She's the only one I trust with my ingrown nails--she gets them out without any pain and makes sure everything is perfect. I went to someone else last time because she was out of town and NEVER again, they gave me so many new ingrowns. You need to ask for Donna when you come here, if you want the best experience. customer service and overall experience are top-notch. honestly, the pictures speak for themselves. Need I say more? I always get GEL pedicure and they last up to 1 month and more. If you're getting regular polish of course they won't last more than 2 weeks that's just standard. My nails turned out somewhat nice but the service was pretty terrible. I got acrylic just on top of my real nail bed (no nail tips) and she still charged me $60. $60?!?!? And she hella rushed me at the end bc she had another customer waiting.. she did 1 top coat at the end and didn't even let the UV light finish the whole 60 seconds. So after I got my toes done I demanded a 2nd coat and it turned out ok. I had my toes done too, just regular boring white for $30. Given I worked out 3 times this week in enclosed shoes, they already chipped. Idk if it was from working out of just the shoddy job they did/terrible nail polish/etc. But whenever I go to my other nail lady my toes usually last 2+ weeks without major chipping. read more

I honestly don't know how this place has a good rating. Came here to remove my acrylics and get a manicure, it was one of the most painful acrylic removal i had. I honestly want my money back since it was terrible. He ruined my left pinky nail because of the way he removed the acrylic. I should've removed it on my own. He uses the nail nipper to cut the tip of my nail that blended in with the acrylic (it was painful), and used the artificial nail's tip to pop out the acrylic which was the most painful part. I honestly never encountered that removal method. The manicure was mediocre as well. I didn't get the guy's name who did my nails but he didn't file and shaped my nails properly. I felt scammed, and want my money back. What a waste of 25$. read more

4/7/18 - still 4/5 stars. made a same day appointment for Henry at 3 & it was easy, there wasn't too much business for a saturday. I needed to get my nails done for the next weekend and needed them to be nice! I got acrylic gel coffin shape w a cute baby pink color (4 coats, #79) for $40 plus $8 too (bc idk how to calculate tip), I wanted them short but i got them a bit longer than i wanted, my left hand nails are shorter than my right so i have to file them myself since they are closed on Sundays.. Always compare nails next to each other before you leave! Watching Henry was like watching an artist work on his masterpiece, it was cool. Not to be insensitive or anything to Donna's situation but I called to book an appointment yesterday with Donna and she informed me that she was off and would be returning today and scheduled me in for an 11 appointment. I've been calling her since 11 am because I showed up to the salon and was informed she may not be coming in. I also sent her a text just to verify and she never responded to me at all. I think it's super unprofessional for a business owner to do a no call no show and I do understand things happen and people have lives outside of work but the least she could've done was let me know she wasn't going to be available. Do not recommend Donna as someone to book with based off of poor communication skills with her customers. read more

I went to a few salons in and out of the city to find that "GO-TO" salon, and well, THIS IS THE SPOT - 7 NAIL SPA! I got my nails done TWICE by Henry! He does a clean and THOROUGH job. He also takes his time to make sure your nails look good and that you leave satisfied! He's very friendly and focused as well. OH MY GOODNESS! I have lived in the Bay Area little over a year now and had been in dier need of a new nail salon that was as good as mine back home, without charging an arm and a leg!! MANICURE: Firstly, do not be swayed by the small, weathered appearance of this spot: it is 100% worth your time. Secondly, This place is super affordable. I got a full acrylic set with gel polish on top and two accent nails with chrome finish. That was 35$ for the acrylic with gel polish, and an extra 5$ for the two chrome accent nails. I am very picky about the shape and length of my nails because I work on a computer all day. If my nails are too long or too sharp my work day becomes unbearable! Henry took everything I wanted into account, making sure along the way that I was getting exactly what I wanted. My manicure even looks nice today and it's been two weeks. I have to say, I am so impressed by this place, the service, the options, and the finished product that I will definitely make this my new spot. I will post an update when I get my first pedicure from them! UPDATE!!! PEDICURE: I've had several pedicures here now, and they do an excellent job. The cheapest pedicure on their menu is 25$ and that includes a hot stone massage, parafin wax dip, foot scrub, callus removal, calf massage with oil, and the regular cuticle cleanup, polish of your choice, and nail trimming. I heard great news about this place from a coworker. So I had to give it a try. I called in short notice around 9ish and they were able to accommodate me at 11:30. The place was pretty busy for a early Saturday morning. So my appointment didn't start until 12pm. Since it was my first time there I got one of the older ladies. She did a great work until... I went to 7 Nail Spa earlier last week (Thanksgiving Eve) to get gel nails redone and would say that the service and "finished" nail set quality were mediocre. While removing my previous gel nails, the nail technician was rough on my hands and did a poor job completely removing the previous gel coat and cleaning up my cuticles. There was still previous polish left over on parts of my nails when she started painting on the new set of polish, which was unevenly coated on. I also noticed a few small air bubbles after she finished putting on the top coat which was super disappointing because that's one of the main reasons why I get gel instead of regular polish. With that said, the gel manicure came out to $25 plus a $1 card fee. Given the lower price tag, I guess that's just the expected quality you'll receive. read more

