    A Snail's Pace is THE place for runners to shop! Not only do they have running shoes, but they have running gear, running fuel, running recovery tools, just about anything a runner needs. And of course, a good selection of running shoes. I came here today to pick up a bib for a race, and was pleasantly surprised to find so many items. The worker there greeted me, and was not pushy for me to buy anything. I saw enough customers there on a random afternoon on a weekday. The store was clean, and well organized. Although I did not need to purchase anything, I would definitely come back to grab essentials. Happy running, A Snail's Pace!

    There are a few of these around. They have a good selection of shoes, clothing, and accessories for runners. Most of them employ actual runners who can recommend products, but other times there will be an employee who is not a runner and does not even know one of the brands of running gear. I do love that they have a treadmill that you can use to find the best shoe for your body's needs. If you are interested in finding a new shoe, or you're just starting out, this is definitely the chain to hit first.

    My partner took me to this place since I'm training for the Socal River marathon. I've just been training in whatever sneakers I got and she told me I need to get some real running shoes. We came in got greeted by Chris. Now being new to all of this he put me through the whole for process. Usually when we go to any type of store the employees always feel like they're reading or going off a script but with Chris it was like I was just being helped by a friend. While educating me about my feet and stuff I need to know about running we joked as well. Overall it was a great experience that I know many more people should experience. I highly recommend more people go in for a analysis even if it is for walking shoes.

He suggested a couple of shoes but highly recommended the ASICS Gel-Kayano 32 because they have the most support for the arch. He also assisted my wife with a selection although she came in sandals he had no problem giving her a new pair of socks to be able to try on some shoes. I personally don't like the thick sole but if that's what's going to get me moving so be it. This location is an outdoor mall and there is parking but depending on the time you go it may be difficult. I highly recommend this location due to the fact that the Ricky was polite, professional and knowledgeable, he helped me save an additional 10% by signing up for the newsletter. They have plenty of sizes in stock, they also have a BOGO 50% off. the value of the shoes are good if you plan to use them for the gym and running or even everyday wear. Staff members were present, but no one acknowledged me, offered assistance, or even asked if I needed help while I was browsing. It felt unwelcoming and disappointing, especially when you're ready to make a purchase and expect at least minimal customer attention. Good products alone aren't enough--customer service matters too. I hope management improves staff engagement so future customers feel valued.

I also just want…read moreto say that I am not a petty individual, however this visit was a little upsetting and disappointing. I wanted to let this go, but I feel I have to say something. Last week, I arrived at this VS a bit too early, so I waited outside for about 20 minutes until it opened. The female employee who opened the store, gave me a stone-faced look as I entered. She never greeted me, instead she ignored me and whipped out her phone. It was kind of off-putting, but I wasn't going to leave the store over that, since I did make the drive after all. At the time, there was only a mother and daughter (both Caucasian) inside the store besides me. As I was waiting in line behind them to check out, the same female cashier who opened the store (cashier #: 6003321/register #: 40/Caucasian woman with long brown hair and piercings all over her face and ears) smiled and greeted them happily, she even joked with them and made them laugh. This female cashier then went out of her way to wrap their items neatly, and pack their VS shopping bag with tons of pink tissue paper. She made their shopping bag look like a legit gift. That is what VS is known for, they are iconic for the gorgeous presentations of their shopping bags. However, when it was my turn this female cashier came off very cold and uninterested. She never once smiled or said hi or anything. She acted like she had a personal problem with me or something. It was strange. I was also in the middle of asking her a question, when she rudely interrupted me. And then after the transaction was done, she did not say anything and just dropped my items in a bag, and handed it to me. I don't mean to come off petty, but she did not bother to use 1 single pink tissue paper to wrap my items or place any inside my bag. I was confused but I let it go, but still to this day, I am not sure why she didn't put the same effort into making my shopping bag look just as beautiful and special. I don't understand why I was not treated with the same kindness, courtesy and respect as the mother and daughter. It could be that maybe their pink tissue paper is scarce, but either way, I do not feel it is right to treat one customer better than another. I am Asian and I hate to say this, but I definitely felt a strong racist vibe/energy coming from this cashier. To the manager: please train your employees to treat every customer equally and fairly. When I go into a VS store, I go there for the experience. If I am not given the experience, why would I make the effort of driving all the way to your store? This location has lacked decent customer service for a while now. I say that because this was not the first time I have encountered, this type of inconsistency and disrespect at this Westminster VS. I will not make another trip here unless I really need to.

I understand that it's before closing, which is the reason I was being mindful and rushing to make my purchase but I decided just to order online instead because the service was horrendous at this location. I have worked in the customer service industry for many years and I understand having a bad day, but this girl was laughing with her coworkers right before I walked in so she was obviously upset that I walked in 30 minutes before closing.

Upon entering, there were three employees visibly working in the store two male employees on the sales floor and one female employee behind the counter. Despite walking directly past the two male employees, neither acknowledged us, greeted us, nor asked if we needed assistance. Instead, they appeared to be engaged in a personal conversation with one another. As we continued browsing, I spent time in the women's section while my husband looked at shoes. I walked past the two male employees a few times, and on one occasion, one of them made direct eye contact with me, yet still did not offer a greeting or assistance. Shortly afterward, a female employee came from the back of the store, walked directly past me, and likewise failed to acknowledge my presence or offer assistance. At that point, I became disappointed by the complete lack of customer service. After this treatment my family and I decided to leave the store. After exiting the store, I remained outside briefly and observed one of the same male employees assisting another customer who had entered after us. Wanting to give the store another opportunity, I returned inside and continued browsing in the women's section. Even then, several minutes passed before a female employee finally asked if I needed assistance. While I understand that employees may be busy, there was no indication that these employees were occupied with customer-related responsibilities. Instead, they appeared focused on socializing while completely ignoring my family and me. As a consumer, I should not have to repeatedly walk past employees, make eye contact, and spend time browsing before receiving even a basic greeting. Every customer deserves to be acknowledged, welcomed, and treated with professionalism and respect.
