We ordered two different curries--one mild and one spicy. What arrived was neither what the menu described nor what the photos showed. It honestly felt like the kitchen played a round of "Chopped: Leftover Edition" and tossed in whatever happened to be nearby. Then came the sushi. Apparently the sushi chef and the Thai chef agreed to share the same rice... because it definitely wasn't sushi rice. It was the same rice used in the curries. To complete the experience, our takeout bag came with: * No ginger. * No wasabi. * No soy sauce. * No utensils. * No napkins. At these prices, I expected dinner. Instead, I got a culinary mystery box. Expensive, disappointing, and definitely not what was advertised. And here's the part I wish we'd checked before ordering: the health inspection. Had we looked first, we would have ordered somewhere else. The report listed 14 violations, including issues related to cleanliness, pest activity, and food handling. That certainly put the meal into perspective. Save yourself the surprise...check the health inspection before you order. We definitely will next time. read more

This is a bright yellow building right off of the highway with parking on the other end of the building past the bar. Ordered a couple sushi rolls and well as the bbq chicken kee mao. The kee mao itself was edible but the grilled chicken was not and it had a ton of onions in it, which is we specifically asked them not to include. The sushi if super fresh and delicious. We ordered ahead and they do want to see confirmation of your order on your phone when you go to pickup. read more

We were looking for a place for lunch and this place sounded enticing than the ones in downtown! It had a great review so we decided to give it a try. I loved the paint outside of the establishment. The inside is small but super cute! We loved the decorations such as the white wind chimes and the pictures. Our server was so kind and sweet! She made sure about the spice levels we would like. There are 2 menus: one for Thai food and the other for Japanese sushi and nigiri. We got a combination of both -- more Thai tho :) I got the duck soup and it had such a flavorful broth! It's one that is very distinct from other broths/duck soups I've had and I loved it! It's seriously the BEST duck soup I've had! I loved the crispiness of the duck and the vermicelli noodles, tiny bok choy and green onions. It reminded me of pho! The spider roll my bf got was HUGE! I've never seen such huge sushi before and there were 10 rolls total. The Rice Krispies were a unique touch on top of the sushi but we didn't like it as much. But still...the sushi was pretty tasty! We also had their salt and pepper calamari. It was delicious! My bf's mom had the Pad Thai! She said it was the best she's had and my bf's dad had pad see ew for the first time! Overall we were impressed! Paul, the head chef and owner came by to ask how everything was which was such a special touch to our experience and also mentioned his story and how he once lived in Washington in 1999. 2026 (3 stars): The quality of this restaurant appears to be going downhill since my last visit. The sushi burrito was still tasty, but every time I order it I always request wasabi and ginger. 2 out of the last 3 times I got it, the wasabi and ginger were left out, even after I asked them to verify that it was included in the takeout containers. On my last visit I ordered pad see ew, and that was a huge mistake. Worst pad see ew I've ever had. The flavor was good, but even while still hot the noodles congealed into a brick-like mass. I had to use a knife and fork to cut it into chunks small enough to eat. I ended up throwing most of it away because it was inedible. read more

Everything was beyond what we expected. Chefs specialty 5 star crispy duck was outstanding! When asked by the owner what spice level we ordered it as hot as possible-he laughed and asked if we were sure and we said yes. What arrived was some of the most flavorful and definitely spicy duck we have ever had. Mom had tom yum and said it was the best! Pork & shrimp dumplings and salad rolls were both perfect. We came into A Mighty Thai and Sushi absolutely famished after a long afternoon of chasing our kids through the tide pools on Seaside Beach -- and it hit the spot. Our son was so hungry that he tried things he never had before. The Special #2 (prawns and scallops) served in a rich curry was the clear standout: tender, perfectly cooked seafood with bold, balanced flavors and a little kick. We'd come back for this dish alone. The Tom Ga soup was also a favorite -- fragrant, rich, and citrusy with that perfect coconut-lime balance that warms you up from the inside out. The sushi was fresh and solid -- nothing overly adventurous, but well-executed and satisfying. The Pad Thai was just okay -- a bit too sweet for our taste and lacking the depth we usually look for, but still good enough to finish. We did experience a bit of a wait, but it was clear that everything is made to order and thoughtfully prepared, which we appreciated. Our server was gracious and accommodating and she was working the entire restaurant. Bottom line: If you're in Seaside and craving Thai or sushi, this spot is worth your time -- especially after a beach day. Just come hungry and bring a little patience. My family and I are visiting from california and we decided to stop by at this place and it was such a wonderful experience. The food was AMAZING and the service was wonderful. My mom and brother got the curry and it was delicious and I had one of the bests sushi I've had in my life. I'm really confused by the high ratings of this place. Our waitress was nice but that was about it. We were on the back patio which was a lovely view of the river but we waited 45-50 minutes for our food. My husband went inside after 30 and asked to take it to go because it started to rain. We had our dog so couldn't go inside. My husband said they had forgotten us. They were not busy, maybe 3 tables of customers who already had their food when we came in. Lol So we took our food to the car and ate the sushi we got. The crispy flakes they put on their sushi was pretty much rice crispy cereal -- never seen that. That was weird. My pad Thai was super bland and my husbands cashew dish was just okay. So yeah...I don't give 1 or 2 stars often so I feel bad but here we are. If you're from a bigger city with a big amount of Asian population, you can immediately tell the differences with the food here. Sushi was averaged but the Thai food wasn't great besides the Drucken Noodles. Pad Thai was dry, no sweet, no sour, no spicy. It tasted like Sriracha sauce and tamarind. Fried Rice was ok, but the amount was small and there was a few slices of chicken only. The Orange Dish was ok but again, portion was small. There was 8 of us and were planning to share all together but with the amount of food we received, it was like a personal meal. Pho tasted like a lazy version of pho I would make at home. But I guess it's acceptable in a small town. Sadly won't be returning. Service was average. Place is cleaned. read more

