This ginger monster struck our appetite again so we found our way back to Hibachi Express. Although the restaurant was empty there were a dozen carryout orders lined up at the grill. As always, our order was taken with a smile and an accurate wait time (quoted 20 minutes and it was ready in 15). Beverage selection was limited to 12oz cans of Coke, Diet Coke, Dr Pepper, Canada Dry ginger ale and 16.9oz bottles of water. Two orders of chicken and shrimp ($13.99 each) with an extra side of ginger sauce ($1.00 each) and we were on our way. Pretty tasty food for the average hibachi take-out price.

I was really excited to try my first hibachi meal which didn't include singed eyebrows and leaving smelling like a restaurant. I wasn't disappointed! I was just a little bit surprised. When you read "express" you think instant. It took about 15 mins. I wish they had an option to order online. Maybe we've just become brainwashed by super fast food. The food was really good! I got steak and shrimp. Both proteins were cooked perfectly and were clearly of good quality. My 2 gripes are that they were out of egg yolk sauce ( my fave!! ) and the food definitely tasted of dirty grill. Such a small detail, but it stuck out to me. It certainly didn't ruin the experience, but there is some room for improvement. I will be back for round 2!

I cannot speak highly enough of this place!! I no longer live in the area, but I still make the 25 minute drive whenever I'm in the mood for hibachi, because no other place compares! After I picked up my food today I had some car trouble in the parking lot. Two of the employees saw me struggling and came outside and fixed my bumper for me in the middle of the parking lot!! Huge portions, amazing food, even more amazing employees!! I love this place!!

First time eating at this place! I'm a sucker for hibachi and I'm always open to a fast-food version. Let me get the one negative out of the way, the wait for the food itself was a little long. However, the service is great - super friendly and helpful. The prices are fair for hibachi. And the food was worth the wait. SO. MUCH. FOOD. The portions were huge! Presentation was great, taste was on point. The cashier even threw some extra yum yum in for me. We will definitely be back.

The food is mediocre. Nothing like the real Japanese steakhouses unfortunately. It wasn't necessarily "bad" but it was great either. The entrees tasted good and were decently portioned but the spring rolls and eggs rolls were awful. There isn't much I don't eat and I did not eat those, they were bad. The yum yum wasn't great either. We paid $38 for this and honestly it wasn't worth it. I was hoping I would like this but I didn't sadly.

Great service. The food was subpar but this may have been because we ordered close to closing (9pm). Would not come again.

Great food. They rely a little too much on the yum-yum sauce. FYI, your food doesn't need it.

I love the concept of meatless Monday bowls being $2-$4 less than the average bowl. This will make me want to visit more often on Mondays. However, with some of their new offerings in general, I think I would like to frequent more often. Some of these include these curry chickpeas, which were delicious, the citrus kale, brussels sprouts, some Korean fried chicken that does not seem to be available most of the time , the yellow rice, which was really nice and soft, the salmon, fried eggs, and I'm sure I'm still missing one or two. I'm always a fan of how you can get some free miso soup with every visit, but this time I could not find a single piece of tofu. This store is always nice and clean and you get speedy service. On this visit, I had a free cookie on the app and I will say for not being a sweets person, their chocolate chip cookie was pretty yummy. Everything there is gluten-free, even though that is not a dietary restriction that I have, but it's nice to know that people can eat there without worries ofcross contamination. I've heard people complain that this is not real Korean food, but anybody who goes here and expects it to be, doesn't know the first thing about finding quality ethnic food in Columbus... You are not going to BIBIBOP for that, you are going there for quality, healthy food that you can adjust your liking, Chipotle style.

I decided on a cup with purple rice and chicken with a few other toppings and yum yum sauce . I am glad that I got the cup portion, as it was enough for one person without filling stuffed. I have to say that I was not crazy about this food. If not for the yum yum sauce, everything was bland. None of the hot options were hot nor warm. The chicken has no flavor and looked somewhat dry. I may give Bibibop another try, but maybe at another location. I guess I should have known the food would not be that great, as almost every time I passed by, I rarely saw any customers.

You know how it is most of the time you walking into the Chinese restaurant, the front host or server always sounded like they want to fight you. lol Not being raciest, you know is true Anyway, I like how they have two menus, one is the American Chinese version, and the other one is the Chinese, Chinese version. Of course I'm going for the Chinese version, I ordered the 3 cups chicken, this is actually a very popular dish in the Asian countries, easy to make too. The portion is big, I ate 2 bowls of white rice, is good, I give it 6 out of 10 Even tho this is the Chinese, Chinese dish, but it was too sweet, the cook put too much sugar in it, also the chicken don't have bones in it, in my opinion is still making it as Chinese dish but American way, I guess American don't like Chicken with bones in it? Well...KFC chicken have bones in it. lol White people know how to spilt out the chicken bones! Make it as the traditional 3 cups chicken Overall, 4 stars

And my review is partly skewed toward that crab Rangoon, though I had a really good experience all in all. In a strip out front of Meijer, easy access and parking. Opens at 11 but they were open a bit before that today, which was nice. Super friendly and efficient service the whole way through. Dark inside but not gloomy; cozy. Lots on the menu, and I had a hard time deciding. Went with the Rangoon, of course, and a lunch special: 3 sushi rolls. That comes with soup or salad, and I had the miso soup, pretty darn good and with more tofu and seaweed than most. The crab Rangoon came out next and: oh my. Perfectly wrapped little packages of goodness. Beautifully plated, nicely made, and filled with cheese and a good amount of crab. Tasty, nice texture contrast between the filling and the thin crunchy shell, and served with a slightly-spicy homemade (I am guessing) sauce. Then the sushi trio. Again beautifully plated. I got eel and avocado, spicy tuna, and kani. The kani was my favorite, then the eel, then tuna. Best sushi around? Nah. But pretty good, and a really good deal. Fair sized rolls. Nicely made. The eel was tender and flavorful. The kani was good. Spicy tuna was just okay. I'll be back, for Rangoon and probably entrees. Out of my way, but glad I came today. Enjoyed the whole visit.

I was pleased with Mark K and my first visit. It's in a small strip mall, but It's a lot nicer than what you would normally expect to find.. Mark got: Southern Style Egg Rolls - Very Tex-Mex. Good, filling, and not too spicy. Beef Pad Thai - Decent, but not mind-blowing. Could use more scrambled eggs and bean sprouts. I got: Hot And Sour Soup - Quite good with a nice smokey flavor. General Tso's Chicken - It's as good as it gets, folks, meaning it's a rival to my favorite at China Bell in Grove City. The sauce is excellent! The chunks of white chicken meat are just lightly breaded enough to hold the sauce but not overpower the dish. I'd say it's a 95% chicken to 5% breading ratio. And they still serve it with broccoli. Outstanding! I'd go back again to do some more exploring in a heartbeat. Like I said, 5 stars.
