I am updating and editing the review since I can not delete the previous review: Owner Rami was very nice and provided a full refund and showed responsibility for business. I appreciate that he took the time to make things right. Avoid this place period. The service is unprofessional and they don't care about their clients. During the shave, the barber here cut me with his blade. Did not want to take accountability and implied that maybe I had " a previous scar" (which I don't) that caused this instead of taking responsibility. I believe some of the barbers in this establishment lack the training and experience to handle a blade properly. To add insult to injury they requested full payment for this service at the end which I had to incur. Appalling service and character from this establishment. read more

I was on a lunch break and needed a haircut. I called into A&R and they said they could take a walk in. I showed up and they immediately put me in a chair. Joe was my barber and was was so impressed with everything he did. A great fade, into a great cut, wit a perfect hardline comb over. I ended up getting my beard trimmed and lined up too. I usually don't leave reviews; however, when things are that good I have to. My barber was Ghassan Badwan and what a professional. I walked in not knowing him but my usual guy was working on someone else so I said here we go... this guy is next level. He used every tool in his belt. Razors, wax, tweezers, and my favorite part, he used scissors!! I feel like most barbers these days just take the easy route of a razor with a comb. He said he's been doing it for over 40 years. My 2nd haircut done at A&R with Ahmad Said. I had been with my barber in San Diego for more than 10 years, I thought my barber knew my hair and beard and he's the only one I trusted with them since I have long hair and not many barbers know how to cut it properly. One time I was in Anaheim for a wedding and needed a haircut, I came across this spot and met Ahmad. He was very friendly and welcoming. I asked for a skin fade while cutting my hair evenly for a man bun style. As he started cutting my hair, he cut one section at a time dividing my hair into 20+ sections which was very different from my previous barber. As he was going through my hair, I started noticing how my hair was super uneven before which made me happy with his expertise and upset at my old barber at the same time! That's when I got curious and asked Ahmad where he learned his methods and got his experience. To my surprise finding out that he has 15 plus years of experience, his first 5 years in Belgium and the rest in Canada.
