I was so impressed with the quality of service, communication and professionalism of the team at A2B Movers and especially the crew (Max, Max and Vlad) who completed my move this past week. This is honestly the best moving experience I've ever had (and I've moved about 5 times in 7 years). It started with the quote process which was so seamless. They responded immediately to my request and were the only movers that were really clear and straightforward about pricing. There's a fixed fee per hour + a fuel surcharge. That's it. So straightforward! They've got a great online portal with built-in chat so it's easy to make changes and ask questions as well. I needed a custom certificate of insurance (COI) and had to reschedule my move multiple times and they handled all of that easily. Note that custom COIs are a little extra which makes sense because it requires legal review. Next up - loading. From the very beginning, I knew this crew was high quality. They had already done a few moves at my building so they knew how to operate here. They performed this heroic parking situation with a large truck and a narrow loading dock (and didn't even charge for the extra time!). They packed and loaded with ruthless efficiency - balancing being incredibly fast with also being extremely careful. They had packing tape, extra boxes, protective coverings, and dollies to make the process safe and quick. And I mean quick - less than 2 hours to load a large 1 bedroom packed with furniture and large items on the 7th floor of a large complex. Max, Max and Vlad had the natural comfort that comes with working closely together for a while and they knew how to work fast. Finally - the unloading. They were able to unload quickly and didn't waste time here either. They also offered to help arrange furniture and gave a couple great recommendations about how to fit stuff in the space. They were thoughtful and flexible and I appreciated their help! And all of my items were in perfect condition with zero issues. All in - just an incredible experience! I've used a couple other services in the past and I think Lugg is great for small moves but if you are looking for high quality, high value services for longer moves or with more fragile / larger items, this is the company to work with. This is the second time we've used A2B movers - first time was in June 2020. This time, we hired their team to do both our packing (of pretty much all our stuff) and our move. Given the size of our move was a bit larger than our previous move and we were also having A2B do our packing for us, we went with four movers instead of three. That said, even with an extra person the move itself took a total of 11.5 hours for a large 1 bedroom apartment (~1200 sq ft). I would highly recommend this team if you have done your packing yourself and just need to get your items moved from your old home to your new one! The pros: - Very easy booking process & friendly + flexible staff helping with booking - Clear pricing & no "extra charges" - Very friendly moving team - Very timely (movers arrived right on time day of the move) and were flexible with me when I asked to move the start time back by 30 mins - Movers worked very diligently and only took a break after packing & loading our old apartment even though it took many many hours - Easy & clear communication - When we thought an item was lost, they sent the movers who had done our packing back to our apartment to help us search for it The cons: - I would say their packing services are not the best - although they packed everything carefully, the process was very difficult to unpack because items were not well organized by room/location in the prior apartment & boxes were not well labeled (e.g. took us 4 days to find our cutlery in all the kitchen boxes). There were also items packed in strange boxes making us think things might be lost - e.g. we had an old portable washing machine that was already packed in a box, and the movers added a rug to the same box without labeling it so we thought the rug was lost for a few days & the movers didn't remember putting it there either. - The move duration estimate was a off this time around - we gave the company all the details of our old apartment, shared the fact that there were 3 flights of stairs in the old apartment + no elevator, and let them know we had not done any packing ahead of time. I expected the move to take maybe ~8-9 hours with four people (I also helped with packing 5-6 boxes), but it ended up taking 11.5 hours. read more

I had a wonderful experience with A2B Movers! They helped me successfully move out of a POD storage container and into my new apartment. The process was streamlined and stress free from the start. Jeff, who I spoke with on the phone, was very polite and listened to my situation and recommended the best options for what I needed. He offered me different price points for cash vs credit as well as a discounted rate if I moved on a weekday instead of the weekend. When I was ready to confirm, he helped set up my profile and get everything scheduled, making an extra note on the file for the movers to give me advance notice upon arriving to our pick up location. On the day of the move, Den and his team arrived right on time, and of course provided me the courtesy call in advance of arrival. They assessed the situation and estimated the move would take about 3 hours - which was great since that's the minimum I had to pay regardless. They loaded my items into their truck with care and made sure to point out any existing damage on my items, which I appreciated. My apartment unit was far from where we could park the truck, but the team was very patient and understanding of the long walk. They unloaded everything in great time and put it in the proper locations of my apartment which made unpacking a breeze. They assembled my furniture that needed reassembly and Den even repaired a vanity which had been broken by previous moving company. