I first crossed paths with Dr. Hanna on New Years day when I cracked a tooth and needed urgent dental work. Although I had interrupted the staffs holiday weekend, I was treated courteously and professionally. Within a couple of hours of calling my appointment was underway. For the longest time I had an extreme phobia of the dentist and after a couple of appointments with Dr. Hanna these fears slipped away. She guaranteed me that if I was unhappy with the fit or the look of my bridge , that she would redo it until I was happy, the first one broke in the first month, she replaced it with a ridiculous bridge that cuts into my natural bite, and I am in constant pain and my jaw now cracks whenever I move it to eat. The bridge has never seated right and when I went to have it replaced she said I void my guarantee by not coming in every 6 months but when I did go she wouldn't help me then COVID-19 she never finished the work she put in my file but charged me for the entire plan, which included both sides upper , she promised she would replace it as many times as necessary if I was unhappy, well, not only am I unhappy, she is messing up my ability to eat properly because it's painful and loose! She also told me last visit "well it must be functional cuz you're not losing weight!!!" Maybe I'm gaining weight because my diet is crap now because my teeth are weak and my bite is painful you crook!!! How dare she pretend to be a professional!! Isn't there an ethics code in dentistry?? She is a Liar and will tell you what she needs to tell you to run up your credit for as much as she can then they say they'll call the police when I get on the phone to have my bf coming to speak for me, because I didn't want to flip out by her unprofessionalism and negligence and bad chairside manners!! I wanted someone who wasn't as injured by this bad dental work ,suffering daily ,to have the patience enough to actually have an adult conversation!!! Had to have everything redone , unfortunately due to horrible "work" , all my bottom teeth shifted. Don't fall for the "sweetheart " act they put on in the beginning! Once that Care Credit is approved and they've run your card , all they care about is having something down on paper to bill you for . my experience at this office began in 2007 and it led to a to a cascade of negative of negative events that ruined my mouth, my health, and my finances. I originally showed up because of pain and was examined and given nitrous oxide because I was nervous and scared and hurting. doctor Hannah was out of the country at this time and I do not remember what dentist was there examining me but I was told I needed a root canal. I was in the chair, crying ( from the pain & fear ) with the nitrous oxide mask on when the girl from the front desk came to tell me my insurance would not pay for all of what I needed. She then told me I should apply for Care Credit to cover what my insurance didn't. I said I did not want to go that route but she pressured me into it. I was not in agreement but like I said , was in pain , crying & on nitrous. Still with the mask on she had me sign to apply-it approved me after I was told what the initial benefit would be (no interest ) *turns out whatever was promised to me regarding no or low interest fees, was only for the first X amount of $$. ** it ended up becoming a very large amount of money which I ended up defaulting on b/c I could not afford the minimum down payment anymore. Because the dentists kept adding more procedures; that's another story. Now the worst part physically , is he TRIED to do the root canal that day. He could not complete it ! I was told my roots were calcified. So they made me another appointment to finish the root canal ! Now, have you ever heard of multiple visits to a dentist for one root canal ? Because that is what happened to me; I don't recall how many visits it took for them to finally complete the procedure (too many years ago now) But it was Very traumatizing every single time. Like I said Doctor Hannah was not present for most of this. the stuff had rap music blaring they were active were acting like they were at a party It was pretty wild... I found out I liked the nitrous oxide and it the only thing keeping me halfway dealing with the pain. during one of the visits though they had the nitrous mask on me but I was still feeling all the nerves in the pain and I looked at the machine gage and saw and saw that it said zero So I asked the girl what did that mean And she admitted they were out of nitrous oxide. So basically they put the mask on me and turned on oxygen to make me think I was getting it. the staff did so many things to me that were unscrupulous like this including pressuring me to sign up for a credit card I knew I couldn't afford to sign for while under the influence of nitrous oxide in the first place period ! consumer Reports did a study about doctors and dentists do very thing being of how unethical it is for a medical provider to financially benefit from getting patients to get credit cards. To sum it up after my many ordeals there- when they made the crown for me, it did not fit right. There was an area exposed along my gum line ....When I complained that it did not seem right they agreed to make another crown.. They called and told me it was ready ; gave me an appt. to have it put it to replace the ill fitting crown. BUT when I showed up to my appt. to have it put it, the girl looked at, showed it to me and then for whatever reason, that I will never know--said to me "let's just leave the original one in & see how it goes". To this day , the original is still in my mouth. I was never given any good reason why they made me one to replace this, had me show up but NOT put it in.. The gumline is not matched up/lined up correctly so for 16 YEARS now, it collects food etc, has a horrible odor and I ended up with financial problems because of the d*** credit card. Run don't walk , far away. In 65 years of living this dental office is the worst medical malpractice event of my life. P.S. when I questioned & complained about all of this , Dr. Hannah offered me a free bleaching. That to me is like a slap in my face after all of that. read more

