were the only ones that were competent and honest. Instead of taking advantage of me they charged me $25 for the new cap and they got my business for as long as they stay open. I now live 25 miles away, but I still take my cars to A & H because of the quality of service I know I and my cars will receive. read more

Took my van to A and H for the first time. Both guys were friendly, they got the work done quickly (same day service for a lot of stuff that had to be done), and only charged me half of what the dealership had quoted. The van is running like a new car, and the van finally stops without me having to fight the steering wheel for the first time in years, a problem that the dealer couldn't fix (even after charging more!). I took my car there several times and was happy at first but then had two very bad experiences. Both owners were very rude and unprofessional when questioned about the quality of work and the cost of a part. I don't mind paying more money for exceptional service, but I have a big problem when service professionals are disrespectful. I work in public relations and A&H failed miserably at that. I've been taking my 2006 TL and my daughter's 2002 Civic to A&H for several years, always excellent service and no "build-a sale" add-on's. If you think or if you've been told that you need something done, they will advise you if it isn't actually needed. My 2006 TL hit 105,000 miles so I took it in for a timing belt and water pump replacement, new belt tensioner, new spark plugs, coolant replacement, valve adjustment- all based upon recommendations in the owners manual and stuff found on the internet. A potentially expensive shop visit. The manual is vague or lacking info on some service intervals. A&H said the belt tensioner will last thru two belts, and the valves need adjustment only if they're noisy- recommended against spending the money on those items at this time- that saved a bundle. When they pulled a front wheel off to access a part of the engine to remove the belt, they found that the front brake pads (Brembo brakes, a factory option) were worn nearly to the wear indicator. They called me immediately for permission to change out the pads, and actually had a set of Brembo pads on hand- these are rare brakes on Acura's. Great service. read more
