I greatly appreciated the email follow ups/receipts, and Samantha called me the day before to run through the process and make sure we were ready to go!

The job was much bigger than I originally thought. Their attitude was outstanding. Each time I asked the to do something was met with "sure, no problem". I can't say enough nice things about this company. This photo was taken after 9 hrs of hard work.

WOMEN: PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING -- SAFETY CONCERN…read more I am not a former customer of this company -- I am a resident who encountered one of their crews blocking my building's parking access. What happened next is why I'm warning other women in particular before you consider hiring them. On July 8, 2026, a Move For You crew parked their truck in a way that fully blocked vehicle access for two buildings, with zero advance notice to residents. When I politely asked a crew member to move it so I could get into my own lot, one employee -- a young man in a white shirt -- became visibly hostile. After finally moving the truck only enough to leave a narrow gap, he walked directly up to my moving vehicle as I drove through it, closing the space further, and aggressively pumped his chest and head toward my car -- the unmistakable body language of a man trying to intimidate a woman into backing down, or worse. I was driving home from a doctor's appointment with an elderly neighbor in the car, who witnessed this entire exchange. This was not a miscommunication. This was an adult man, employed by this company, choosing to physically intimidate a woman alone in her own parking lot because he was asked to move his own truck. I have photos of him and the vehicle, and I have filed formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Illinois Attorney General's Consumer Fraud Bureau, and Chicago Police. If this is how their employees behave when mildly inconvenienced, think carefully before letting them into your home, your building, or anywhere near your family. Women in particular should know exactly what they may be dealing with before booking this company.

Smooth moving experience!…read more Initial contact: There's an easy to use online portal where you can input your inventory and details, sign your contract, etc. The team is also very communicative via text. All the communication is rapid, clear, and convenient. Price: on par with other professional moving companies in the area. Move experience: Seamless. The movers called to say they'd be a few minutes late because of truck issues, but they more than made up for that time by working quickly. They sent 5-6 people to help with our huge move (finally, a company that understands how to staff large moves!), were prepared to handle some very heavy and oddly shaped items, and were extremely proactive and patient with helping me figure out where to put some furniture in smaller spaces in my new house. Vibes: The movers treated our items with care, treated our home with respect, and were still incredibly fast with making the move. I mainly communicated with the manager of the crew, who knew his stuff, was professional, and was patient with my questions and concerns. Overall: great experience (as great as the misery of moving can be, and I've already hired them for a second time for another move!

When I called them about my missing box plus the computer and bedroom set all they said we are insured up to $0.60 a pound. All four men were kind, efficient and very professional. They were so hard-working, I had to get water and everything because of how hard they were working. You definitely get your money worth working with this company; besides the great customer service, they do care about your items. It's really good value if you have to move, especially during these times.

BEWARE Do not ever give them cash…read more TLDR: Today - almost a year after my move - I received an invoice and debt collector's notice from H2H's lawyer saying I owe $537. My original $4,306 move turned into a $6,487 move and now H2H is trying to come back at me for more money!!! Are they scam artists? Full version: It has been almost a year since I moved with H2H and they extorted $1,600 extra out of me - and now they are back, using their law firm Mayerbock, to try to extort more money. - The rate we negotiated was $4,300 (attached). - When they picked up my things they said it would be $4,824 - fine, maybe I had more things - After an entire insane fiasco (see my other post) where their movers didn't show up to deliver in San Francisco, they sent my things to LOS ANGELES made me pay another $1,600 to have my things rescued and back to the original place of delivery (breach of contract) - At this point I owed under $600 which I was ready to pay whenever movers actually showed up and they were sending numerous voicemails and texts and emails insisting I can only pay cash or Zelle - The day of the move was also a nightmare with H2H on the phone, but the subcontractor was nice and polite (I even tipped them). They accepted $600 cash, in addition to the $1,600 check for LA move, both noted on the bill of goods receipts
