They did not and after several attempts to contact them I had to reach out to a different service station. After testing the battery for several hours this other service station determined it to be completely dead and I had to purchase a new battery. Perillo refused to refund the cost of the defective battery they sold me. They have the worst customer service of any service station I've ever worked with. Will never go back.

Their service team has been responsive--Ana Salgado and Alex Padalko in particular have been wonderful. However, their cashiers' conduct today was disgraceful. In the past, our caregiver has picked up our car and I have paid for the service online. No problem. However, without telling us ahead of time, Perillo apparently changed their pickup policy, such that they no longer accept remote payments. Because they did not tell us about this "new policy," we did not make arrangements for our caregiver to be able to pay when she arrived to pick up the vehicle. This created a problem, because our caregiver was due to pick up our young children from school. We explained the situation to Perillo and asked them to release the car so our caregiver could pick up the children. In a word, their response was heartless. I offered to pay over the phone, and I offered to immediately leave my office downtown to come pay the bill. Perillo refused any of these solutions, instead explaining to me over the phone--"as a courtesy"--the details of their policy change. Two employees told me there was nothing they could do, while they supposedly tried in vain to reach someone with authority to authorize a remote payment. They did not say whether this was possible, and could not even tell us how long it would take to find out. Ultimately, Perillo never did anything to release the vehicle without payment. Our caregiver was able to leave only after I made arrangements through our credit card company for her to be able to pay on site. Bottom line: Perillo blindly adhered to an unannounced new policy, and would not budge to accommodate a longtime customer whose kids were left waiting at school.

When they first quoted the work that needed to be done, it was less expensive than what the insurance agent said needed to be done. I went with S&J thinking I could save myself some money. Unbeknown to me they decided to complete the repair according to the agent's write up and change their price. I was annoyed that they didn't tell me that before starting the repair because if I had known they would be the same price as a dealership, I would have just gone to the dealership. I discussed this with them and they reduced their pricing a little bit, but not much. When I picked up my car it looked great, they told me that I had a lifetime warranty on the work they did. Great news I thought. Here we are a little over a year later and I had to bring my car back because a belt molding they installed never stayed down. Apparently it is my fault for not getting it repaired right away, but I thought I had a lifetime warranty. So, now they want to charge me half of the price for the price and the install because I should have brought it back right away to get it fixed if I wanted it covered under the warranty. Little did I know that lifetime meant within a year. I don't live in that area anymore, so it is too frustrating to drive out of my way to get it repaired there and have to pay for it. They are not very clear in their communication, so if you go there make sure you ask a lot of questions and get things in writing... funny, the warranty was in writing, but that doesn't seem to matter.

When I dropped off the car, I told him it was making a weird noise in the rear. After replacing the cover he decided to "punch" it while test-driving it. Somehow during his test drive the car had a low oil pressure issue and he still continued to drive it! When I got the car back the owner was "unavailable" and the receptionist was the one who gave me my keys. Imagine my horror when turning on the car and it vibrating/knocking as if the engine was to explode. They would not take responsibility. I managed to limp it back home. $6k later (engine replaced) and it now runs as it should. To add insult to injury they used a 3rd party rear bumper cover which does not align properly to the quarter panels. They managed to even screw up the one job they were supposed to do correctly! SMH