Oh my goodness! Their panang curry is to die for...truly! I ordered it a "little hotter than medium" and the flavor was amazing! Some of the best panang curry I have EVER had! Came here on a whim when we were driving from seaside to Astoria. We honestly weren't expecting much but were surprised that there were many cars in the parking lot. Walking into the restaurant, we saw how deep it goes with an outdoor patio section. We had the $50 sushi special which was such a good deal. It came with 5 rolls with 10 pieces for each roll. Food here is very good. The Pad Thai could use a bit more flavor but they do give you extra chili oil and spices to add to it. Fried rice I would say the same thing. We went last night for the third time, and it was great, once again! This is near my home and when I saw a new Thai place had opened, I had to check it out and it was so good, I came back twice and will go regularly as we all love good Thai food and this was excellent. We have tried a variety of dishes and it's all been just right, fresh and authentic taste. The chicken satays are the best I have had anywhere, tender and juicy and seasoned just right. My daughters have tried several noodle and rice dishes and liked them all. Last night we had some Thai tea for the first time and it was just right, not overly sweetened or excessively milky, but just as it should be, with the tea and spice flavors predominant. Legit Thai food on the coast! Yay! The food here is so flavorful and the various notes dance on your palette! What a surprise find as I was driving back from Gearhardt heading back to Cannon Beach. Craving Thai food, I randomly stopped in and I am so happy I did. Obviously others know how good this restaurant is as there were lots of customers inside. While they serve sushi, I can't speak to that as I ordered the Thai E-San papaya salad and the Pad Woon Sen, a vermicelli rice noodle dish that not all Thai restaurants make. Really enjoyed the green papaya salad, the fresh Thai chili pepper gave it the heat I love, a great contrast to the crisp papaya, green beans and cherry tomatoes. So good! The Pad Woon Sen was delicious And hit the spot! Vermicelli noodles stir fried with broccoli, carrots, onion, tomato with some fresh bean sprouts on top. A squeeze of lime adds some acidity and compliments the sweet, spicy, sour flavors of this classic Thai dish, often served in Thai families because it's fast and delicious. I wouldn't have visited this restaurant had I not first read the reviews on Yelp. I haven't had great experiences with restaurants that combine different types of cuisine - like Thai and Sushi - but Mighty was really good. When we arrived the service was a bit slow, which is the only knock on this place. But once we ordered, the service got much better. The food was also very good and very fresh. My kids got sushi and the rolls were very fresh, including the avocado, which to me is a great sign that they care about serving fresh food. My wife and I got some Thai dishes which were equally tasty. We also sat in a table that overlooked the lake, so the atmosphere was decent. And the server allowed our kids to choose a Matchbox car each for being such well-behaved kids, which is a very nice touch! read more

The reviews were quite mixed so I wasn't sure if we should come here. I am seeing a lot of people talking about change of management. I ordered a Rainbow Roll, and the spider crunchy. They said with crab, but it wasn't real crab, the spider had the smallest amount of crab inside I have ever seen, it had a piece of romaine lettuce inside, which I had never seen in a spider roll before. Seemed like a cheap way to make it crunchy. Both rolls tasted like something I could get at a grocery store. My husband ordered pad thai, and it came out an hour after we sat down. We decided to try this new restaurant that opened in June and were pleasantly surprised to find delicious Asian food! We tried the tasty pad see ew with tofu that had a sweet soy sauce and some veggies. We also had salmon roll and a pickled veggie roll, both prettily presented and tasted fresh. I'll just get right to the point. The food is pretty good, especially for this fairly remote-ish area. But we ordered 8 dishes here, and they forgot to include 2 of them. Ridiculous. Thankfully DoorDash made things right. If I just ordered on the phone or something I'd be skeptical I'd get anything back - I'd probably have to file a partial chargeback or something. So moral of the story: if you have a large order, MAKE SURE you double and triple check your order before getting home. read more
