The convenience store isn't the cheapest in the world but it's fair for being so far off the beaten path.

It was actually multiple locations in one as it looked like they had a separate bar area. They had multiple TVs in the part that we were sitting in which was great so I could watch a little bit of football and baseball. There was lots of sports memorabilia around on the walls. We had to wait about 35 minutes for our table but that was not too bad and it was worth the wait because the food was delicious. I started with a bowl of crab soup which wasn't too big but just the right size. They brought out rolls and the rolls were good and just the right size. I then had the jumbo lump crab cakes. They were really good but I wasn't expecting them to be a small as they were. I'm a connoisseur of crab cakes and I go all around the area to try the best and though these were jumbo lump with no filler, I expected them to be quite a bit larger. That's probably the only negative of the evening. I contemplated dessert but I was pretty full. My date got the crab dip which was really big and looked really good and the steak quesadillas. She said everything tasted delicious. Our server was fantastic and she took care of all of our needs and kept checking on us regularly. In the future I will make a reservation so that we aren't waiting but overall everything went really well and I highly recommend a visit here.

We sat in the sports memorabilia room; the room next to us was decorated with historic Maryland photos. They had a good crowd. They have a nice tap menu. We had the ribs with fries and French onion soup and a Caesar wrap. We would definitely come back.

We arrived and waited just a couple minutes to place our orders and pay for our meal. The hostess seated us immediately and our server got our drink orders and brought our drinks and appetizers. The apples and apple butter were great and those sugar rolls were amazing. I ate 5 of those sugar rolls and they were so delicious we had to order more. I had a special with a 6 oz broiled crab cake and two pieces of fried chicken. The crab cake was jumbo lump and the fried chicken was on point and the way I remembered it. With it they gave us green beans, corn and French fries which were all delicious. My friend got the fried chicken but she got white meat chicken which they provided two full huge breasts and a wing. I opted for dark meat with my crab cake and got a leg and a thigh. It was absolutely delicious and our server, April, was fantastic and took care of all of our needs. My friend who goes there frequently says that she's had April before and she is just super efficient and takes care of all of the needs as she did last night. I opted to get moose tracks for my ice cream last night and it was outstanding although I'm not sure how I was able to eat the ice cream after everything else I ate last night. This is a great restaurant and I look forward to going back sooner than 20 years so that I can experience such a great meal again. I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try it's an experience you don't want to miss.

Fried oysters 10/10: I'm more of a raw oyster gal but wow, these fried oysters were consistent in size. I found them to be super tasty. My family member got the fried shrimp and I do think that tops what I got. Very country, home, cozy vibes here.

The cappuccino was over 12 ounces and not the traditional 5-6. The cortado was alright. Definitely more of a Starbucks approach to espresso drinks, rather than a classic approach. Our son is 1, and they said they had a play area for kids, which really intrigued us. The place is adorable. It's super cozy with different seating areas throughout. We ordered wine, the peppered buffalo flatbread, the figscuitto flatbread, and on order of the pretzel sticks with beer cheese. We went upstairs to where the kids area was. The space was AWESOME for parents! It had a little room with tables next to a playroom for kids. It was honestly a dream. They brought up our wine and food pretty quickly. I can honestly say the beer cheese was the best cheese dip I've ever had. And I've had a lot. The flatbreads were great, too. We ended up ordering an iced caramel latte to go and it was a delight! Service was wonderful. I found pricing to be okay, a little expensive for a small pour of wine. I really wish they had a kids menu. Just a few options. Especially if you've invested in such a great space to bring them along. I also would loooove that cheese dip on a flatbread or sandwich. It was killer. We will be back!