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the service. I cannot recommend A2B Movers highly enough! I've used them for two consecutive moves. I recently used their services to move from my San Francisco apartment to a storage facility in Richmond, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The team of Vlad, Alex, Eldar, and Arthur were absolutely phenomenal. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They showed up right on time and came prepared with all the necessary equipment and materials. What impressed me most was how carefully they handled all my belongings. I moved back in December and had contacted many moving companies for quotes. A2B movers had really reasonable rates and was super responsive to my questions. My HOA had a really strict window when movers could show up and A2B movers worked with me to make sure the movers would be at the location on time. I did have an issue the move in day because the office had accidentally sent two team to my location. I tried to figure out which team would be doing my move (and make sure the issue would be resolved with enough time to move out during my small window) but I had difficulty communicating with the movers because initially they didn't seem to speak English very well. However, they were able to sort it out amongst themselves and my move started, albeit half an hour or so late. Once the move started though everything was soooo smooth. I wanted to move some dedicate paintings using my car because I was afraid the paintings would break but the movers assured me that they could pack it and move it safety. The made quick work packing my paintings. They were also super proactive in seeing if I needed any additional help while I packed last minute things. They made it to the drop off location very quickly and unpacked everything in an orderly way. Everything arrived in perfect condition and despite the initial snafu, they finished before my 3 hour minimum was up. After 40+ years of living in SF, decided to pack it up and head for the burbs. Did a price comparison of several different companies and A2B provided the best price estimate while also maintaining one the best customer satisfaction ratings. The highly competent A2B crew assigned to my move was comprised of Michael (for booking & reservations) and a friendly team of three can-do movers: Nick, Daniel, & Alex who got the job done with precision and aplomb. This trio of moving specialists called ahead to let me know their arrival time and provided excellent communication through each and every stage of packing, loading up, transport, and unloading. Their job was was further complicated owing to the fact that my now previous apartment building is in a high traffic corridor and is also a four story walk-up with multiple winding staircases. The only glitch of the entire process was that it initially it wasn't made verbally clear that you, as the customer, are responsible for arranging the city approvals and truck parking permissions in your neighborhood. It would have been preferable and optimal to have been informed of this at the time of booking but everything got worked out with a phone call to Anastasia on moving day. All in all, my experience with A2B Movers was highly favorable. My move yesterday was fantastic. The crew arrived within the arrival window, asked all the right questions about items to take/items to stay, and they worked with the difficult parking situations at both apartments. They were the best movers I have ever had. They meticulously wrapped all of my furniture with plastic, blankets, padding, etc. and nothing was damaged. They worked quickly, they took just a few breaks (and were completely transparent when doing so), and asked questions to make sure they were placing things in the right spot. The best thing, though, was they figured out how to get my couch into my older building by taking it through a back gate, through landscaping, up and over a deck railing, and all the way through my apartment. I think 95% of movers in a similar situation would say there is nothing they can do and they would leave my couch on the curb! This crew was nice, friendly, and hard working. I enjoyed having them work in my old home and new home. The only issue I had was with the scheduling. They have a very easy online schedule tool and there is not a lot of back and forth to get an estimate which is ideal. I requested April 22 as my move day, the website told me it was available, and I got a confirmation email. However, I didn't notice that the date confirmed in my confirmation email was April 23. Pay attention to the date in the confirmation email and make sure the correct day is confirmed. read more

