I hate going to the dentist as much as everyone else but Dr. Pham did my filling in like 6 minutes! Usually I need a bite block and I have to stop often because it's uncomfortable and makes me gag. But Dr. Pham works with so much skill and care that even I was relaxed and the filling was finished before I knew it. My filling and teeth cleaning were very affordable as someone with NO DENTAL INSURANCE!! The staff were very friendly as well. This was my primary dentist for a bit but lately they are hard to get a hold of I have been calling since Thursday I left a message no one answered I called yesterday and left a message and today I've called several times and goes to voicemail. They called me regarding a cleaning I gave them several days Monday and Friday and Saturday but they kept giving me different days and times when I was at work and not able to come in . I'm dissatisfied with the level of service lately as it seems they want you to come in as whatever is convenient for them and not the patient when I told them the other days I have work and those days is more flexible and easier for me to go to the dentist. Mind you I have been trying to make an appointment since they called me in March and they have not been able to be accommodating they said that two Fridays they would be closed and when I said Monday or Friday they said can you come in on Thursday at 11am when I already told them the days I am available. I have been coming here for a few years now and I have had quite a few things done. I had cleanings, deep cleanings, tooth extractions, wisdom removal, root canals and crowns. The entire staff is amazing! Lin and Cindy are so nice and I have had a few encounters with Lorena and she does amazing cleaning. 10 month UPDATE - I went to another dentist last month for a routine cleaning. I didn't mention anything to them about my prior experience or issues at this location. They did some X-rays, then the dentist came in and told me one of my filling look very "suspicious" and asked me if I've been experiencing any pain. He didn't even need to tell me which tooth, I knew which one he's talking about. I asked him it it's the left bottom molar, he said yes. Turns out the filling done at this place that was causing me so much pain for so long was not done very well. He showed me on the X-rays how there is a gap between the filling and my tooth. I told him the whole story about how things went at this location. How I had the filling done and was in persistent pain for 6 months. I couldn't eat on that side or go anywhere hear that tooth with a floss for 6 months. I also told them how I went back to this dentist, and was just told that it's sensitivity and that "it's normal, it'll go away." The new dentist just shook his head and said no, food could get in the crack and lead to infection. So I need to pay out of pocket to replace this filling that this dentist messed up. I endured 6 months of pain and not being able to eat on that side. I made the effort to go see him again about the pain but he just told me that it's fine. It has been 10 months now, and I still get random sharp pain sometimes. I am going to my current new dentist to redo this filling, hopefully that'll fix the issue and I can finally eat and floss normally again. This filling has caused me SO much unnecessary pain. And it's funny how he replied to my original review, and said a bunch of things that wasn't even related to my review. I wasn't complaining that the insurance didn't cover the deep cleaning. I was saying that insurance didn't think I need a deep cleaning - I didn't either. But of course he'll push for a deep cleaning. My current dentist didn't mention anything about needing a deep cleaning either so ... hmmm .... Interesting, isn't it? Another thing in their response that's weird is that it mentioned that they redo the exams every year and that the patient decided to proceed with treatment plan ... did they even read my review carefully? That's the opposite of what I mentioned. I mentioned that THEY told me on the phone that since it's been over a year then they'll need to redo the X-rays and I said okay but when I got there, THEY skipped the X-rays and led me into a room and told me to sit down. Which really confused me. Man, they're not even reading the reviews carefully before they respond. The comment about returning to them is hilarious as well because I DID that. I called them about it first. The receptionist just said it's fine. Then I called again and said it is still hurting .. A LOT. So they scheduled me to go back in but then the dentist said it's normal sensitivity ... but I kept telling him it's really painful. Not "sensitivity". This place is a hot mess, don't come here. You'll be paying more money in the end and you'll go through unnecessary pain. Also a huge waste of your time. read more

Came here for the reviews, and to my surprise they took Medical! My teeth were aching, and I went to 2 other dentists that told me that I just had inflammation was all. Two weeks later my mom noticed that my teeth had shifted, even though 3 previous dentists said that my wisdom teeth were growing straight, it was hurting so much that I decided to take it out. Fast forward, I made an appointment to come here. Everyone from the receptionist, to the dental assistant, to the dentist was SUPER friendly. I loved my experience here! They also used up to date technology, especially on the xrays (so you don't have to bite on those silicone things anymore to get a picture of your teeth) It seriously didn't even hurt. ALSO, because they had a newer xray machine, I found out that the wisdom tooth that has been hurting this whole time WAS NOT growing out straight. So my previous three dentists who used older xray machines either could not tell OR did not care. Either way, everyone at this office was super sweet when I went. They made me feel comfortable and oh yeah I ended up pulling out 2 wisdom teeth that day. I was super scared but the dental assistant and the dentist comforted me. Totally had a great experience here, and the price was competitive as compared to other dentists as well. read more

