Linh knows exactly how to work the cat eye magnet and make the color look like that velvety glitter, not just a metallic color! I went to 5 different salons in SF and no one was able to do my nails like Linh! I never have to inspect my nails for oddities because Linh does it for me and triple checks each nail is like the other. Salon is clean and I appreciate them sweeping and washing the pedicure stations after each service. Flat rate for pedicure is $50 but includes hot stone massage, and a hot lotion/wax treatment! I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was completely unacceptable. And reading some other comments the same lady is so hostile and rude. I called ahead to confirm walk-ins for a regular manicure and was told yes, and to come in right away since I was nearby. From the moment I walked in, the attitude was rude and unwelcoming. I said I had just called for a manicure and was abruptly told, "Pick a color," without any basic courtesy. While looking at colors, I saw gel options and decided to change my mind after speaking with another customer. Even though I was simply browsing, I was loudly and repeatedly yelled at ("ma'am, ma'am") in a very aggressive and humiliating tone, as if I was doing something wrong. When I explained I wanted gel instead, I was immediately corrected in a condescending and dismissive way, told I had said "regular," and spoken to as if I was being difficult. There was no patience, no explanation, and no professionalism. At one point, I was even physically bumped into while being directed to move, and treated in a rushed and disrespectful manner that made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. I ultimately left without receiving any service because the environment felt hostile and disrespectful. I texted Kelly, the shop owner, about it and mentioned my suspicion that the top coat and metallic polish didn't work well together which maybe caused the chipping. When I got to the it's me time salon the owner of the place was rude with me because I had to sock off my nails before I get done (and I let her know that on the call when I schedule my mani and my pedi). Do not come here if you want a relaxing and stress-free time!!! I came here the day before my wedding, looking forward to a relaxing time at the tail-end of a chaotic and anxiety inducing week. I had an appointment at 10am. I walked in at 10:05, first one there, and the first thing the owner told me was that I needed to hurry because she had other appointments. Not a great start. I asked if I could get something similar to a french manicure, but she said no b/c there was no technician that day. Okay, no problem! I'm flexible. I won't knock points off here; I should have double checked. They sit me down, immediately start soaking my feet and fingers. I can't even use my hands to pick a color! Not great. I haphazardly pick a color; they start painting my nails immediately. I don't like the color but it's my first time getting a gel manicure and wasn't sure if I had an opportunity chime in. They finish painting my nails and ask me if I like it. I said I don't... its not the color I expected based on the swatch. I start feeling unhappy. Then the owner says that the lady doing my nails had asked me if I liked it after the first brush. I told her that never happened. I also expressed I did not appreciate being rushed the moment I stepped in the salon, at that the owner told me, "You walked in at 10:15 and I have appointments scheduled for 10:30." That's not when I showed up for my appointment.... but I did not want to get into a he-said, she-said fighting match. She's being very aggressive and my instinct is to walk away from a situation like this because it's not worth my time and energy. But I also wanted to fully express that she did not treat me fairly: I'm a paying client who booked an appointment! So I stay.... and then..... I'm not proud of this at all, but I start crying because all the stress of planning a wedding comes tumbling out in that moment. The owner continues to speak to me antagonistically. After a lot of aggression, she DOES offer to redo my nails, which is to her credit. However I had to decline because I had other things to do and wedding guests to attend to! She treated me even more rudely after I declined her offer. I left the salon feeling awful, in tears. Even worse, I left with the skin of my hands somehow more dry and cracked. WTF? If this was a normal day, the owner's attitude would not have bothered me, and so maybe the situation wouldn't have escalated. But still, she was rude. And if you're trying to get wedding nails done, or if you're trying to treat yourself because you're having a stressful day, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

I went to its m3 time to get a mani/pedi since I had recently taken my acrylics off. I typically get my acrylics done somewhere else, and I go every 3-4 weeks, but I decided to give my nails a break before christmas/new years. I went to its m3 time because I am a fan of how they do their pedicures. I figured since I would be there I could also do a gel mani. upon arrival I had asked the lady doing my nails if she could do the design with a different french tip (pictured below). She starred at the picture for a while before finally agreeing to do it. Once she started I really wasn't a fan, but I was trying to trust the process. It had taken her about 5 minutes just to do 1 pinky, but I thought to myself, "maybe it's because my pinky nail is so small it doesn't look good, let me check the ring finger". Once she started on my ring finger, I knew that a. she wasn't actually able to do the design and b. I did not like how they looked whatsoever. I had asked her to remove the paint and she took it off of 1 finger but not the other 3. I was already kind of annoyed so I figured I would just come back the next day and do a color change- since they were also closing. I called the next day and asked how much a color change would be, because I really did not like how my nails came out. Immediately I was questioned, "who did your nails? why don't you like them? she's the best, why didn't you speak up last night?" I explained that I did, in fact, speak up and that's why the design wasn't on the rest of my nails, but I just wanted a color change so how much would that cost. The lady on the other side of the phone began to tell me, "well I can't do it for free, so it'll be $20. You really should have said something yesterday I don't understand why you don't like them. Cant you just stay with the design? Just keep them, it's a lot of work to redo them and I can't do it for free". I was honestly shocked, I never said I wanted anything for free, so I don't know why she kept assuming I was demanding a free service. I also was annoyed that she kept telling me that I should've spoken up because I did. Maybe- rather than experimenting on someone's nails, if your team doesn't know how to do a design then don't agree to it?? I would've gladly gotten just 1 color and been fine with it if I was told the lady doing my nails didn't know how to do the design. The lines are extremely messy, uneven, and from the side the polish is bumpy. This isn't the first time i've been disappointed in how a manicure came out, but since i've only gotten it done one other time i'd figured i'd try again but I regret that decision. I am very particular about my nails and how they come out, and this set was not up to my standard at all. I love the pedicures, but for a poorly done manicure + attitude from those answering their phones, I can find another pedicure spot, easily. I won't be returning, especially since i'm now just uncomfortable voicing my opinion on how BAD my nails look after one of their manicures. read more

I have been coming here for about 2 years. I was in love with their pedis. But the second to last time that I visited It's M3 Time I had technical difficulties and my Venmo tip did not go through to the nail lady. That same night at 9PM I get a call from the owner telling me that I my tip did not go through. I think it's unprofessional to call someone about that and especially that late at night, but she deserved it. The next time I go there I get the same lady that had previously done my pedi. I go in I pick my color and soak my feet. She asked me if I want my nails cut short and I tell her just a little. As she finished cutting my toenails I realize that she cut them super short, to the point that unexposed flesh was exposed. After the pedi I realized that I felt that I had somewhat of an ingrown nail (on both big toes) but I did not want to say anything since she had already cut my nails super short. It turned out that I had the worst ingrown toenails that I have ever had in my life. I had pain for about a month after the pedi. I've had this lady do my nails before and never had an issue... Is this a coincidence? Point is I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more