Great value for money, but don't expect an upscale place. I came in an afternoon after work to get a pedicure, it was only about $20. They had a couple people getting pedicures, so I had to wait about an hour, it wasn't a big deal as I was enjoying sitting in the massage chair. Once he was able to get to my pedicure. It did feel a little rushed. For the hot stone he kinda just rubbed them quickly against my food and put them back not too much of a massaged, and my calluses on my feet were probably worse after he did the weird scrapy thing to them. But he did do a good job on the nails. and it was so well priced that I can't complain. Next time I'll try to get here at a less busy time, and see if service will be a little better. I came here for the first time because it's so close to my home, and was very disappointed with the service. The worker told me that the wait was around 30 minutes so I decided to wait. However, after 30 minutes, he gave me some colors to choose from and then continued to work on another client. Finally, after an hour, he helps me with my nails and was finished within 15 minutes. I was getting a gel manicure and although I'm not an expert, I'm pretty sure he did it incorrectly. He applied a clear coat and right after applied a thick coat of color to my nails and told me to put it in the UV light. When I went to wash my hands, almost all of my nails were smudging and one completely came off entirely. When I went back to show him, he told me to let him know which other nails he should fix. Shouldn't he see how much he messed up and just fix them? Instead of restarting the process, he started on a new client and then ran back to me and painted over another nail and told me to wait. After several nails and pointing out that my nails were uneven and chipped, I gave up and decided it wasn't going to get any better. When I went to pay, he said he was sorry that I had to wait this long and for the fact he didn't do a good job. However, he said come back next time and I will do a better job or come back tomorrow if you want me to fix anything. If he knew he did a poor job, why charge me full price and tell me to come back tomorrow for a fix?! I will definitely not be coming back. read more

I am giving this review a 3 star because 1 of the nail techs is great! She takes her time, doesn't cut corners and is very nice and sweet! She is the younger of the 2. The 2nd one is an older lady with glasses...she is lazy, cuts corners, does a horrible job with nails, isn't focused on the customer and is rude! I was taking to another customer who felt the same way, this older lady is so rude and lazy and the younger one with a rounded face is so nice and does a great job. In the middle of my pedicure, the older ladies stops and finished her own toe nails... and she didn't even use the hot towel or stones which comes included... I know she was upset when I left without tipping but she did a horrible job! If I return, I am not going back to that older lady!!! read more

So they have two locations and I normally go to the one on San Bruno ave, never really had a problem until covid... so basically I've been a loyal client of donnas before COVID ,during COVID,but as of aug 12th I'm done.... I've given her sooo many clients esp in this COVID time because she's been open, she also has kids to feed so why not right ?... welll let's see first off she raised her prices and the quality of work doesn't match... next like I said I've been coming here for a while, my last pedi looked liked my kids painted my toes, as soon as I noticed I sent her a picture and asked if I can come back just to get them re painted nooo answer yet... mind you I had a half ass pedi ,no water then finally got water and it was cold like I said I've been a loyal customer so I hung in there, no wax but charged $30 for a pedi .. why treat your customers like this? Greed and money especially in this time like come on.. straight bullshit .... the guy who works here smokes in the bathroom which is nasty and unsanitary, on top of all this I've never seen them clean or Lysol anything although they have the products on display for show,no lies ...Donna claims she has ocd but I have never seen her clean only spray ppl down with the spray bottle like that helps lol ... anyway ladies I found a new place that's open and their work is incredible hit me for the info do not waist $100 at this place ... not worth it ! read more

Just to clear things up, Kevin is currently the one and only manicurist that does acrylics here. There were previous manicurists that seem to have had some issues with customers, but they no longer work at the establishment. Hopefully this clears it up, since previous and earlier reviews may throw potential consumers off. I called in late afternoon for an emergency fill, color change, and to have the shape of my tips fixed. Kevin squeezed me in-between appointments, which I greatly appreciated. Kevin did a great job at a reasonable price and is extremely friendly, approachable, FUNNY, and good what he does. The rest of staff will do pedis and basic polish; they do a good job too. There's always something on TV to keep customers entertained. Parking is mostly metered; they'll help you fill your meter if needed.
