We came here because we were craving some seafood. Food was good but beware that it stays hot for a long time. Luckily, they give you bibs, gloves and tools to crack your crab legs open. I got the A+ mix seasoning and hubby got plain garlic butter. He liked it but mine was better. Our server was very friendly and a pleasure to have. She made our bill right when the manager argued the price difference between the menu online vs what they give you when you come in. The ambiance was just ok. Have been to the chapel hill location before and was looking forward to this. Was sat quickly but didn't get out drink order taken for about 15 mins. Our server let us know that they were short staffed and that she was the only server. She said that the bartender and host were trying to help but weren't trying very hard which was aparent when they were standing around and she was running around non stop. We were there probably 1hr and 40+ mins, over an hour probably spent just waiting. Not trying to throw the server under the bus but management needs to do better about supporting those working and overworking. Food was good and was hot but if you needed anything it took awhile to be able to ask and then get it. Drove by looking for food and decided to try it. A bit skeptical because of the lack of reviews, but BOY was I wrong.... and glad about it!!! -I ordered a "kids" chicken finger meal-the 2 pieces are HUGE and a side of fries that were more than enough! -The Catfish dinner was great, nice portions (steak cut) and the batter was not too heavy or greasy. They were light on the seasoning tho. -The 1/2 lb shrimp were good also. I ordered them plain with just garlic butter (and they were swimming in it) but I didn't get any potatoes. I'm guessing that this review count is low because they're new but I would highly recommend giving them a try. What an expensive disappointment. I don't mind a higher price, I do mind seafood that was overcooked to the point that it tasted day old. The lobster was rubber stuck to the shell, crablegs were mush from coolking/sitting. The corn was wrinkled mush. I decided to check this place out during my recent visit in Ohio. This place seemed relatively new based on the review. First of all, it is very spacious and clean. The server (Flower) was one of the best servers I have ever met in my entire restaurant experience. The foods here were very fresh, and the chicken wings we got for appetizer was also really delicious. This place has not been open long. We just ate there and the food was great. The service was prompt and friendly, still working out a few minor kinks from what I can tell. The bar isn't operating yet, seems they are still waiting on a liquor license, so don't go expecting a drink other than fountain drinks or iced tea and the like. My only complaint is the sauce wasn't very flavorful I got the spiciest option and all you taste is a spicy flavor but no actual spicy . Wow! Great seafood! Flower, our waitress was amazing. Since this was our first time, she explained the menus thoroughly. Hubby and I split a dinner designed for one and still had leftovers. We will definitely come again. Their lunch specials appeared very affordable (noon to three). Wish I had room for dessert, the banana pudding looked like something I could devour. This was our first visit to A+ Crab, but it will certainly not be our last! The facility was very clean, and was decorated for the Holidays. All of the staff were very friendly, especially our waitress, Flower. She asked if this was our first time there, and took the time to fully explain the menu choices, and answered our questions. The food was excellent, and served very hot. The flavors and spices were spot on. They have a full service bar, along with an extensive menu. This "seafood boil" is served with corn on the cob, in a plastic bag!! Be sure to wear the provided bib and "gloves"!! We also ordered their chicken wings as an appetizer, which were fried to perfection and spiced perfectly. Before going, I would recommend reading their menu online, to become familiar with the choices. There are very few items besides the boils that are available for dining. Definitely A+++++! read more

On a whim we had dinner here on a Wednesday. I was happily surprised that it was way better than I expected! Don't like that you can't see into the restaurant from outside.