Highly recommend A2B! I booked them a couple weeks in advance of my move shortly after requesting a quote from the Yelp page. First, Walter was great in getting back to me so quickly, with a run down of the rates, logistics, and what's included. After making an official booking on their page, I received periodic emails for reminders about the moving appointment. On the day of my move, it was raining a good chunk of the time. However, the movers got to work with no hesitation. They also arrived within the time window I was quoted. Max, Paul, and Vova made the move out of my place look so effortless. Max also laid out the paperwork and broke it down very easily for me to understand. The 3 took great care in moving/unwrapping my goods, securing them with extra tape/packaging, and quickly loaded/unloaded my clothes into wardrobe boxes they provided. They were also really crafty in moving stuff to my new place when it came to using the stairs and elevators. I also liked that they asked where I wanted my things to be placed, especially the larger items. And yes, they all followed COVID protocols, wearing masks and such. A2B charges moves at a minimum of 3 hours worth, but the 3 were able to do so in a little less than that! A2B Movers Review After reading all the great reviews for A2B Movers, I went online to get a quote. I was replied to promptly by Vlad who is extremely friendly and patient while helping you to understand what is included with the cost of the move. He also provided me with a great estimate based on my needs. I arranged for a move on 5/16/22 and on the day of the move, Vitalii, Damir and Ali came on time and with smiles on their faces ready to work. They were extremely cordial and very hard workers who paid attention to detail. They used care in wrapping our furniture, including glass tables. They also kept reassuring us that everything would be able to fit in the truck, as they would be able to figure out how to puzzle everything in. They were indeed able to fit everything that I wanted and the 20' foot truck was filled to the brim! When we got to our new place there was absolutely no complaints about our unit being on the 2nd floor with no elevator. It was quite remarkable how they were able to bring everything up the stairs so quickly. I would 100% use this moving crew again without hesitation and I highly recommend A2B movers out of any movers I have ever used. They really made the moving process less stressful and we are truly grateful for their help! read more

Beka and Alex did a great job helping us move during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was obviously not ideal but our circumstances made it necessary. They were friendly, professional and wore masks and gloves the whole time (despite it being one of the hottest days of the year). We were moving from a 1 bedroom on the second floor to another second floor apartment about 15 minutes away. We did all the packing ourselves and had already moved most of the smaller boxes on our own, but needed professionals to help with the furniture and larger boxes. It took them 4 hours for the entire move, including wrapping all the furniture in plastic, disassembly and reassembly of some furniture, and navigating the narrow hallways and staircases of the buildings. We had been hoping to get it done in 3 hours (the company's minimum) for cost's sake but as it was our first time using movers we weren't sure how long everything would take. 4 hours seemed reasonable after seeing how hard Beka and Alex were working the whole time. I think I only saw them take 1 (much needed) water break for about 5 minutes. We also haven't noticed any damages to our things or the apartments. I was really impressed with their hustle and friendliness and would definitely use this company again! read more

I originally hired a moving company to help with my transfer to a new flat on the other side of GG Park. Long story short, I found out that moving company didn't actually hire and/or train their movers; they just found random people off the street and we were supposed to pay them cash in hand. I had JUST learned this the night before my move date, so I searched through Yelp and found A2B movers. THANK GOD for them! I called A2B the next morning (the day of the move) and spoke with David, who was very kind, attentive and professional with my needs. He said that he'd see what he could do, and would get back to me asap... and he did, within 10 minutes! Not only did he find movers for me, but they provided a moving truck, packing supplies AND repacked furniture that I had wrapped incorrectly. I hired 4 guys to do the job, and each on of these A2B movers were 1000% amazing: kind, professional, personable... they even called me "sir"! They're strong and experienced movers that had all of my things moved in, without any damages to my belongings and/or property. We made the right choice in going with A2B Movers. We asked for 3 movers and 1 truck to make things go a little faster. The crew we had was Max, Max, and Vlad. I would recommend asking for these guys. Why we liked them: - They were very polite and had great communication. - They asked for direction rather than just dropping our boxes and furniture where it was easiest for them. - They legit! put our boxes in the rooms they were labeled! There was even one box that we wanted to unpack first. Max found it and gave it to us immediately. - They unpacked our furniture and helped us set it where we thought it would go for at least the initial future. Example: Our patio furniture was wrapped in the factory covers for protection. Without being asked they unwrapped all of it and set it up without us realizing it. It was a nice touch. - They were unbelievably efficient! We had a 1 bedroom apartment in SF with lots of stairs. They got our boxes to the truck in under an hour and a half! - The movers were great with our furniture. They took apart some items to make an awkward turn out of our building, but put it all together in our new place and were very careful. You can't go wrong with A2B Movers.
