They are not the most affordable, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. I had my 13+ year old HVAC finally die on me about a month ago during the 100°+ sweltering days. I called them and within 2 hours the technician came out to diagnose the problem, discovered it was time to replace the system, but temporarily fixed it until we could agree on price, model & install date. 2 weeks later, the city permit was pulled, they had their electrician & plumber out, and the entire system was replaced. Exactly on time, as expected & friendly. They laid mats down while walking inside to not get dirt anywhere on my floors, they wore masks, informed me of exactly what to expect, who to expect on site, etc. Booth was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through all the options for systems, design, pricing, etc. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Corey indicated my old unit was not repairable. I selected a unit, but later that day was told it was unavailable and a different unit would be installed. May 19, 2025: Champion unit installed ($12,667). May 20, 2025: Technicians left tools in my attic. I received multiple calls the following morning, and they returned to my home to retrieve them. June 1, 2025: Unit stopped working. Service notes indicate the outdoor motor was not working and wiring connections were adjusted; issue attributed to a loose plug. December 1, 2025: Heat did not work on first use. Service notes indicate reversed polarity (hot/neutral wiring), which was corrected at that time. July 5, 2026: Unit stopped working again. I called at approximately 8:00 AM and was placed on hold for 17 minutes. After calling back, I was told by a "manager" that the issue was likely a safety switch and that someone would arrive between 9 AM and 12 PM. At 9:05 AM, "Robert" called, asked me to restate the issue, and stated there would be a $90 service fee plus labor. When I questioned the charge given prior installation-related issues, he declined further discussion and told me to find another company. When I called back, Tina stated that Robert was a part owner but that the earlier representative was an inventory manager who does not handle customers. I was told I was being disrespectful and again instructed to find another company. My request for documentation of prior service related to installation concerns was declined. The invoices available on their customer portal have none of the service notes, however, I have the original invoices that do show the notes. The installation and customer service quality of this company are deplorable. Beware!!!

I was struck with a permanent physical disability since buying our new house so money was really tight. However for various reasons it appeared that in fact both the in side and out side unit had completely failed. We verified with three other AC companies. Our families recommended C&J as an honest straight forward company that stood behind their work. They may not be cheap, but what they install works . . . period. If it doesn't the will getting working. We had them replace that system with a 14 SEER twelve years ago and we follow up with an annual contract to make sure thing keep running since we both have to stay home now that the Wife is retired and I'm still . . . well. Anyway. C&J may not be a big name, but they are honest, they are local and they have been here for quite a while.

They are a third generation company-from grandpa to dad to Ryan, now being the owner of the company. Reference checks were stellar! On my first call, they answered all my questions and never minded my questions. Their quote is so thorough! You know exactly what you are getting. They give you options to pay, including a discount if you pay with a check, cashiers check On the date of installation, they arrived on time, and protected the flooring. Employee 1 arrived and began working on the outside. Employee 2 arrived and began working on the inside unit. Ryan, the owner, arrived with the equipment and I was able to take photos of the new equipment and see the old equipment out. He stepped away and his two employees continued working. The owner returned and was doing the finishing things. Installation was completed as projected. Overall, a great experience. Very happy. I wouldn't go elsewhere. Get the AC replaced and move on with your life! If I ever talk to Ryan again it will because I'm bringing him more business or it's time for our annual check up. :)
