When our son was just 2 months old, and having spent one month in the NICU, the thought of leaving him with strangers was defeating. A friend recommended Lovedale Montessori, so we scheduled a meeting with the Director, Mrs. Heena. Upon entering the building, the layers of security - multiple doors, fingerprint access, locks, cameras - were immediately reassuring. The facility looked modern and impeccably clean. Mrs. Heena, with a huge smile, addressed all our concerns during our 2-hour conversation, providing ample proof as we toured the classes. Lovedale uses an app for parent communication, offering updates on diaper changes, meals, naps, and my favorite - photos! What I can't stress enough is the genuine love the teachers have for the children. Our sons teachers have become an extension of our family. This love extends to every staff member, who knows each child by name and takes the time to show care. Lovedale is more than a Montessori Academy; it's a safe haven for our children. Parents can rest assured that their child is cared for according to their own standards. We will continue to use Schoolhouse for afterschool care and their wonderful Summer program for as long as they will let us! The Summer program is such a God-send, since we don't have to run all over town, carting kids to multiple week long camps. The school and the staff have been playing a significant role in the development and growth of our daughter. Over time since she joined, Isha loved going to school.
