Very quick to raise his voice at you. He was not patient when I had questions about the repairs he did on my car. It seemed like he was very agitated when I asked questions. Excellent, polite and profess customer service along with good, efficient auto service is really all you can ask for. I just popped in for an AC recharge and he was able to get me in and out within :30. We discussed some other items I needed to take care of on my truck, but there was zero pressure to get it done now or even by him; just good advice on the issues. I've been going to him for a solid two years restoring my 99 Mercury grand Marquis from a flat to cold air hot air &replacing the radiator . He's never ever given a receipt & the part he warrants his work is a lie. He charged me twice this past year for the heater. $600. Then again $400. He said he's giving $200. Off when I shouldn't have had to pay anything . You better get the receipt he doesn't warrant his work & a bit too greedy for me.one time he charged me $60 just to stick his hand in the engine & re-attach a radiator hose to the engine or something (He replaced the radiator)that had come loose. I needed an alignment job for my car and I started searching around and found Armik shop . I went down to the shop and handed over the keys then came back and the car was back to factory specs. He also inspected my brakes , hoses , and other parts. He told me what looked good and what I needed to keep my eyes on because it was getting due for replacements. It's good to have a mechanic that takes care of a car as if it's his own which is rare in some cases. I wouldn't think twice in coming back because I know my car will been taken care of. read more

Excellent place! My entire engine was swapped in 2 days. I towed the vehicle to him it took him one day to remove the motor and one day to put in the new one. The man who runs this place (I think he is the owner) is so professional and also such a nice guy! My AC has been broken for over a year and I had a different mechanic quote me a crazy amount to fix it before even looking at it. When I went to A plus, he took the time to look at my car and assess the problem before giving a diagnosis. Once he figured out that it was a broken AC compressor, he promptly called to find out the cost of the part and gave me an extremely reasonable price. Hi all. I'm back again with another review for Armik at A Plus Auto Shop on Central Ave., Glendale, CA. Today while I was driving from East San Gabriel to the smog check station which is at the same location, I had a problem with my '94 Cadillac Sedan DeVille, which I still love to drive. As I was driving on the 134 freeway to Glendale, I was in the 3rd lane from the carpool lane driving just past Pasadena. The Cadillac had been giving me problems prior to this day, and when I took it out for a drive, my information display had shown a disturbing message. "Battery Not Charging and Engine Overheating". Then I noticed I had NO STEERING ability as I was driving at 55-60mpr. I put on my emergency flashers as I carefully drove in the farthest lane on the right along side the Emergency Lane. The moment that I saw a Call Box, I was able to pull over and come to a rolling stop. I called Triple A and stayed in the car. I reached below and pulled the hood release latch and popped open the hood. After opening the hood I saw my problem. The timming belt had come off of the engines wheels. I was very disappointed, concerned, and worried that there may be damage to my Cadillac. The tow truck arrived and as I was showing Jesus the belt, I pulled it out and was expecting to see a torn or ripped belt. To my relief it was still connected, and just slipped off. I called Armik my dear friend at A Plus Auto Shop and told him that I was enroute to his shop. After we arrived the Cadillac was dropped and Armik said, "the water pump has locked and that's your problem". We talked about what it would take to repair the car and how long. He quoted me $320 for the whole job. Armik ordered the new water pump and it was delivered in less than 30 minutes. That part brand new was $65.50 plus the work was $248.64 with a $5.89 tax, so the job was $320 which I felt was a fair cost for the repair. Armik worked for just over 3 hours on the car. The check engine warning light had been on for quite a long time. However my Cadillac is my secondary car. The primary car is a 2006 Toyota Prius. I only drive the Cadillac for special occasions or if something goes wrong with the Prius, I still have a car to get around with. After Armik took out the bad water pump, he explained that it most likely was the original water pump, which makes it a 22year old water pump. BOY THAT'S OLD!!! After I took care of the payment, I thanked Armik again because every time my Cadillac gets sick, I go to Dr. Armik and he makes her feel better once again. As I was driving back home to ESG, my engine warning light FINALLY turned off. My Cadillac got me home and I was truly relieved that we made it back. So go see Armik and you won't be sorry you did. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him and he's HONEST and KIND. I also THANK GOD and JESUS for keeping me SAFE while driving on the 134fwy when I hardly had any steering abilities to pull me over to the emergency lane. I never thought I would submit a positive review for a mechanic but I must say Armik at A Plus Auto Shop was a tremendous pleasure to work with. The mechanic named Armik let me know exactly what was wrong with my car and gave me a reasonable estimate and a time limit it would take to get it fixed. I have a 93 BMW and had a check engine light on. The guy helping me was really nice but he wandered around the car looking for the OBD port, didn't know that he needed an adapter for my port to match his diagnostics machine, didn't enter the right make and model... All said I got charged $40 to clear the code. Really I probably got charged $40 for looking over his shoulder, that is fine. That sign out front that says German specialist must be left over from the previous owner. I won't be back. read more
