This is my initial rating, based on one limited experience. It could change. First, don't order on-line- call or go to the restaurant. The on-line prices are inflated well above the fees charged by the actual restaurant. Ridiculously inflated! Once I realized this, I skipped the 'entrepreneurs' who set up on-line ordering services and the delivery services that mark up prices, then have the gall to also charge for delivery. They are not connected to the restaurant. As for the food, so far, so good. As I try more items, I'll expand my recommendations. read more

Good service, made fresh, amazing portions! The only thing that challenged me was that, when dining in, my american nostrils noticed a bad smell that reminded me of sewage. But it's not a plumbing problem, ... apparently that pungent smell is just of one of the ingredients in korean stew! read more

I love coming to this restaurant! I never order any American food. Only Korean! The Bulgoki is amazing! I have tried it at other places but only love it here. The owner is super sweet! I feel bad that it is almost empty every time I go because the food is so delicious! My friend always gets the stone hotpot Bibimbap. I usually grab a bite off of her bibimbap and my mouth instantly waters! I want to try the omurice but I can't pass up the bulgoki! If you have never eaten here, try it at least once! read more

DLW and I were travelling through Columbus during the Thanksgiving holiday, and wanted some lunch. A Yelp search revealed this place a couple of miles from I-70, and we are both big fans of Korean food. It could hardly be less assuming from the exterior. Tucked into a strip mall next to a dry cleaner, It doesn't scream great. Inside it's more like a neighborhood hangout, with about 50 seats and a small bar along the back wall. The menu is calculated to appeal broadly, with diner fare like burgers and breakfast items alongside the seafood pancake and tofu stew. Since it was chilly, DLW wanted soup, and dukmandu guk is one of her all-time faves, with chewy rice noodles and juicy dumplings in a clear, light beef broth. Bulgogi is my go-to in Korean places, and I enjoyed this one. We even got seven banchan dishes, very nice for a no-frills lunch place. One odd thing is that they serve RC products rather than Coke or Pepsi. Diet Rite cola is something I hadn't seen in a long time, and when you're used to the others, it is a little jarring. According to the history account, the owner is a Korean immigrant who worked in restaurants for years before opening her own. She obviously learned a few things. The other customers were mostly regulars who were greeted warmly, but we got the same fine service. Now we wish there was a place like this in our neighborhood. read more

I'm half korean and unfortunately my mom lives in Oklahoma so very rarely do I get to eat her amazing home cooked meals so when I am really wanting some korean food I come here ! I was looking for somewhere new to try and I gotta say this was great!!! My son loved the chicken fried rice and I tried I.T too very very good! I had the bibimbap bowl with chicken and I.T came in the stone bowl which kept I.T piping hot the entire time we also received A sampler of different Korean dishes like kimchi and pickled cucumber macaroni salad cole slaw and bean sprouts and other things that was just as tasty as the rest! The first we went my daughter wanted to get the Spicy Ramyun in addition to the Hot Stonepot Bi-Bim Bap. It would have been too much food. She enjoyed it coming out in a sizzling hot pot. It was delicious. She went for the Korean food and I chose American. For appetizers I had the sausage & sauerkraut balls. They came out hot and tasted very good. The leftovers even tasted better after they chilled. The potstickers were ok. I had the Country Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and cream gravy. The mashed potatoes were a little soft (maybe the water wasn't drained enough). It was ok. We came back two days later and brought my Mom. She had the Fish & Chips. It was very tasty. Appetizers this time was the spring roll (very good) and the combo platter with potato skins, chicken tenders(very good) and mozzarella sticks. My daughter had the Seafood Suntofu Jige which came out bubbling hot. She enjoyed it. I had the Beef Bulgoki it was a little too sweet for my taste but my Mom and daughter liked it. Of the sides that come with it I like the cubed turnips the best. We shall be back again, I want to try one of their burgers. Had the Country Morning breakfast platter. More than enough food for two people. I had one of each breakfast meat and added onions to the potatoes for .50 more. Suggestion: offer half portions like for $5 read more

