The convenience store isn't the cheapest in the world but it's fair for being so far off the beaten path.

It was actually multiple locations in one as it looked like they had a separate bar area. They had multiple TVs in the part that we were sitting in which was great so I could watch a little bit of football and baseball. There was lots of sports memorabilia around on the walls. We had to wait about 35 minutes for our table but that was not too bad and it was worth the wait because the food was delicious. I started with a bowl of crab soup which wasn't too big but just the right size. They brought out rolls and the rolls were good and just the right size. I then had the jumbo lump crab cakes. They were really good but I wasn't expecting them to be a small as they were. I'm a connoisseur of crab cakes and I go all around the area to try the best and though these were jumbo lump with no filler, I expected them to be quite a bit larger. That's probably the only negative of the evening. I contemplated dessert but I was pretty full. My date got the crab dip which was really big and looked really good and the steak quesadillas. She said everything tasted delicious. Our server was fantastic and she took care of all of our needs and kept checking on us regularly. In the future I will make a reservation so that we aren't waiting but overall everything went really well and I highly recommend a visit here.

We sat in the sports memorabilia room; the room next to us was decorated with historic Maryland photos. They had a good crowd. They have a nice tap menu. We had the ribs with fries and French onion soup and a Caesar wrap. We would definitely come back.

The restaurant itself feels a little like a nursing home cafeteria. You order and pay on your way in. We chose the chicken tenders, roast beef and strip steak. Once you sit, they bring some of the sides and take drink orders. The sugar rolls are good, but I didn't really want any of the other starter sides - apple butter, cottage cheese, Cole slaw. I did try them just in case they were surprisingly good, but they were just meh. The chicken tenders look hand breaded but were a little dry and under seasoned. The roast beef was literally swimming in gravy. The flavor was fine, but for the price ($26), there are a million meals I enjoy more. Daughter enjoyed her strip steak but it also has zero seasoning. The main sides were buttered corn, fries and green beans. These were all edible but meh. The ice cream is Hersheys and they have a lot of flavors including unusual ones. The almond joy ice cream was my favorite part of the meal. We were also able to bring in a cake and they sliced and served it, which was very nice! We had 20 people across two tables and service is friendly and efficient. You pay the gratuity on the way in.
