This place is deserving of all the 5 star ratings. This is my new go-to place for Smog Checks by a Star Certified place. I called before to see if it was busy or not. This way I was able to drive in and get my car tested right away. The guy there was super friendly and the smog check took about 10-15 minutes. Super quick and easy! I called 3 other places and their prices were higher than this place. The original cost is $50 out the door, but with the Yelp check in, I paid $45 out the door. Also, the waiting area has lots of seating and very open air, so I was very comfortable waiting for my car. read more

My wife was here not long ago. She had a really good expedites so I decided to bring my truck in. Ali was super quick. He was finishing up one car and jumped right on mine. He was working on my truck within about two minutes of me arriving. I arrived at 1:32 and was done at 1:45. I was in and out in 13 minutes. I would highly recommend A1. read more

Solid smog testing place. I reached out via yelp before I showed up to get a quote. Fortunately, the quote via Yelp was a bit cheaper, so i would recommend reaching out beforehand. I drove up to the place, which is very small and would be hard to find parking if there were multiple cars there. Fortunately, I was the only one who was there at the time. You sign a piece of paper and then end up waiting for 15 minutes. The waiting area was pretty messy and uninviting, but the process is so quick that I didnt mind. After running my car and putting it in the system, it passed. You can use card or cash also. Since theres only one person working this place, it can be a wait if there are people in front of you, but you can always call ahead of time to see what the wait is. The person helping is very nice and professional, so overall it was a good experience. read more

Quick 15 minute smog check. Offers $40 deal for yelp check ins. This includes the service and certificate! Waiting area is open to air which is good during this pandemic. I saw the employees had wipes and hand sanitizers as well. Overall no complaints. I was able to drive up and get my smog check. Owner seemed friendly both in person and through yelp messaging. We received the smog but the tech did not honor the price. When I reached out to Mohammed who quoted me, he did offer to give me a full refund. He was definitely responsive but I did not want a free service, was just annoyed they didn't honor the price while my child was there and I couldn't intervene while I was at work. All in all, I would recommend, just make sure to confirm price ahead of time! read more

He told me that **half** would be credited, meaning $100, which I felt was fair. Based on that, I expected something close to the following: * Diagnostic: $200 ($100 credited) * Labor: $200 (install time is .9 hrs + 1 hr diagnostic) * O2 Sensor: $179 (the same OEM part costs $59.98 at any auto parts store) Brian then quoted me **$579 total**. When I asked about the previously mentioned diagnostic credit, he declined to honor it. I also asked if I could bring in my own part. That's when things really went downhill--and honestly, I wouldn't have posted this review if it weren't for what he said next. I haven't even been to this shop yet and I'm already getting a good feeling about this place. It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. I'll update this review once I get the car in for my first visit. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

Mr. Kim, John, his son that runs the day to day, Mike, Mario and Mr. Han are the most professional, honest and nicest people you'll ever meet. It gets busy there and I've noticed some reviews of rudeness and impatience. I've never ever experienced such. I'm certain, in those instances, the shop was full and those dissatisfied people did not have the patience. Guaranteed that if you're the first one there in the morning, their attentiveness is spot-on. John runs an extremely professional, honest business and I fully recommend them to anyone needing any sort of automotive service. They are highly rated and have been in business a very long time. Again, just make sure you get there early. They are always busy for a reason.

Amazing shop! I took my 2004 g35 here and wow, fast and excellent service, I was in and out with in 15 min, Ali (the owner) welcomed me as I pulled in and took care of everything for me, and had me out with in 15 MINUTES! I would highly recommend this spot if you need your smog done read more

Arrived during weekday around noon, and no waiting line in front of me. The staff treat the clients friendly although he didn't talked too much. Finished the smog check quick and easy as what I expected. Will recommend this place to my neighbor for sure. read more
