Replaced my siding without using any flashing, rain leaked right into my home. When we told them, they lied to me saying they didn't remove the window surrounds. Acted very surprised when I showed them the pictures I had with my window surrounds off (while they were working). Came out to "make it right, even though we didn't cause it". The new flashing fixed the leak they created. After that it took 3 of their very nice guys guessing how to fix the damaged drywall to make my bedroom drywall look like sloppy adobe. At least I was able to get them to fix the leak and repaint the repairs so that they blend...or it would be one star. read more

We hired Frank Jewett in May to replace our windows and doors. The reason why I haven't written a review is because 5 stars couldn't do his work justice and we hired them for our kitchen renovation, complete electrical rewiring and more windows/doors... which is still on-going. We purchased our windows/doors from a different shop who had recommended an installer. But after some unpleasant experiences with the installer, we were looking for someone else. Frank responded to my inquiry and said "we don't normally just do installation since we also sell windows/doors" but since our project was big enough he would take it. I knew it was true since some other window sellers just told me flat no. He was up and front telling us his price was going to be a bit higher since we didn't buy windows/doors from him. We completely understood and appreciated his honesty. Frank Payton, the general contractor sent his team to our house and replaced 10 windows/doors in a week. The workmanship was amazing. Armando, the main guy was an artist. Having been in renovation since February and in constant argument with our other GC on quality, this was so refreshing. For the first time, we felt that we were in good hands. During one of the casual conversation we found out Frank P is a full service GC not just windows specialist as Yelp categorized. When our bathroom renovation got bogged dow\\\\, we asked if Frank is interested in bidding our kitchen. That was the best decision we made during our 9 month renovation project. When Frank said Armando would be installing our kitchen cabinets, we were sold! We have an 80+ year-old house, walls, floors and ceiling are all crooked. They had to fur out existing plaster walls to level with the new drywalls, re-float the ceiling to meet with the crown moulding. Frank P never charged us extra. This is a long review but here is a summary: 1. If you need general construction service including windows and doors, Frank and Frank are your guys. Don't look further because you can't find anyone as good. 2. Both Franks are such good people to work with. During construction, whatever you want, Frank P's answer is always "no problem", "we will make it work". 3. Frank's crew is superb. The workmanship is unmatched. They don't just do the work as most of the contractors you get. Frank's subcontractors are excellent as well. When we had an issue with our countertop fabricator, Frank P recommended Ascencion from JV Titanium who did a fantastic job on our kitchen countertop, he even reset our master bathroom countertop with no charge. We will be hiring him to do our kitchen island. The issue with Frank is that I can't think of what else we could ask Frank to do. After windows/doors, we hired Frank to do kitchen, then electrical rewiring, maybe hardware floors, exterior painting... It goes on and on. I wish we could start over and hire Frank to do our entire renovation. read more

This is a long delayed review but Frank came out back in 2018 to help us with hundreds of windows for this 44 unit apartment complex. They did a great job getting everything right. We got these double paned, argon gas filled, low e windows that have vents and have done wonders for the noise level and insulation for our residents here. We've since increased our energy star score from 47 to 93 but these windows we got from Frank were solid, practical, mid priced and very functional. They have made the quality of our residents lives improve drastically. read more

Frank and his group are the bomb! Frank came to my home, measured the very large custom window, (over 12 feet long) and explained the cost and the entire process to me. This took awhile! and he did not rush anything and answered all of my questions. I felt so comfortable with the process even though I had never done anything like this before. When the window arrived and my guy went to pick it up, Frank and his guy unwrapped most of the window and took it apart (it has 3 panels) and made sure it all was going to be safe for the ride home. Oh my god! They did an amazing job. We had 11 windows replaced to reduce the noise from two highways. Three of them Milgard Quietline with which I am incredibly happy. The silence is unbelievable. During the project they were very responsive to my questions, requests for different estimates. I was looking to get a custom storm door with doggy door installed on an existing patio door. Frank was wonderful to work with and he helped me understand my options for the storm door. He was very detail-oriented and communicative throughout the process. The storm door was installed last week, and I am thrilled with it! It's a beautiful door that fits perfectly. There were different options for the doggy door, and it's perfect for my dog! The two people who installed the door did a very thorough job and paid attention to detail. They made sure to do a full walkthrough of the door and its features before leaving. While the storm door is outside the house, they even made sure to clean up the outside area afterward.
