Told me when I dropped them off to come back in a week so I could pick out the color of leather, which this interaction was fine and maybe that was because someone else was in there. When I came back today (a week later) he screamed In my face telling me if I didn't get my claim ticket I could not see the shoes even after I politely explained that my daughter ruined and threw away the claim ticket but that I have pictures of myself wearing the shoes and could describe what was wrong when I brought them in but he cut me off every time I tried to speak so maybe he didn't even hear me.. I kept trying to speak on how we could remedy the situation so I could see my shoes and then he finally lets me see them and we agree on Friday (a few days from now) that it would be done. When i ask if there's something I can write down because I don't have the claim ticket anymore he yells in my face and says "if you don't even look for the claim ticket of course you aren't going to find it. If you don't have a claim ticket by Friday you're not getting your shoes. No claim ticket no shoes." I'm front up north so I know what northern attitudes are like and this is not the normal rudeness a person would have.. this was just talking down to me and that's when I said just give me my shoes and I'm leaving. So he picked up my shoes, threw them at me and I left with my shoes not done and a week wasted.

He tells me to come back in a week to pick them up. When I get there, he gives me the shoes and to my amazement he had not done the work. All he did was change the tips of the heels. I brought it to his attention and he insisted he had cut them. He became boisterous and rude. Oh and I forgot to mention that I do have another pair of these same shoes at home in a different color and I compared the two. They are both the same height, confirming he did not do the labor he charged me for!!! This man/ Ryan is delusional but worst of all a dishonest man. As I was researching cobblers not too far from Orlando, I decided to give them a try as I had some nicer Italian made shoes I needed repaired. They are located in a plaza with multiple businesses and are nearby a Progressive branch. The plaza is a long strip with parking along the building - if you go early enough, it should be easy to find a spot. Both times when I've gone, the owner is there and some of his team. Everyone has been friendly and incredibly knowledgeable when I've dealt with them both times. They take a good look at your repairs and they will be honest about what can be done or not. The first time I brought in a pair of heels where the branded insole was loose and a pair of boots with major scuffs/a bit of heel damage when I purchased them. They were able to reattach the insoles on the heels and they filled in/improved the look of the boots. (They made it clear that they could not do a completely invisible repair, but it was well done where you'd have to look up close to see the repair.) When I picked up the shoes, I dropped off more pairs for work to be done. Pricing is comparable to what I paid for my repairs in the OC in California. They will text or e-mail you once repairs have been made and completed. (The first time I dropped off my shoes, I called to check and they apologized and explained their texting system stopped working recently and they were working to correct the issue with it. This time, they did the text system and e-mail for me.)

Many places wouldn't give prices/estimates over the phone, but K Shoe did and although a little higher than others they had great views and sometimes you get what you pay for! Not only did the shoes look great, but they knew I had a flight to catch in a few days and finished my shoes 2 days earlier than what they original quoted me. Just be careful that the price they give you can easily increase depending on what material and additional fixes you have done.
