They also referred me to someone around where I live but they were out of business so I found BEN'S TV Repair it turns out they're located five minutes from my me. What a hidden gem it's a MOM and POPP owned business . I love it. This guy's got 50 years of experience & history. He knows his stuff. They called me shortly after that saying that if it's a screen problem they can't fix it. So I asked them why the $55 charge? "So we can pick it up and take it to our shop and verify that we can't fix it." The screen had a couple of lines shooting across the screen and it was screen/picture issue. When they came to pick it up, they reminded me that they might not be able to fix it. I get a call next day confirming that they can't fix it and now they don't want to return TV till late next week cause there's no service calls in my area?? Such a scam, don't fall for this hack. I'm beginning to suspect their rating is rigged or something b/c just terrible way of handling 'TV repair' business.

I'm sure Lou's a busy guy so I had to leave a message but he called me back within an hour or two, and then said he'd be able to come out the very next day. When the tenant sent the photo of the finished repair, I was hoping that the white part that I was seeing in the photo was a protective plastic cover..... but nooooo I find out this was the actual part!!! Who does this???? Yes I understand that no other part could be found, but this could have been communicated with me for my approval before you even purchased it. Your doing this clearly shows that making your money was your only concern. Unfortunately the tenant paid him. I won't be using you again. My 9 year old spent a lot of the spring whining about getting kicked off zooms and I have to admit that I'd be pretty annoyed if that was happening to my work calls. One week into fall e-learning and I told my husband we had to look into upgrading our wifi again. A bunch of people had suggested the Eero pro drastically improved their lives. He bought it and called Paul's Winnetka TV to install it. Paul showed up (masked of course) a few days later and told us we didn't need the pricey Eero and he could make our wifi oh so much better, especially in the rooms where it wasn't working as well (mostly my daughter's corner room upstairs and my husband's office in the basement). I'm not really sure what he did (some sort of re-rerouting), but he spent many hours here and our internet works perfectly in every room. It's always worked well in my office, but it's extra fast now, which I love. And most importantly no complaints from our resident 9 year old whiner. He charged us $400, which was less than the Eero (we returned it). He even showed up a few days later as promised with wood shelves to go under the routers and very patiently helped me re-connect my printer to the network. I've heard of so many others having network issues as we adjust to our temporary lives working/schooling at home and would highly recommend giving Paul a call.
