After reading the reviews, I was worried. Very worried but since the home warranty company assigned it, I had no choice. I was pleasantly surprised by how efficiently Gerardo fixed the leak. He quickly identified the source of the leak without needing to cut into the drywall. Gerardo took the time to show me the problem and showed me the new parts to compare to the deteriorated old parts that caused the problem. 7/23: No resolution; Same Issue; costed me more money for second visit. Do not use Fidelity or A1 Phoenix 7/16/25 Pending update; seems it between Fidelity home warranty and A1 to resolve. Original Post: Complete joke. Worked with Fidelity to get issues fixed. They sent out A1 Phoenix. He didn't do anything to check the two toilets, I stated that the anytime I use the restroom, it doesn't flush and rises and lowers but everything stays in the bowl. The time he came I plunged the toilet to get rid of the stool in there but seems to be my mistake. He did nothing other than flush a toilet that was recently plunged and now I'm out of money because he told Fidelity nothing was wrong on both toilets. It was not surprising to see the reviews here for this business. Still the same issue with my toilet and have to flush every time to get anything down. read more

Called A1 based on a request I submitted to Fidelity National Home Warranty. The A1 representative was pleasant on the phone but could not dispatch anyone until the following week. Based on Yelp reviews I decided to eat the $100 paid to Fidelity and called another local plumber who is sending someone today. I'm sensing many of the issues are equally or more with Fidelity and other home warranty companies. read more

I was pleasantly surprised given the reviews on here, so I thought I'd add my experience as I was worried it was gonna be terrible after perusing Yelp. Service was pretty smooth from start to finish. My realtor gifted me a home warranty so this was just the contracted provider. I was having issues with my garbage disposal and the person who set up the appointment was super friendly and helpful. They weren't able to get me in for about a week, but that was fine with me. If I had more flexibility with my own schedule it probably could've been sooner. Eduard was my technician and he was very professional, friendly and fast. My new garbage disposal seems to be working well and hopefully there won't be any issues! 0 stars!! Like many of the previous reviews do not use this plumbing co if AHS dispatches you to them!!! They had to change our appt and then when the plumber arrived told us our kitchen faucet was not torn due to normal wear & tear and looks like a clean cut. Wtf?? Why would we cut the hose and create a flood in the kitchen, living room, and hallways? The faucet/hose are clearly super old and worn out. So because of the report, AHS will not cover this and would have to pay out of pocket over $400!! Scammers!! They just want you to have to pay the cost so they don't have to go through the home warranty. Don't trust this company at all!! Absolutely DO NOT recommend!! Horrible service! read more

Company is a scam. American Home Shield (warranty company) dispatched A1. When I received the quote for the work to be performed it included many items. It required. When I first contacted A1 they said items were required per city code. Little did they know I had a city inspect the week before and the water heater as it is now is to code. Note I do not currently have the items A1 said are required and when I contacted them again and made the aware, the representative said it's for materials to which I explained they aren't needed per code (which I looked up) and told them the city inspector said the items aren't required. The representative said they would contact the plumber who came so they would review the quote and to this day nobody has followed up. It's been 3 months. STAY AWAY FROM A1 PLUMBING read more

Search further for a plumber! My rental house needed a snake slope downhill from the house to the street to clear the sewage pipes which were backed up. They call from my house and quote me $400! I said what do you charge per hour and he says $225! My German car mechanic is much less than that. They weren't even there an hour and a half. They are a total rip off. I signed up with a Furnace service company since then for $240 a year to care for my furnace and they throw in one sewage pipe clearing per year for free! Wish I had known to call them instead of A1 Phoenix Plumbing. Stay clear of A1. read more

Do not use this company! They are scammers and wanted us to wait two- three weeks for a water line under sink. In the mean time the link Continues. He said if he changes the faucet for $250.00 that will take care of the leak and $50.00 for the water line. I have home warranty that should cover this but he wanted us to go directly through his company because warranty doesn't pay them enough ( not my problem) I see why they have 2.5 stars, should be 1 or no stars! Horrible experience. American Home Shied (AHS) assigned this company for tankless water heater job. When arrived, the first thing the technician said is that I need to replace entire unit. Not even trying ANYTHING(!). Not even reading computer codes, not even runnings tests, or doing basic analysis. He said that error code should be visible on the monitor - which is not the case, you need to go into the "test" mode and errors are easily visible then. He then literary left without much explanation saying that he will inform AHS that he was here... Strongly do not recommend! read more

They left my gas off, so our heater has not worked for three weeks and we're still freezing. They left a mess in my basement. The new water heater is so small I run out of water after 3 minutes in the shower. They did not clean the vents properly and when I called to get help they hung up on me thrice! read more