My wife and I eat in and order food here to go all the time because they are very close to us. Don't be fooled by the name of this restaurant. They are a bar and serve good wings. But they actually serve authentic Korean food. My wife loves their Korean noodle dish while I love their bibimbap especially when served in stone bowl. We had their wings too and it may not be the best but they are good nonetheless. As for the burgers, that we have not tried. The owner is a nice Korean lady and she's the one cooking. When they first opened here upon moving from their original location in Pataskala, they have a Korean male cook and I have to say I liked his cooking more but the owner also cooks well. As the other places I've been to, what matters most is the taste of food and good service and that's enough reason for me to go back. read more

I've always seen this place on Hill Road, but didn't think much about it since I don't normally stop for wings or burgers. Some friends of ours said they have a wonderful breakfast, but still haven't tried it. Some people on an Ohio Road Trips group mentioned this place had awesome Korean food...THAT really got my attention! We were warmly greeted today and was offered a nice sampling of their kimchee and some other delicious sides. I ordered the fried potstickers (YUM) and the sizzling rice pot. Seriously. A burger place selling Korean food in the middle of Pickerington? If you had told me, I would have scoffed. And admitted, I did scoff, a few years ago. But since I'm in Asian food deprivation I decided to try it the other day. This is not high end Korean food, this is comfort Korean food. Yes, I could have made it at home, but my son is allergic to sesame, so we don't cook Korean at home. So now I can get it at a restaurant on the East side. Amazing. Quite a pleasant surprise. Co-worker who is of Korean descent tried the menu and was amazed -- "just like mama used to make". Apparently, the owner even reminds her of her mother. I really enjoyed this place. I've tried the hot stone bibimbap and the soon tofu soup (mushroom and beef) on a couple different occasions and both were good. My dad had the Reuben which he liked as well. It's nice because they have a lot of Korean and non-Korean food, so there's a dish for everyone! I have a problem, a family of finicky eaters, and me... who would eat about anything. I'm adventurous, like different things, and enjoy a culinary adventure. This place has solved my problems. I can get some amazing Korean food, try things i've never had or heard of, while my family can have some of the staple basics that they love. From simple burgers (and killer good tater tots) to Korean BBQ, they have something to satisfy anyone. Give them a try, I'm so glad i did, and I wish i'd come in sooner!!! Clean, friendly, good value, delicious(in a nutshell). Why am I always here in the winter? There is no wind break on the front door, so we cringe every time it's opened. We had the Korean menu again. It was good to us, but IS the only place we've had it. Trust the authenticity from someone who eats it everywhere. We always get the Bulgoki, and usually a daily special. Their unbelievable menu item is the Wingburger. Bacon cheeseburger with boneless wings on it. The Wingburger Challenge is about triple each ingredient with fries, that needs a second top bun in 30minutes. Only 2 photos on the wall of those that succeeded. See my tip for the sampler. My husband and kids have been coming here since they opened. We're always treated like family. Yong Mi's Korean food is some of the best I've had and I actually get cravings for it! Hot stone pot Bi Bim Bop, Japchae, with all the Korean sides are incredible. American items are delicious too. I love A & J Wingburger. I dine there two to three times a week. It is a great family environment and you always feel welcome. The food is outstanding and I've sampled both the Korean and American cuisine and neither disappoints. My personal favorite is the wings and the veggie omelette for breakfast. My two granddaughters love the Mac and cheese and the breakfast Kid's meal. I always look forward to a friendly greeting from what I call the A&J family whenever I stop in. The Korean food was great and the service was just as great. I have drove by the restaurant numerous times but I didn't realize they served Korean and American food until I looked on Yelp. My husband and I got to try something different from our norm and the kids were still happy since they had a traditional kids menu. Their chicken tenders weren't the usual fried Tyson tenders that most restaurants serve the kids; they were hand battered and delicious. They also had healthy sides for them to choose from and not just the standard fries. She brought plates of samples out with some hot sauce and nice to know other stuff we like for next time. It's hard to find places with good food and service so this place will def be on the list of options when we go out to eat. read more
