Awhile ago my rear view mirror fell off, taking a chunk of glass from the inside of the windshield with it. Seeing the very complimentary reviews from other Yelpers, I brought my car here to have them take a look. Was greeted warmly, and there was nice complimentary coffee in the waiting room. In the end, they glued it back on without charging a penny; I was out and on my way barely 20 minutes after I had arrived. I had a rock hit my windshield, which left a pretty big star. It was probably the size of a nickel with two cracks extending outward about 1mm each. I first took my car into another repair shop where the guy looked at it for two seconds and said I would need the whole windshield replaced for $419. I called around to see if I could get a more reasonable price for replacement and A2 Auto Glass was the most reasonable price in town. I decided to take my car to them for them to assess the damage. Rick said he could fix it. In the meantime, I spoke with Amy who was very helpful and dealt with the insurance side of things. The repair was covered by insurance and I ultimately saved having to pay hundreds of dollars on a new windshield. I highly recommend A2 Auto Glass! read more

Received a stone chip in my windshield this morning on my way to work. Have used A-2 Auto Glass for full shield replacements in the past and been very happy with their service. This was the first time I've dealt with a chip. Called my insurance company who informed me that I did not need to file a claim for a chip, only a full replacement. So I called and spoke to Lynette, who said I had to start a claim regardless, so she called my insurance company and help me file the claim. Because I work within a few miles of their office she offered to have someone squeeze me in between other jobs. Rick just left, he was super friendly and had the repair finished before noon. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my A-2 Auto Glass experience, will definitely use them again and will recommend them when given the opportunity. read more

This is an absolutely incredible place! Excellent customer service with desks set up for customers to work while they wait with literally the nicest executive desk chair I've ever sat in, coffee available in the waiting area, and the customer service representatives were extremely gracious even assisting customers call insurance companies helping to break down an unfamiliar process to the general public. Very quick, seemingly reasonable cost. And accommodating. Dropped off a car during my lunch break to fix a window. I didn't shop around due to convenience, but prices seemed reasonable. They also gave me a ride back to work. They didn't manage to clean out every bit of glass, but I probably should have spent a little more time cleaning out my car prior to dropping it off. The only thing they didn't do was call me back when the car was done like they said they would. Despite this, they were able to fix a problem on very short notice, and do it well. read more

When my car was broken into and my passenger side front window shattered, I looked for a company that would come out to my house. A2 Auto Glass was professional and friendly on the phone and even though I was calling in the late afternoon, they were able to schedule an appointment the next day. They did indeed come to me, all the way to Ypsi, and the repairman was quick, courteous, and very efficient. He even vacuumed up all of the glass from inside my car! At 1:45 on a Friday afternoon, I received a phone call from my son whose windshield was hit and had a large crack spreading as he drove toward home from out of town. As he was supposed to leave town that same evening, I started calling to see if someone could fix it. With 30 minutes notice, Lynette (manager) got the new windshield delivered to them and got my son's care back on the road by 5:00. I have had 2 windshield replaced in the last 5 years. Both were done at this shop. Each time the car came out of the repair perfect. I am a car person and details matter to me. They got everything right. All the moldings line up perfectly, the glass sits flush where it should. They worked with the insurance and got everything ready. I must say they are very friendly and professional. I was surprised how quick they came out and fixed my passenger side window due to a weed eating accident. Lynette was able to answer all my questions and she kept her word. she said if they could make the time earlier to come to my house instead of my work they would call.
