This is my go-to for manis and pedis. The price and service can't be beaten, and the complimentary drinks (a decent selection of beers, wines, sodas, and water) are always nice! The staff are so accommodating and helpful, and they give the best leg massages (included with the pedi!) They are always willing to change the channel to fit your wants/needs and are amenable to chatting OR having you sit silently in your own phone/magazine-filled world - as you wish! Walk-ins are welcome; appointments are taken, too. I believe that there are only two people on staff, but it is truly a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, so I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes without an appointment. They don't have a HUGE polish selection, so you may want to bring your own, but I can always find something that works - and it always seems to be expanding. I'd seen a lot of positive reviews on this place and thought I'd check it out. It's right up the street from me and I would have loved if this could have been my go-to place. The prices are reasonable but I believe that's because the service is sub par and cleanliness is not a large priority. Only two clients were in the salon and I waited over 10 minutes to start soaking my nails off. As I looked around, I noticed nail trimmings all over the floor...which may be expected for a nail salon but it's a very easy clean up to keep appearances...I don't want to walk and hear a crunch underneath my shoe. :( Overall, my pedicure was certainly not the worst I received but meh, I've had a lot better. read more

I recently moved back to Dallas and went looking for a nail salon just as the pandemic arrived. After months of looking at my horrifying nails and toes, I knew salons were doing limited clients so I looked for a good salon. All the reviews of this salon spoke of how lovely the husband and wife were who own it, and how wonderful their work, and prices. I called and made an appointment and arrived to find I was the only person there. They made sure I wore a mask and they were wearing masks and plastic face shields and gloves. Everything was spotless and I didn't touch any polish, just pointed and she brought me samples of the gels she thought might work to match the toes I had picked. My pedicure was perfection, and my gel mani was equally great and mice arm and hand massage as well. I so recommend this lovely comfortable salon. They are taking the CoViD measures so seriously and it was a relaxing and long awaited pleasure. For an unreal price! Support these wonderful people!!! read more

A lot of women in Dallas are super-high-maintenance and self-absorbed, therefore unable to please no matter what you do. I've been using this family nail salon for almost ten years and I have never had a complaint - not one. They are most gracious to my family and I and they are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Please don't leave crappy reviews because you didn't get your way and your nails won't look good with your outfit on Monday morning. There are only TWO employees here (husband and wife), so NO if you come on Saturday or Sunday afternoon trying to do the walk-in thing it won't happen b/c they will be busy/booked. The best way to get in here is to call ahead (generally around lunchtime is when I get through on the phones), though they DO WELCOME WALK-IN's regardless of what Alexis O says; now we all know not to read her reviews, as they will be false or inaccurate. read more

I visited the venue about a month ago. I am new to the area and was seeking a good nail salon close to home. I must say that I was totally satisfied. Thuy applied acrylic nails and shaped them just as I requested. I am used to solar nails, but she did such a good job that I am going to stay with the acrylic for now. The pricing is great and I really like the atmosphere. I was a walk-in, so I had to wait a bit, but plan to make standing appointments going forward. The parking is tricky as there are limited places close to the venue, but one just has to be prepared to not be able to park right in front. I absolutely LOVE this place. I go here regularly, but if it's your first time, I would love to offer a few tips.. Background on me: I'm from LA where nail salons are on every corner and are generally pretty cheap. I'm not really into overly fancy salons because it's not worth it. I've been to a few here in Dallas, and it's obvious you're paying for decor and not service. I live near this location, so I figured it'd be worth a shot. The worst time to come is in the evening for several reasons: Parking SUCKS (it's across from the Granada and tons of restos around), they close at 7:30. If you're not there between 6-6:30, they won't work on you because 1, they don't want to rush and 2, they usually take last appts at that time and 3, it's ran by a couple- only 2 techs, for those unsure what that means. If it's your first time, I recommend MAKING AN APPOINTMENT (and keeping it) and going either early Saturday or Sunday when parking is ample. If you can walk or take your bike, even better! They do offer wine, beer and sodas complimentary, which I enjoy! They give great arm and leg massages and the chair massages are great too. There are 3 large flat screens that usually have Bravo or E! on, so I'm able to catch the "rags." They have all the name-brand polish: Essie, OPI, Orly, China Glaze and even OPI Gel. I only have gotten gel and mani/pedi... which were all amazing. Mani/Pedi is $32, and if you factor in wine/beer, it's a steal! Those who said the couple are rude are ridiculous! If you come close to closing to ANY establishment, ESPECIALLY a small business, they will ask you to come back! It's not rude, it's professional. Why rush great service? I've forgotten items there and when I returned a month later, the item was given back to me. Most places would probably throw it away! Not rude at all! As far as cleanliness, I've been coming here for a year consistently... I've been here in the summer, winter, spring and have NEVER seen a bug! I can't even recall a fly... not to say that there wouldn't be any... no matter what establishment, again, you might see a flight buzzing around. Would you not go to a grocery store if you saw a fly around the produce? If it's in your alcohol... um, alcohol kills germs! Just saying! But again, I've never experienced this. Bday gift cards normally suck - but not this time. I was pleased with how long my toenail polish lasted and the tech was super meticulous. I would've loved to give this place a 5 but they have a one glass maximum. If I'm in there for 2 hours- I want 2 glasses damnit ! It's def a situation where you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I have been coming to this salon for over a year and I loved it. 3 -4 months ago, the owners stopped answering the phone. Their mailbox was full so I could not leave a message. This has been the pattern for about 4 months. Another customer told me that they stopped answering the phones and are no longer doing dip nails. So I went by today to check on them and see if they have time to see me. I walked in and Twee, one of the owners, acted as if she doesn't know me. Found my best mani place for pink and white french nails! They're always booked for weeks ahead shows how good they are, and they take all their time to give you the best nails ever. I went first time in December after being recommended by a friend, and definitely going back again! They use a special paste that keeps the shine on the nails for weeks! I've been going for years and have turned on all of my girlfriends and my mom (who drives from Plano to have her toes done) to this place and no one has been disappointed. Parking (especially on the weekends) can be a little tough but, unlike another reviewer here, I don't blame the parking issues on the staff and certainly don't think it's their job to make sure I get a parking spot. Went here for my first time yesterday based on the many reviews saying this place is detail-oriented. The reviews are true! The last time I had gel acrylics set, they looked lumpy and bulky and I was in and out of my seat in 20 minutes. Here, I sat for longer than I'm used to, but it was because the lady had such attention to detail and made sure they were all smooth, even and as natural looking as possible. The price was more than I am used to paying from nail salons in LA, where I never paid more than $25 + tip for a set, but looking at pricing in Dallas, this place is actually competitive and lower than the rest. There was only one other person in there (granted it was the middle of the afternoon on a Tuesday) so I got a nice long leg and arm massage with my manicure and pedicure. Just got my nails done there. We called ahead on the Friday we went. She said that they could do me and my friend's nails in an hour. Loved the great job they did. They had a lot of colors to choose from. It was very relaxing drinking a complimentary beer on a massage chair and them giving you massage that comes with your Mani pedi! OVER THE TOP, Amazing-who knew? While visiting my daughter last week we did a YELP inquiry for a mani-pedi. This far exceeded our wildest expectations.
