On my way to a campground in North Jersey I lost most of my braking ability, basically having to floor the brake pedal to come to a stop. Turns out a rear brake line rotted out and leaked a lot of fluid. Calling around local shops without a return call I finally got a hold of Rick at Portland Auto Repair and explained our situation. He showed up at my campground which was 20 minutes away to evaluate my truck. He needed to bring it back to the shop so the next day he and his employee came and drove my truck behind his vehicle back to the shop for repairs. The following day he returned to my campsite and picked me up. The repairs were done plus and after an hour I was driving back to my camping trip with a reliable tow vehicle again. Thanks goes out to all the guys in the shop for getting my vacation back on the road safely! And reasonably I may add.