I'm so glad I found Happy Teeth Dental! The staffs are amazingly nice and helpful. The front desk ladies always greet me and my family (yes, my mother, brother and grandmother) with a friendly and warm welcome. A special thanks to Linh for always providing me with exceptional service, accommodates my hectic schedule and help me translates (she's trilingual.) He is very professional and make procedures completely painless. I'm a nursing student and I've given and received numerous of shots so I know a gentle hand when I see one. I had a tooth extraction and I didn't even feel the local anesthesia being injected. I was even more amazed at how quick the extraction was!!! Dr. Pham always explain the procedure and frequently assess/checks to see if I am doing okay. The whole process was quick and painless. This is how every dentist visit should be! My mother and brother both had fillings and they're extremely satisfied with his work. :) His assistants are wonderful ladies who I feel really cares about their patients. They usually prep me and give me sunglasses so the light will not shine directly into my eyes. I made the biggest mistake of coming here and regretted it dearly. Booked an appointment for tooth checkup/extraction and cleaning and ended up spending $750! How did it happen you might ask, well here goes... The visit: Came in on a Tuesday morning and checked in, fill out some forms. Then proceeded with x-ray exams assisted by a very courteous and professional young lady. Shortly after Dr Pham came and introduced himself, reviewed my x-rays and sure enough there was an infection on the said tooth - upper left-side molar. It has also lost some bone tissues in the area thus making it loose therefore resulted with an abscess. He'd suggest extracting it and while looking at my x-rays, also recommended extracting another tooth on the lower-right then placed with different options such as a bridge, implants, and along the way with some new crowns for the upper front teeth. He showed me various options then let his assistant Lin took over for the up-sell. Now I don't mind since I have every intention to get my teeth fixed/done. She introduced a series of different replacement types and various materials etc. I finally agreed to do the work in the sum of about $8000, also to do it in different sessions. While getting ready for the process of extracting a tooth and bone-grafting, she recommended I also do a deep-cleaning for an extra $320 (which I hadn't had since my last one more than 7 or 8 years) so I thought it is probably better to get really cleaned while I'm at it. The work: Doctor returns to prep for tooth extraction, deep-cleaning and bone grafting. He first shot some local anesthesia, most likely lidocaine to numb the particular molar tooth. Waited a few minutes and comes back to proceed with supposedly 'deep-cleaning' my teeth. He started the cleaning process but none of the gums are numbed like my previous sessions. The cleaning ended in less than 20 minutes and it felt very much like my usual regular cleanings done elsewhere. The deep-cleaning I had before requires two sessions. The one here also stated 'Periodontal and Root scaling' in quadrants from his rate sheet, meaning deep scaling on each quarter for $80. Mind you I'm already missing a couple teeth at the rear with no swollen gums but did not feel any scaling at all other than the machine brushing away on the top surfaces and sides of my teeth, finished with a nice polish by the same courteous assistant. Then he comes back again to extract the infected tooth and fill in some 'bone'. By this time I couldn't speak much but managed to pay, drive home and give him a call later on during the day... The conversation: I got in touch with the office for Dr Pham to return my call and I addressed the issue with him saying that I felt the cleaning wasn't a deep-cleaning but instead was just a regular cleaning. I then related to him regarding previous sessions I've had with deep-cleanings that involves numbing my gums and took about 45 minutes for each session to complete. Dr Pham then went on mentioning his technique about being efficiency and that he uses Oraqix, a topical solution to numb the gums, etc, etc..which works efficiently, to make it quick and simple for people so they do not have to come back. Now he did offer me a return visit and willing do it the way I wanted - to numb the gums by injection, deep scaling and however which way, etc, etc...then keeps on addressing this new Oraqix procedure. I'm not questioning about his techniques on how my gums are being 'numbed' but rather the work itself in regard to the cleaning process. By this time I stopped debating and thought to myself whether I should return for the next big step for my implanting and crown procedures, etc... Conclusion: In all honesty I was ready to let them do the work, about $8000 worth, maybe more along the way, until I was cheated out of $320 for a regular-cleaning instead of deep-cleaning. When I got home, I use a dental-pick and go deep underneath my gums and scraped some good amount of breakfast chunks/particles still lodged inside. For this I surely confirmed that I did not get my teeth deep-cleaned. The thing that ticked me most and ultimately got me cancelling my next appointment was the fact that he claimed to do things 'fast and efficient'. Now I don't know about you but for regular checkups and cleanings, yes and maybe, but when I'm about to spend in excess of $8K I'd want a doctor to spend time on me, and ultimately to do the job correctly - because I scheduled myself available to you, drove quite a way to your office just so that you can make things efficient for yourself isn't the way for me...especially when I'm about to pour some major dough ($$$) into your office. So instead of spending $80 for tooth extraction and $350 for bone-grafting, I wasted an additional $320 for a regular cleaning in the total sum of $750 that morning. Yep, efficiency = fast $$$ for the Happy Teeth Dental. read more
