I went in today for the first time. I was greeted promptly and my car was up on a rack being diagnosed in under 5 min. Bank 1 on my bmw shows a bad catalytic converter. There was a rattle near the rear cat. Steve explained pieces of the front cat had fallen out and worked their way to the rear. He drilled a whole in the pipe, and took twenty minutes to fish all the pieces out with a wire and vacume, and welded the hole closed. At least the rattle is gone!! All told the company spent 30min. How much? FREE!!! Now comes the part which screams integrity. I assumed the nice treatment was to get a very expensive repair job for the bad cat. Last thing Steve does is give me a written contact note of a shop which may be able to fix is as "it's more of a nuts and bolts job which we don't always do". 100% integrity, duty to care, and great service!! These guys are great. Bought a new catalytic converter and exhaust system for my truck a few months ago and it's been running great and sounds awesome. An issue came up that I was able to pin point to the cat, however it wasn't an issue because of the cat they installed, an outside issue had caused a premature failure. Went in this past weekend to get a single chamber Flowmaster on my 89 Jeep it was the best experience I have had at a muffler shop I could have given the job to another shop but I wanted to try this shop out since my Snap-On distributor recommended me here I thought I would try it out. This is the third exhaust system that A1A has installed for me. Their work is guaranteed! First they give you some options put the vehicle on the lift take the old muffler out then let you get in jack it back up and let you sound test mufflers till you find one you like. And to top it all off their prices are the lowest I've ever seen!!! JoJo the owner has been doing this since high school and is very knowledgeable about anything exhaust related. This will be the place I take every one of my vehicles from now on, that being said let me tell you about my experience. Decided to stop by to ask questions about mufflers and etc with no appointment and both the wonderful ladies in the office were super super helpful. They asked Joe to look at my vehicle in between spots and he did " I was Shocked " that just doesn't happen in the normal world, he tried three different mufflers while I was in the Jeep to listen for the sound I wanted. What a great shop! Had a custom exhaust put on my S5 and could not be happier with it. It sounds fantastic and I'm glad I went this route as opposed a $1500+ pre fabricated exhaust. Gary was very helpful, he had me come into the shop so we could look at the undercarriage of the car so I could decide what kind of setup I wanted to go with. Ultimately we went with an x-pipe followed by 2.5" piping to magna flow race mufflers and the sound it phenomenal. When I picked the car up the tips weren't placed exactly how I wanted them to, so without hesitation Gary went ahead and made them sit exactly how I wanted them to. I highly recommend this shop and know I will be back very soon to throw on some bigger quad tips. read more

I thought my van had a clogged catalytic converter - they got it in right away on a Friday afternoon, did a pressure test to figure out which one it was, gave me a very reasonable quote, and then did the work for me on a Saturday, even calling to give me an update when it wasn't quite finished on time (not a problem since I didn't need it until closer to the end of the day anyway). We have a business that uses a handful of trucks. So far three of them have been worked on by A1A. Good service and a fair price every time. But the best part is with one of the vans there's a problem with the muffler that they installed. Not really their fault manufactures defect in my opinion. They cut the defective muffler out and replaced it with a performance muffler. No charge and my employee was on the road inside of hour. And the van sounds great. It takes a lot to keep service vehicles on the road so we'll be back. read more

This will be the first time I've ever done an update. Here I am two years later with my car now 34 years old. It failed the smog due to a bad catalytic converter. I recently had A1A install dual exhaust on my Camaro. Very good experience. Recommendable.

My Dodge Durango had 2 exhaust manifold bolts snap off in the cylinder head. Some shops i contacted said they would not even attempt to extract these bolts. Can't blame them. I know this is not an easy job. Got the work done at A!A Performance Muffler for a fair price. Work was completed in less than a day. And they called when the car was ready! I just had to get my muffler tightened up as it kept dragging underneath my old '92 Itasca Phasar, and they got me in and fixed it up within a couple hours for a great price.
