First time here and ready to go back! The service was great and my food amazing. I ordered a huge bowl of soup which had everything but the kitchen sink in it. Items such as huge potstickers, Lee-chi, bogie, carrots, rice noodles to name a few! It was very hot temperature wise. My friend had the Ruben with tater tots and really enjoyed it.

    Mambo Rolls were great. (08/10/2024)

For the quality, flavors, and rather simple yet diverse menu, I'm definitely updating my previous review and uping my star count to five. Family owned and operated the wife runs the front of house; pleasant lady. The menu here will appease a generally wide variety of tastebuds, having some of your more American fare for the less adventurous. There's also a section for breakfast and lunch items. On the north wall is several chalk boards showing the daily food and drink specials. But A&J's also offers several Korean dishes. I wasn't very hungry, so I decide to try their Mambo Roll, and it was rolled fresh and deep fried, so came out hot; the egg roll wrap did not have a foul aftertaste of oil. It was the perfect size to save half for a leftover meal. I would definitely ask if extra crumbled pork could be added (always game for more protein), but it was very good nonetheless. I'm a big fan of cabbage, it tasted good. And the rice noodles are very thin and not overwhelming. I did get a chance to try a bite of the veggies that come in the squid stir-fry, and the flavors were pretty great. The brown sauce was not overly fishy and complemented the veggies. There were several tasty bonchons that can with this dish. Personal favs: pickled daikon, a rendition of macaroni salad, pickled cucumbers, and the garlic bokchoy. I could go for those sides together as a meal any day. I'm glad I gave A&J a third try - this experience really stuck and I'm looking forward to try more of the Korean offerings. Everything came out hot and fresh; I'd be glad to patronize and spend my money here knowing it's going directly back into use.

Loved it! Didn't know Pickerington would have such authentic Korean food. What really shocked us was that they had a full bar with various drinks. We stayed there for about one and half hours and saw a lot of families came to have dinner. It was very family oriented too. When we are in the Pickerington area next time we will definitely go back to here again.

My girlfriend didn't think it was terrible and it looked nice on the inside so I gave it 2 stars. Food was not good in my opinion, their menu is obviously too big. I did not finish my food, I only ate because I was hungry. The eggrolls I had high hopes for but they were a greasy mess that fell apart and were cold inside. Also egg rolls are supposed to be rolls and not burritos.... I didn't even take pictures of the rest of the food after I tried the eggrolls

Very very good food and very good service. Would highly recommend. Definitely going back soon.

Located in a plaza and serves both Korean & American food. The only place I can find Chopchae south of Columbus. Friendly service and I received a good portion of food. Restaurant is kind of small and parking available directly in front of Restaurant.

While the namesake wingburger tasted very good it also stirred a feeling of guilt within at how RICH and gluttonous it was. In my mind I just knew it had well over 1,000 calories. And fat as I am, I just couldn't clear my conscience enough to finish it. I felt like a pig at the slop bucket. So I threw it out after eating less than half of it. Do I penalize the business for selling something so fattening? Only if I weren't fully aware of how rich the burger indeed was, right? I guess I knew it had hundreds of calories, but thousands? It honestly didn't dawn on me. So, taste: 4 stars, as a meal: 3 stars. The fries, on the other hand, were five star delicious. Yum! As for service, I honestly don't think the elderly Asian woman (who was there all alone) appreciated me being there. It was evidentiary when, after talking with me, her face lit up when she took the order of a family who came in after me. The restaurant itself could use a serious cleaning of it's front façade. I don't know why so many Asian restaurants are content to let their windows look an opaque, smudgy, and dark as they are but if I didn't know better, I would think they went out of business long ago. Inside was comfortable though.

This would have been a perfect "compromise" dining option for my husband, the original "Mr. Meat and Potatoes" and I to enjoy together. He would have loved their variety of tempting burgers, soups, sandwiches, chicken tenders, quesadillas, fish and chips, and what appears to be pretty extensive drink options. I zoomed straight to the Korean side of their menu, and as usual, wanted to try one of EVERYTHING. I finally decided on two things I hadn't tried before, duk bok gi for an appetizer (rice cakes and veggies in a DELICIOUS spicy sauce) and japchae noodles for an entree. MORE than enough food, especially with the added banchan small plates, which were interesting, but not the best I've had... Leftover coleslaw and macaroni salad?!? Hmmmm!! No biggie!! Great service, reasonable prices, and DEFINITELY something for everyone at this cozy, unassuming hidden gem!! I left full, satisfied, with PLENTY of leftovers for the next day. Will be back, next time I'm in the area!!

The Korean Food was flavorful with perfect size portions. The service was excellent and very friendly. A small and simple restaurant but clean with a good selection of beer, wine and alcoholic beverages.

The best fried rice I've ever had! The menu is huge with both American and Korean food. The Korean food is excellent, totally worth a try even if you're new to it. They're quick and very friendly. I always get the food to-go, but there are plenty of tables and booths inside.

This place had very clean carpet flooring, plus restrooms were very clean as well. This place had a family feel to it, almost like home. The service was great, even had a server that had a trainee that was training at our table. This is an example of a place that cares about a good curriculum of hands on training. Very good customer service. Even had the manager come check in on us and took our to go order for us. So service an A+. Food was great, burger that I ordered came just how I like, was a plain burger. No fanciness to it, no steak knife jammed in the middle, no 6" tall mound, just a plain, good ol' fashion backyard burger. Yum! Wings were cooked great, seasoned with a hot nashville rub. Chicken tenders were plump, and hearty for something so simple off the menu. My son enjoyed them. The fish n chips came out with 2 huge filets of battered fish. My wife had to take the rest home. All in all, not a bad spot to stop and enjoy good food. Not loud at all like most bar n grills. Place almost had an 80's family feel to it. I think the carpeted floors played a part in that nostalgic feel for me. I need to bring my folks here next time they are in town. Will definitely be returning soon.

Then we waited for 20 minutes. We didn't even get menus. Two tables were seated after us and were already ordering when we decided to give up and try another place. I don't like assuming people are prejudiced. I want to believe our server just happened to overlook the one table of brown people because they're a teenage girl going through a hard time. So that's what I choose to believe. I just hope the place shapes up, because someone else might not have taken it as well as we did. On the bright side, the staff seemed friendly (when we left, two servers near the entrance told us to have a nice day) and the dishes at the tables around us looked really good. I hope to come back and successfully try that chicken noodle soup someday
