    Seams already coming undone after one wear

    I have been ordering from a cut above for years and I've always received the best quality and comfortable shirts. Back in April of 2022 I reordered more shirts and received a message that it was back ordered a few months. After a few months I reached out and asked what the status was when it was well past the date they quoted me that I would receive the order. I then received another email that it was back ordered even more and that they were improving their product and would shipping it out shortly. A few more months went by and I got another email to wait even longer for my shirts. Finally in February of 2023 I reached out again and they said it would be shipping tomorrow. Well I finally received my shirts. The quality is terrible. The collar is all stretched out and doesn't fit well and has rippling in it. After one work trip the seams are already unraveling. A cut about doesn't care about their product anymore or their customer service. Their responses via email are rude and unprofessional. A friend of mine ordered shirts from them and their response to the quality of their product is that they won't issue any refunds if the shirt has been laundered at all and they'll only offer a $40 store credit. Ha! Credit for a terrible product. Also Their shirts are now made in China and it definitely shows. Before my shirts all had labels for Vietnam and the quality was amazing. You've lost my business because of your lack of quality and customer service.

    Went to get some buttons sewn and the prices were great and service was fast. Unfortunately the buttons popped off within a day.

    Excellent service even with a change midstream. Hopefully the supply chain issues will clear allowing for more rapid delivery.

    Great quality uniforms, all shirts backordered til who knows when. Ridiculous. A uniform company that has no uniforms. Good business model.

I can't recall now what ultimately pushed me towards using EmbroidMe, but I'm so glad I did. Working with Denise, the manager, was an absolute pleasure. She was great with communication, and wasn't afraid to offer constructive, professional advice when I asked for it during the process of designing 15 custom hats for an alumni gathering I was attending. As this was an especially important occasion--our 25th anniversary--I had to have the hats be right the first time, and completed on-time as the gathering was out-of-state, and under two weeks away. Throughout the process, Denise was in immediate contact when any design questions came up. This was especially reassuring as they actually took a hand-drawn design I had scanned over to them (detailed picture and multiple-sized words for front and back of hat) and turned it into a stencil/template for the hats, giving it a very personalized look. I couldn't believe the quality and attention to detail in recreating my sketch. Additionally, the color-matching her team was able to produce with the embroidery? Man, it was amazing! Oh, and they were completed in plenty of time, and nailed the agreed-upon price. Denise and her team just knocked it out of the park, and my alumni buddies were blown away with the finished product. I couldn't have been more proud to share such high-quality work for the occasion, and all thanks to Denise and her team at EmbroidMe. Highly recommended, and thank you SO much, Denise!!

I can't imagine taking such a good sewing machine as well as my Serger anywhere else. They use a certified Bernina tech so you can drop off your machine at the store and pick it up when it is done, about a one week turn around. I planned mine for when I had an out of town trip planned so I wouldn't even miss it. I bought both of my machines from Studio Bernina when it was still located in a Boulder. More convenient for me but really the current location is fine too. Just plan to head out there when it's not too early or late in the day if you are using Arapahoe. I also bought both my worktables from the store, nicely customized for each machine. Nice set up if you have some spare space, especially when doing big or complicated projects. I also took some classes from Susan and some of her staff at the old location when I bought the machines. Extremely productive classes and very professional teachers. I believe some of the long time staff is still at the Studio. Many of the class topics are very advanced techniques beyond me but I've seen some incredible finished products on display. If you want to learn a lot and want quality machines and service, this is the place.

    Horrible customer service experience tonight with Lisa and the manager on duty. It's sad to think of other customers having to go through this kind of treatment. I came in around 8pm and at 8:30pm asked to have fabric cut--30 minutes before closing. I was told they could only cut three fabrics due to it being so close to closing time. We had wanted 6 fabrics cut but decided not to push the issue. Lisa cut two, then stopped early to begin closing down the store. At 8:53pm--still before closing--she refused to cut the last fabric, claiming it would take "5 to 10 minutes" to cut one piece of 3-yard fabric. That excuse is absurd. Measuring and cutting fabric is basic service, and there was still time left before the store officially closed. When Emerson stepped up to help, she was directly told by Lisa and the manager not to serve us. This was after we had already spent about $150 on fabric and other items. Refusing service to paying customers who are well within store hours is unacceptable. I understand not wanting to keep staff past closing, but when a customer is in the store before closing time, they should receive service until that time--not be dismissed early. Tonight's interaction was dismissive, unprofessional, and damaging to Michael's reputation for customer service. I will be escalating this to Michael's corporate management, because I believe the company would not condone the way this store treated its customers.