After they found out that they cannot get more from my insurance Dr Hanna and her staff talk to me....they come in and out of the dental room where I was several times to convinced and persuading me to avail their exorbitant dental procedure ($2,000.00 per procedure and they are proposing 5 procedures for a total of $10,000.00- Dios mio) because if not, they said that my health is at stake (as if I'm going to die right away if I don't avail it). Let me begin by stating that I was denied access to see the doctor due to some concerns I had regarding my privacy and not having my insurance card on me. My first impression when I arrived for my appointment was that the establishment was similar to that of a Cash for Gold store. There is a person working the front desk from behind a wall with a small window to which they use to communicate with clients. The lady working the front desk, Melissa, opened the window when I arrived and offered less than a greeting by immediately asking "new patient?" To which I replied "yes." She then proceeded to slam the window closed only to reopen it moments later and tap her unnecessarily long artificial nails against a clipboard ordering me to complete the form and provide her with my identification and insurance card. While Melissa began closing the window, I asked her if I was required to provide my insurance card before I see the doctor, to which she said "yes" and slammed the window closed. I proceeded to sit down to begin filling out the form. To my surprise, I could hear Melissa through the glass angrily telling each of her coworkers "he doesn't want to give his insurance card because he's worried about his privacy." It was at that point that I contemplated taking my business elsewhere but wanted to speak with the doctor first. I got up and walked over to the window to speak with Melissa once more. I informed her that I had heard what she said to her coworkers and asked to speak with the doctor or supervisor. Without saying anything, Melissa slammed the window closed once more and walked away. A few minutes later she returned and opened the window and made an obscene gesture with her nails as an animated way to aggressively state that she is the supervisor and refused to let me see the doctor. I proceeded to wait roughly 10 mins for the doctor when Melissa opened the window again and said "you are not going to see anybody" and slammed the window closed. At this point, I left. This was a disappointing experience as I was referred to see Dr. Hanna and left work early to make it to my appointment. I contacted the person who referred me and notified them of my experience only for them to inform me that the business is performing poorly and losing clients due to their lack of professionalism. While I cannot provide a proper review for the doctor, the uncouth and vulgar behavior of the alleged front desk supervisor, Melissa, is enough to drive any potential clients away without a second thought. read more

Here's an update to the crowns that were put on me. I was truly never really able to chew on the left side of my mouth because they didn't feel strong enough and hurt for a while. My first crown fell two years ago. I've left it alone, now my second crown fell, coincidentally at the five year mark where Hannah guarantee she will cover the crowns for. I don't deem comfortable getting them put back here. I was younger and they created a sense of urgency. Since the visit 5 years ago, 3 other DRs have examined my teeth and told me more than likely I didn't need crowns because of the condition of my teeth. She will tell you that you need crowns on healthy teeth. I went in with a toothache and I got a root canal done in 2016 and less than two years later I ended up with an infection. I went to another dentist and they took X-rays. The root canal was not done right! Also, she charged me $5000 and wouldn't give me back the money. On top of it, she pulled out another tooth during the process which I told her I was uncomfortable. But again, being money hungry she was able to convince me otherwise. When you have a major toothache on a Sunday, there's not much you can do. We called 1-800-Dentists and got a referral to this place. We weren't that thrilled to go there because it was in the ghetto. "They're going to hack me" my wife says about going to Bellflower. The only room for improvement I could find was in the time it took for our service. I think there was one doctor on staff, and a bunch of people line up. It took forever. My wife was in incredible pain, and it took a nurse two times to finally get the doctor over to shoot her up. It took a couple of hours to get an X-ray, shot in the mouth, and a perscription. It was a little excessive. To their credit, the facility is very nice. Crown moulding in the ghetto? Get-outta-here! Flat screen TV in the waiting room, AND at your exam chair? It's true. That really helps with the wait. The staff? Totally cool. Helped out so so much! I think they're one of the best staff's ever!! I hope we never have another emergency situation where we have to go back, but if we do, we wont be as nervous about going, since it turns out that this place is actually "ghetto fabulous!" read more

I dont whether to give 1 star or 4 stars the first time i went there i had been in an accident and she fixed a lot of teeth yeah it was expensive but it was a lot of work, Then i went back to her for root canal maybe $1200 to maybe $1800 she charged me $5000 and before the root canal started she asked me if i wanted to get 3 other crowns replaced because she didnt like the way they looked after she did them, so now the root canal starts and instead of going thru the crown she grinded 2 of them out so now thats 2 crowns to be replaced gets me high on nitrous sends her nurse back in and asked again if i want to get the other crowns replaced, while im super HIGH like my answer was gonna change, so now she finished the root canal and puts temp teeth on both of them, waiting for my 2 new crowns to come in she tells me i might need a root canal on the other tooth for a another $5000 after she puts my new crown on but it felt fine at the time so that would have been a really nice used car for 2 root canals and 2 crowns DOES THAT SEEM RIGHT? I got crowns put in a few years ago and went back months after because they still hurt and I couldn't eat on that side. Went back to years later with the same issue and to them "it looked fine." Now I'm sitting here eating a Twix and nerves hurting like hell because the stupid brown is opened, always has been. Ive always felt cold drinks and hot drinks on only the two crowns. My food gets stuck there all the time. I went to a different dentist w almost a 5 star rating out of 116 people on bellflower Blvd and they took X-rays and saw how the crowns have had openings. She possesses both to a degree I have not experienced in my dental history and I am 72. I have witnessed several patients with "fear of dentists" calm down because of her demeanor and ability to instill trust and confidence. The office staff here is horrendously rude. "Jennifer" who answers the phone has hung up on me numerous times regarding this issue. My husband scheduled an appointment here for a root canal. In the beginning something was fishy because they were charging him a lot more than what is in the booklet for coverage. However, he still got the work done and paid. The dentist started the work but mid way said she was unable to finish the work and did not the instruments to do so. She sent him to a specialist where I had to pay for the same service twice. I contacted them regarding a refund to no avail. They told me the amount paid was for X-Rays and to open his tooth. However those procedures are 100 % by my insurance.
