Leon agreed to remodel our kitchen on short notice. I agreed to do some of the labor myself. I…read moreagreed to let him finish new drywall, electrical, cabinet installation and paint. After the electrical rough in and drywall and stated I was not happy with the drywall (new drywall on ceiling, wall, patches & SKIM COAT ON REMAINING WALLS) I was unhappy with drywall as the finished was deplorable and not worth the $2900 I spent. Leon and the owner of the drywall company said that is what I get and there could be nothing done to make it right. The drywall is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! Horrible primer on the ceiling ( I never asked for) and absolutely horrible work. He bragged that his all American rag tag workers work the BEST!!!!! I immediately ended the work with Leon and agreed to pay in full as I expected that the electrical would be complete. He agreed and left, cashed the check & then stated that since I fired him that he would not complete the remainder of the work. I paid $5,500? for about $2,000 worth of work. Electric contractor left dead end wires (had to rewire entire kitchen!, did not center island pendant lights (only off by 8" because the floor joists were too easy to install instead of can lights, and no proper wiring to under counter lighting (I question the validity of the electrical contractor). Mind you none of this was done to code as I agreed to not having a permit but didn't know Leon operated this way. After I "fired" him he let me know that he was upset because I lost him money because I canceled his cabinet install the day after? I save $3K or more but I am out over $2K because he failed to complete electrical work and the drywall work was horrible. The contractor that took over shook his head and made things right. Leon does not accept credit cards for a reason. If I would have known I would have never written a check to him. He cashed the checks and would not make good on his promise. I am out $2,000 and still have horrible drywall & electrical work that I have to still fix. I paid $200 for can lights also that cost MAX $50 at home depot. He stated that was contractor fees! 200% markup? BE WARNED!! My credit card company stated never to pay cash or check to a contractor for obvious reasons. Also the site that he has great ratings apparently doesnt accept honest reviews so be aware. He DOES NOT STAND BEHIND HIS WORK.

I was extremely disappointed with Alex and Trimelogic. My small cottage remodel began in the end of…read moreAugust 2025 and was due to be finished in 4 to 6 weeks. By the end of March 2026, it had not been completed, and I fired Alex and his crew and got another group to finish the work. Much of what was done on my screened-in porch had to be removed or corrected. None of the supporting post were plumb, overhead supports were not level, and the sanded plywood that was installed as a ceiling for my carport was attached with trim nails. Needless to say, the ceiling did not stay in place. As for the inside of my cottage, architectural plans were not followed and rooms were not built to the specified size. I have wall switches that do not activate anything. The plumbing of the sink underneath the kitchen and bath have such long hoses so that the space is hardly usable for storage. The LVP flooring has cracked and needs to be repaired in two rooms. The overall lack of communication and sometimes showing up to work caused tremendous hardship on me. Because the project was not finished by the projected date, I had to live with my daughter for six months, and reschedule delivery of appliances. I found Alex to be overtly pleasant, but he did not listen to my concerns, built things the way he wanted to do them in spite of the architectural drawings, and provided many many excuses for why he did not show up on time. For example, he didn't work on one particular day and when I texted him to ask, why, he said they weren't coming because he didn't like the look of the sky. Although there were clouds, it never rained at the job site. Another issue of concern is that Alex did not get a to do the . As a contractor, I was under the impression he took care of all of the for the remodel and addition of the porch. My new crew had just begun working when a code enforcer drove up and said that all Work had to stop. The office had received an anonymous phone call saying that I was doing construction without proper permits. My new contractor took care of this problem that very day. I find it extremely odd that anyone could see what was going on at my house since I am surrounded by trees, and there's no way to see my house as cars drive-by. How would anybody know that a permit had not been granted when I didn't even know that?

Tell the truth, One of the owners would rather be employed as a nature guide in Alaska than run this company. I know this because the last time he visited my home, he spent a significant amount of time discussing his adventures in Alaska and how he could get me a great deal on a hiking trip there, completely disregarding my handicap and the fact that I use a walking cane. When I initially wanted to engage him for a roofing repair, it took him about six weeks to get back to me, and eventually, an active Repair was scheduled. Unfortunately, during those six weeks, the situation worsened, leaving me with a much larger problem. When I attempted to schedule him last year, we set an appointment. Afterward, I was unable to make that appointment and tried to reschedule. He was clearly irritated that I canceled and hung up on me. Since they are now undertaking large roofing jobs in other states, they are no longer interested in helping homeowners in this area in this area. Oh well. At least my very first interaction with them was decent.
