A to Z is your neigbhorhood U-Haul rental place as well as an auto center. I needed a truck with at least an 8-foot bed to transport a newly purchased couch but thought it might be a while before I can reserve one. Surprisingly, I was able to reserve one for the next day with a 4:45pm pick up time which was excellent! Please bare in mind, I wanted the rental for a weekend, Saturday to be specific. The day of pick-up was easy. The guy at the counter asked for my driver's license and credit card, explained some things and was out of there in less than 10 minutes! He was very pleasant, walked over to the rental truck, checked fuel level, and explained the return process since it was after the shop closes. The truck was very clean and brand new. It had less than 200 miles! The price was $19.95 for rental, $0.79/mile and $10 for insurance. It was a great deal for a quick 4-hour rental to pick up a new couch. The couch fit wonderfully on the bed (with some extra room which made it easy for unloading), and the best thing was, the bed was super clean! For a quick rental, I will definitely think of this place first and I might even come here for my automotive needs and maintenance as well because the staff were so nice. read more

I want to keep an open mind as the review were so good and the person I spoke on the phone (Seth?) while making the appointment was very nice and explained the process. I needed them to check my shocks and struts for replacement and verify if my ball joints are blown. The truck seems to bounce and be less stable. 2015 with 90k miles. When I got there a man was rude and curt and they evaluated the shocks still good. WRONG. I just went ahead and replaced the rear shocks myself and the original Ranchos were rusted and had oil cake on them. They were not good. They were weak and leaking. I felt like they just pushed my appointment through and didn't care about discussing my options. Well they lost several hundred dollars as I am going to replace the lower control arms with ball joints and strut assembles too. A little advice, every person or appointment is an opportunity. Don't be a jerk. That old dude at the desk didn't want to do his job that day. read more

tl;dr :: Straight up and very competent shop, no gimmicks. I've been a happy customer of theirs since 2007. Each visit generates a quick standard checklist of fluid levels, wear items, etcetera, and this is a no-cost item. They'll point things out, in case you've forgotten to attend to them, but there's no pressure. I've recommended them to friends and checked after they got their own rides serviced, and I've never gotten any negative feedback, only praise. They don't do the gimmicks like the big chains do, things like: Lifetime parts and labor. I was a little sad to see the 'ding' reviews here, that knock a star off their rating. But then I saw that two were related to the U-Haul end of the business. Now, I've rented trucks there twice without a hitch, pun intended, but I've also seen folks wait and stew, and I think it's down to U-Haul's bad booking software. A 'side-plus': if you're doing a while-you-wait service, there's a great little breakfast/lunch place called Yolklore, an easy walk on the same side of the street. Do not take your car here to be serviced. They will egregiously over-charge you for anything. I own a scion Tc 2009 and have never paid over $50.00 for a tire rotation and oil change. They charged $20.99 for my oil, $4.13 for shop supplies (which was fair), and 58.95 for labor (outrageous) with tax totaling $86.36. Save yourself the hassle and go with a business that's honest and fair, because these crooks aren't. read more

Some of the worst service I've ever had. Rented a U-haul here and I've never been met with such discontent employees, which is not my problem, and the worst, rudest, service I've ever experienced. During return and drop off, of the U-haul,4 employees saw me standing there, looked around and went to the back. Drop off: I had two employees both make eye contact with me, roll their eyes and sigh before asking if I had been helped. This was AFTER I had been standing there for 15 minutes and also asked if I could just drop it off, since I had to be at work at 5. At 4:45 I started to panic because I did not want to be late, I was told to wait my turn when I was the second person standing around, but had waited for now 30 minutes. WORST. PLACE.EVER. read more

The best U-HAUL dealer in the area! I have rented several trucks in the last year and I've dealt with several locations. The staff at A to Z Auto Center were great to work with. There was a chance my vehicle might not be available. They called me and upgraded me at no additinal cost. The truck was clean and well maintained. They offered all the extra services without being pushy. My vehicle was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. Check-out and check-in was quick so I could get on with my business. I used this location as my uHaul drop off. I had used the app for previous dropoffs (at a different location) which is fine though you do a lot of work. This place on Watson Road is terrible. Worker's attitude stink. Rolled eyes and looked away few times. Kept me and my friend waiting. We are deaf. Instead of finishing up with us, although I've tried my best to communicate with them, they have decided to let another person behind us get in front of us to talk with them. Been going here a while and what once was good business is no longer. Made an appointment to have an inspection done, tires installed and engine code corrected. Ended up bringing the truck there early because of an emergency. Talked with Jeff, told him what I wanted to have done and left to the hospital. 2 days later I get a call from Larry the owner saying that they don't know what I want to have done, there are parts in the truck that they don't have time to install and to call back. Called back and once again explained what I wanted to have done. Picked the truck up after getting a text from them saying it was done and that they did not do an inspection due to other work needing to be done. Too many auto shop in the area to go to this one. read more

I used to love these guys because they are cheap and get the job done, but now I can't find anything nice to say. I took my car in to get checked out two weeks ago and they told me what was wrong with it: $500 repair that needed to be done immediately and a $1300 repair for air conditioning that could be done whenever. After Larry called and gave me the quote, I told him I would call him back with my decision. I called back about 15 minutes later and asked for Larry but he was busy, so I left a message with the guy who called and told him to go ahead with the $500 repair. After not hearing back for a week, I called and was told that no one had ever heard from me so they hadn't done anything. You would think after not hearing from someone for a week, you would call back. Anyway, I told them to get it done over the weekend. I called back on Monday (today) and told them I would be picking my car up, and asked how much the bill would be. To my surprise, it was $1800. They had done BOTH repairs when I had told them I only wanted one. On top of that, NO ONE apologized and Larry spoke to me like I was a 10 year old girl: "Well, I told you to have your dad call me so that I could explain everything to him originally"... Apparently I am not competent enough to make my own decisions. He told me that no one remembered talking to me and that he didn't know what to say, I had to pay because the work was done. This was a HUGE amount of money to fork out when I was expecting a $500 bill. I am so frustrated after this entire experience, but most upset about how I was treated in the end. I would NOT recommend A to Z Auto Center to my worst enemy. read more

Great auto repair service. They know what they are doing and they do not recommend services you do not need. I have used them since 2011 but recently left them due to buying a vehicle from a dealer that said I would have a lifetime warranty provided I had all my service work done there. So when I had a check engine light come on the dealer said it was not covered. Told the dealer to get lost and came back to these guys. Thanks for fitting me in on such short notice. read more

Great experience at A to Z. I went in expecting a major problem with my car. It turned out to be a simple and inexpensive fix. Jeff was informative and easy to work with. I always worry that I'll be sold unnecessary services when taking a car in and I'm happy to report that didn't happen. This was my second time at A to Z and I'll certainly be back! My car broke down at the start of Labor Day Week-end . ARGH! Larry and his crew went out of their way to help me out. I couldn't get an appt until Tues but they set me up so I could drive over the weekend. On Tues, I took my car in at 11 am and picked it up at noon. How efficient is that?
