She is probably the WORST person EVER. I've never hated someone these much. She actually is so bad at her job. I remember when she was new and doing X-rays on me took forever because she was just terrible. She blamed me for having a small mouth like I could control that. Other people who have done it on me did it with no problem so it's just her. She makes so many snarky remarks in Cantonese and her and the dentist sometimes LAUGH at me thinking I don't understand?? If I hear her voice I actually get really triggered. I'm not sure what's wrong with these people but this place is the worst!! They always seem to not know what they're doing and I'm always waiting for them even when they call me in! Dr. Peter Sein (Ortho doctor) said it would take 2 years, and I would have to pull out 4 teeth before starting the process. Dr. Irvin Kaw was the doctor to pull them out at the dental side. He was also the doctor to pull out 4 of my wisdom teeth a year later when my braces got off. Yeeeeaars later, guess what? I needed braces again T_T. It's my fault, I didn't wear my retainers like I was told. So I did shop around looking into invisalign and other dental offices around the area, and East West Dental had the best pricing! Being a return customer, I also got a discount. I was also able to get the clear brackets, which you can't see in pictures and the timing this time is only 1 year & half. Before starting the process, they told me I need to do a mini surgery to remove the muscle frenum (the vein on the top gum pushing my two front teeth apart). Dr.Kaw was the one to do the surgery and he made the whole process easy. He was talking me thru the whole time to get my mind off the pain. Ortho is only open Friday and Saturday. If you have any problems that happen any other day, Dr.Kaw can help you at the dental side. I had a bracket that fell off since I ate things I wasn't suppose to, and he was able to relive the hanging till I saw Dr. Sein that weekend. He was also able to help me cut a wire that was poking me too hard. Moral of my experience, WEAR YOUR RETAINERS! Or else you end up coughing up $500 for a new pair, then getting braces again. Between Dr. Kebriaei, Dr. Sheinbaum, the staff, technology, cleanliness, affordability, and convenience, this place is basically perfect. Dr. Kebriaei (Dr. K) is the best dentist I have ever had. She is extremely detail-oriented, remembers me and my care, happily answers my questions, and genuinely cares about getting the best possible result instead of rushing me through like a number. I've been to reputable, highly reviewed dentists who barely remembered me even after several visits. Dr. K is completely different. She has even personally welcomed me when I walked in and helped me right away. I've had no long waits with her, and she always seems genuinely happy to see me and take care of me. Her restorative work is incredible. I've seen restorations elsewhere that look like generic blobs of tooth-colored material--you can immediately tell the tooth was repaired. Dr. K's work is the opposite. About half of one of my front teeth broke off, and she restored it so perfectly and naturally that nobody looking at it would assume it had ever broken or been restored. It doesn't look like filling material; it looks like the natural tooth I was born with. That is what makes her work special: it looks perfect without looking artificial. Her visual restoration work honestly is celebrity-dentist quality--the kind of perfect-looking teeth that still look completely natural, as if you were born with them. She repaired cavities in two front teeth and corrected/polished chipped, jagged, uneven areas. They went from messy and chipped to smooth, neat, shiny, and polished. Visually, it is like a full cosmetic restoration. My smile affects my confidence, career, and everyday life, and Dr. K cares about function AND the final shape, symmetry, finish, and natural appearance. Dr. Sheinbaum, the oral surgeon at Dentists of Rosemead, was also impressive. To be completely clear: he was NOT the surgeon who told me a major nerve would need to be cut. That was an outside oral surgeon at a different practice whom I saw first. That outside surgeon, despite being reputable and highly reviewed, explicitly told me that extracting my impacted wisdom tooth would require cutting a major nerve in my jaw, and that afterward I will have trouble speaking correctly for weeks, months, or even the rest of my life, along with other complications. That terrified me because speaking normally is extremely important for my career and future. Thankfully, Dr. Sheinbaum evaluated me and said he did NOT need to cut that nerve. He extracted the impacted wisdom tooth on Saturday without cutting the nerve, and everything went incredibly smoothly. By Sunday I could speak completely normally and felt like I could have gone to work with no issues. I returned to work Monday: my voice was exactly the same, nobody noticed I'd had oral surgery, I functioned normally, and I was doing so well I often forgot I'd even had surgery. Healing was remarkably smooth and painless. I'm incredibly grateful to him. Another huge advantage is that this clinic has its own oral surgeon. I didn't have to go elsewhere, start over, make extra appointments, repeat processes, or deal with insurance again. Dr. K handled my general dentistry and Dr. Sheinbaum handled my surgery through the same clinic, saving me a huge amount of time and hassle. The office is spotless, bright, modern, and genuinely happy-looking--it feels like there isn't a speck of dust anywhere. The staff are genuinely happy, incredibly helpful, smart, knowledgeable, and actually seem happy to help patients. The technology is outstanding. They use the newest, cutting-edge dental technology from top, established manufacturers rather than older-generation equipment or lower-cost generic/rebranded alternatives. They have detailed 3D CBCT imaging, and I'm especially impressed by the clarity of their raw images. At other offices I've seen poor-looking raw X-rays that appeared to rely heavily on software/ai enhancement afterward; here, the original X-ray images themselves look extremely clear and detailed. Current-generation equipment from leading manufacturers plus detail-oriented doctors makes this office genuinely cutting-edge. Finally, I have Delta Dental HMO, and my prices here have been incredibly cheap and affordable. Considering the quality of care, personal attention, advanced equipment, and ability to receive both general dentistry and oral surgery in one clinic, I'm extremely happy with the cost. The quality of care is unmatched as there is no wait time, appointment times are respected and efficient. Dr Mai is nice and explains what she is doing so I am not nervous about what is being drilled, pulled or injected. Nancy is a really fun assistant and is always there to debrief the next steps. The best part of this experience is MARY. She is funny, silly and makes you feel comfortable. She is the heart of the office.

Instead I was surprised because I was expecting to get a cleaning not just X-rays. Also lately they give me looks and make me feel unwelcomed. I'm new and need clarity on things so I should not feel like I'm being annoying just for asking questions when I am not well Informed on how hmo and ppp works and just switched insurance. I also work in customer service and understand that some people need more time than others I would hope they would be more patient but some of them make me feel stupid for asking for clarity on things. If you work in customer service and with patients there should be more high level of care and empathy. Also it seemed more like they wanted to leave early. If they would have been forthright and said hey theirs a fire and we will have to reschedule due to our employees safety so we will have to reschedule you sorry for the inconvenience but instead they made it seem like it was my error when they were the ones who told me I needed a cleaning. Instead they made me feel like it was my error. The reason I am frustrated is because I had taken the time off on something they said I needed. And a lot of back and forth going on. Now I need a crown which they had told me prior but now that I am ready and want things done on two appointments they seem to tell me it's up to the dentist discretion. Just frustrated and feel that they need better communication with patients as I had taken my time off off of work come here and not get the work done that I was told I needed. I had been seeing the Dentist and I used my FSA Debit Card to pay for the co-pays. I contacted the office to realized that they never billed my Delta Insurance for services rendered however they charge the customers before you leave. They are doing some shady stuff. My FSA company put a hold on my card until the Dentist billed the insurance I needed an invoice or an EOB the office was absolutely NOT helpful and very nasty every time I called them they said the billed was out on leave for an extended time off. Until I made a big deal the finaly billed the insurance and I got an EOB and cleared my FSA account. They now refuse to see me as a patient even tho it was there inability to handle the billing update and legal. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUADALAJARA DENTAL OFFICE. THE STAFF IS VERY NASTY AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
