Alex came after we reported a failed bathroom fan to our home warranty - he opened it - took three pictures of the ancient fan and dismissed it as failing due to being "painted over". It was installed and painted like every fan in a development- and is obviously the same fan that was originally installed. To claim it failed twenty years or so AFTER being painted over does not make sense. It seems Alex found it easier to dismiss and generate a denial than to work at his job. I don't know if this company sells denials to home warranties like America First - but would you trust them in your house? Sent by my home appliance warranty company (First American) to fix GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) issues with the pool lights. Confirming the guy name "Alex" [[HIGHLIGHT]]He literally spend less than 5 mins and told me he will send the request to insurance for approval and left.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He told me GFCI was tripping which we already know. To troubleshoot GFCI issues for pool lights, he must follow a methodical process to identify the source of the electrical fault which he did not. Waste of time & money! read more

Would highly recommend Wisdom Electric! My wife and I moved into our condo about a week and a half ago, and have been experiencing flickering lights in three of our rooms. We scheduled an appointment with our Home Warranty, and Alex called within 2 hours, and agreed to come out the same day during a window in between other appointments he had. Wrong report was sent to the insurance so they denied the claim. We should have checked the reviews before agreeing with the insurance to work with this contractor. We asked to replace our switches from touch / dimmer to just manual switch bec light turns on automaticall / light flickers and the electrician reported the issue was with the light and not the switch. How can you tell that the issue was the light when he did not even tested the lights? We have a toddler and the wire was left open as he get something from outside. Also, he didnt clean the dirt left when he opened the switches. He did changed the other switch from touch to manual switch so idk why he put the issue on the light. Yes, hit or miss. Long story short. Unprofessional. Alex barely spoke English (I'm not against that until he lied to my warranty company on his report). His report didn't match what we discussed in the house. He also dirtied my 2nd floor because he didn't wear shoe wraps AND my white ceiling by leaving stains all over it. He was not careful when taking his ladder upstairs and bumped it all over my white walls. The best part? He shocked himself because he seems a bit inexperienced for his age.. oh yea, he also didn't fix my issue. If AHS assigned them to you, request some other company. read more

We had an outage throughout the west valley last week and our outlet no longer was working, nor was the reset/start. Our home warranty assigned us to Wisdom. Alex was able to diagnose and fix a tricky electrical problem we were having. He's also very nice and personable.

I had a handyman install a GFI outlet in our bathroom and the power shorted on one side of the house. He couldn't figure out what was wrong. So I called A Wisdom Electric and Alex diagnosed the issue and brought power back to the house. He even looked at the wiring in the other three bedrooms and quickly made adjustments to the outlets to insure they were properly wired. It's a hit and miss. In my case, it's a missed. Alex told my tenants the ceiling fan was broken and he will work with company to replace it. Then, he reported that the fan was broken because of my tenants broke it. My tenants have been staying there for 9 years, never had issues with them. The fan was 12 years old. There are 4 ceiling fans at the house. One of them breaks. I ended up paying $70 home warranty for nothing. I have another guy coming in charging me $100 for labor and I can pick any ceiling fan that I like. With this reason, I don't recommend this company. Additionally, I don't recommend any home warranty brand. It's just a patch with low quality work and equipment. I found myself working with each individual contractors on the area they expertise are A LOT BETTER. read more

American Home Shield sent this company to try and fix my ceiling fans. I wasn't too impressed with their work. My personal opinion is they dont seem to have employees with experience. The guy came and wasn't here no more than mins and couldn't fix the issue. Left said he'll need to make some calls and its been a week now and I haven't heard from anyone for an update. I made a call to my local electrician company they came the next day and fix the issue in 15 mins. So I would recommend going with a company that is a bit more professional and takes pride in their work and customers satisfaction. I don't know how home warranty still allows this guy to perform work for them. Came here made up some excuses why my whole house fan motor burned out and got my claimed denied. Called a electrician friend explained the noise it was making and how if I were to spin the blades then it would start working. I went through my homeowners insurance AHS to have a technician come for an electrical issue. Originally they were not going to be able to come until next week and I was dying because I really needed someone sooner. Alex called me and was able to accommodate services for Friday afternoon.
