I finally got to try Noodle Story! The place is cute. Service is friendly. My husband had the banh mi and enjoyed it. I had the tofu salad bowl and lychee lemonade which I enjoyed immensely. I love the pickled carrots and the tofu. This is my new favorite place. There is not many Vietnamese places here in Temecula, so this is a great place to satisfy your Viet food craving! The one thing I would improve is serving food at the same time for one ticket. I ate my salad, and 5 minutes later, my husband finally got his sandwich. No big deal, I still love this place! My favorite items to order are anything with Char beef bahn mi and pho... The smokiness comes from the flames of the wok which is like a work of art itself... Bahn mi: 10/10 Possibly the best in town! Char beef or anything charbroiled is really good Charbroiled beef pho: 10/10 The owners are really welcoming and are usually always there to help you with your orders or if you have any questions about the menu. What really sets them apart from other restaurants are there items are able to need customized so if you don't want cilantro or if you wanted extra onions that wouldn't be a problem. A "try this new place" popped up on my phone for A Noodle Story, so decided to try it put. I'm so glad we did...outstanding good with good service to boot. We both selected the "make your own bowl" option...Shelly had jasmine rice, grilled chicken, cilantro, cucumber, mixed greens with the traditional Vietnamese sauce while my bowl was basically the same the base was vermicelli and the protein was the grilled shrimp with peanut sauce. Upon entering, we were welcomed with a warm hello, which is always a plus. The lady (who I believe is the owner) was extremely sweet and friendly. She took our order, we paid and then sat down. The food is made to order and was brought to our table. There is self serve water and the toppings/condiments are also self serve. The lemongrass beef bowl was extremely delicious, fresh and flavorful. I was so pleasantly surprised! The owner came to our table and asked us how we liked the food and we said it was spectacular. I also found out they have only been open about 2 weeks and working out a few kinks (we experienced none during the visit). The ambiance is bright and clean but also very welcoming! I've heard alot about this place and it did not disappoint. I love the menu options so many variations to create something for anyone. When we got there the whole dining area was full so we stood and waited for our to go order. It was a little smokey inside, but it comes with the whole freshly grilled to order meats. The staff was friendly and took orders quickly and made them quickly too. Inside was clean, the condiment table had all kinds of options for your food. Overall I would definitely come back here again. The Bahn mi was very tasty the meat was grilled perfectly. The pho was amazing as well. Broth was flavorful my only suggestion is a little more chicken for the chicken pho. read more

Second time here, the environment is not very welcoming (much different than the vide off instagram and the reason I wanted to try this place, whoever runs that page should be the front of house employee!) First time we got two staples on the menu the bahn mi and and the chicken pho. Both were good no complaints. However this next time I came in and asked for to go and built my own bowl and asked for no veggie toppings and not only was I judged when asking for this but then not even given what I asked for. Kind of a shame for a new place to be starting off on not such a great foot, not sure if I'll be back a third time. read more

I came here on my break. They got my food fast! But they werent super busy around 1pm. I got the Chapter 3 and exchanged the chicken for beef. I was a bit skeptical when i saw the meat. It didnt look pretty. But once i tried it, it was sooo tender and delicious. I felt it was a good, hearty portion of food. The flavors were VERY fresh and delicious. I really wanted my broth to be a little more creamy? But aside from that, 100% perfect dish. I loved it. I also got thai tea, which the owner said is not actually on their menu :) its honestly really good. I really dont like thai tea except at thai restaurants, or other similar cultured. My only complaint is that there is a lot of ice so there wasnt much beverage and the tea i wished were a hit more concentrated flavor. Its super clean inside and looks like a relaxing environment. Vertebra friendly and quick service. Ordered a combination pho and they sure loaded up the bowl with the protein(chicken, pork and shrimp). All the veggies were fresh and fragrant. They did not have a beef broth. Chicken and vegetarian broth available. We will come back again when in the neighborhood. read more

The first time, we dined in and ordered Chapter 1: Build My Own Bowl (the pork was delicious!), along with egg rolls and crab Rangoons. Everything was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the prices were great. The service was also excellent--the staff took the time to explain how to order, and later, the owner even came by to check on us, which was a nice touch. The second time, I called in a takeout order. The girl on the phone was friendly, and when I picked up my food, the staff was just as welcoming. My first time here and it was perfect. Came here with my child so we got a few things. I ordered the Chapter 5 which is a Banh Mi and was so good the roll was toasty and crunchy and the meat was seasoned great the veggies were delicious it dripped the sauces together and it was soooo good. My child got the chapter 5 which is chicken pho. And she at the whole thing everything! I mean this child put it away like done laundry. The music and was great to vibe with and the decor pleasing. Just so good!! Been here 4 times in past 2 mths just so consistently good. Veggies are so fresh. We've gotten take out 2 times and they really arrange things so nicely. The place is clean and inviting. Just love it! Now to the food. So my kids just love their pho. I love their curry. We call this laksa in Malaysia and frankly this curry is so so good. I think this is better. I love their banh mi. Lemongrass beef is just so good. Ok I just ate but I may need to return tomorrow. Just so good, so fresh, so clean and yes very reasonable. read more

Did a quick walk in this afternoon and I really like the concept and the freshness of the ingredients the sandwich comes on a great French baguette if you add garlic shrimp it's a two dollar xtra price. I got the pork it was tender just an excellent well sized proportion sandwich definitely will be returning to try the soup and the bowl combinations. read more

This Vietnamese eatery is hands down the best spot in Temecula for fresh, flavorful food! I love that you can create your own bowls -- everything is always so fresh and delicious. The owners are absolutely amazing, some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, and the service is truly second to none. I have a shellfish allergy, and they always go above and beyond to make sure the meat I order doesn't contain any sauces that could trigger my allergy. It means so much to feel that cared for as a customer. The banh mi is the best I've ever had, and the Vietnamese coffee and lychee lemonade are a must-try!
