Got my chin/neck waxed and the result was awful and was only half finished. The waxing area was just a tiny closet with extremely unsanitary equipment that did not look like anything was cleaned between uses. The employee was using cut up rags from random discarded tshirts as wax strips and did not clean, exfoliate, or otherwise prep my skin beforehand whatsoever. This all resulted in my skin bleeding with several hairs still left over all over my face as well as multiple sections being completely untouched and still hairy. Horrible quality and a complete waste of money. Do not come here unless you want to get a skin infection. read more

This place has just gone downhill and isn't worth it. Back to back crap pedicures and I have to just realize this place is trash and no longer worth patronizing. First of all they are not disinfecting things properly so the place is a cesspool of germs! I received the nail colors from the nail tech after she grabbed them directly from the hands of person next to me. No sanitizing nada. Second these people always seem to be in a rush which shows in their poor quality of work. The last two times I got a pedicure here the paint was HORRIBLE and the calming feeling of self care was overshadowed with me having to repeatedly explain to the staff aht aht I'm not paying for trash work. Please redo this toe that toe, etc only to be met with THEM being annoyed. IKYFL . Long story long don't waste your time or money to patronize this place! Alright let me get this out of the way - I think the reason this place has multiple bad reviews is mainly due to the regulars not being the biggest yelpers out there to even out the score. The real ones know what's up. Finding the right nail tech for you is like finding a boyfriend. Maybe harder in my opinion. You gotta find someone who does quality work that lasts, fits in your budget and fits what you need - do you like talking? Do you not? etc. That's where Becky comes in. Becky hooks it up. She's quiet and calm, and pays a lot attention to detail, doesn't rush me. I've been going to her for a while. Main reason is because she actually cares about my nails. I had acrylics for a long time - she noticed a weird spot on my nails and suggested I hold off on them, giving me gels instead. I came in again for dip powder, two of the corners on my natural nail were chipped, she fixed them for me with tips. This woman is top tier. I haven't tried anyone else here but I have no intentions of doing so. So as far as the negative reviews - they happen. But don't let that sway you when the shorties in south sac really know that this place gets fairly busy and don't care about yelp reviews. read more

I can personally say I really like this place but I can also understand why it has low reviews. It all depends on the artist and how good your communication is with the artist. I've gone in and gotten my acrylics from different people and have specific people I would like to do my nails. I don't think it would be a problem for you to go in and see what they are working on and how their doing for you to judge them on your likes. I can definitely say I'll always be returning to this place. I personally love them and like it when the artist does what they want. Very beautiful work (make sure you include your budget if you're doing this.) any who yeah they rock. I don't feel like they get enough recognition due to bad reviews. Make sure you go ahead and make an appointment before Time if you don't want to wait, they are a busy place. It may not look busy if they say they are busy but you don't know how long or what treatments the clients have paid for as well. Hopefully you have the time and money to go ahead and pick your artist wisely :) btw the chairs massage you so good as your getting a pedi. Be aware that they will not perform miracles on your toes if they are messed up or not long enough. The paint is uneven, they look like they've grown out for half a week already with my natural nail showing, they left rigid edges, they're thick and a nail ALREADY broke.
