This was a frustrating experience from start to finish…read more I had my windshield replaced at the Safelite location in Fife, and I ended up having to bring my vehicle back twice to fix issues that should've been handled the first time. The first return was to reconnect my washer fluid lines and secure the cowl, which had been left loose. Then I had to go back again because there were exposed wires around the rearview mirror that hadn't been properly put back. Mistakes happen, I get that. But the biggest issue for me was communication. No one answers the phone at this location. I tried calling multiple times within an hour and every single time it either rang busy or went nowhere with no option to leave a message. I couldn't get ahold of the actual shop that worked on my vehicle. Instead, I had to go through the automated 800 number, sit on hold, and explain everything just to get rescheduled, twice. That's just not acceptable. If you're working on someone's vehicle, there should be a direct way to reach the shop if something goes wrong. Having to jump through hoops just to get basic issues fixed feels unprofessional. Between the quality of the initial work and the lack of communication, this experience was not a good one. Update 5.7.26 Shout out to Safelite for their disingenuous reply back that is no more than a coo out and a lack of taking accountability for the poor customer service.

An absolutely shady, dishonorable company. I had someone come to my work to fix a tiny rock chip in…read moremy windshield. Not only that, he asked if he could come in and use the bathroom, which I did not think would be a problem. He took an absolute sloppy paint job mud pie but no big deal, right? Well, it is a big deal now because the repair failed and they are refusing to fix it. All they are offering is to pay my insurance company back for the cost of repair and then I have to pay my insurance company deductible to have them replace the whole thing! They screwed up the repair and are refusing to make it right. I will not let this go.
