Aaron is awesome I'm really surprised that there's even a single bad review on this business. My house is an old Eckler style home with THE WORST sewage system you could ever imagine. I won't go into the details about it but it's a tricky plumbing situation. I had some other plumbing company come out and they couldn't fix my drain blockage after 2 hours and some outrageous quote to dig up my pipes. It was a nightmare. Aaron came out the same day about an hours after I called. He put an incredible amount of effort into unclogging it but it just wouldn't budge. He knew he needed to use a blow bag to punch it through but unfortunately Home Depot was already closed and he didn't have one on hand. He promised to come back the next morning (it was like 10pm) and fix it. Didn't ask for any payment either which I thought, wow this guy is super honorable, didn't ask for pay because he wanted to fix it first. Came back the next morning and had it cleared out easily in like 25 minutes. The experience Aaron has is invaluable. He knows his stuff and he's friendly. Old school style service where you feel like your uncle came over to fix your plumbing issue. I will NEVER call another plumber again. I had used this company in 2018 for a wateline issue. They did their job properly and timely. I thought I try them again for resolving a leaking toilet issue. The new owner, Aaron, did his job and hopefully done well. He needs to clean up his business end and timeliness. Each time a scheduled appointment was made there was always an excuse. It can be hours before he shows up. Proper payment options (eg. credit card) and cohesive paperwork is lacking. read more

This company provided me a great price for some much needed work at my house. They replaced a leaking shut off valve and replaced a water spout in the front of my house and even moved it up so I could research it better. They also replaced a sink and faucet in my kitchen. Since Aaron reached out to me, and seemed to want to make things right, I gave these guys another shot. In retrospect that was a huge mistake. Here's the timeline of what happened: - Aaron tells me they can do the job, and he will be handling it personally, with the help of a tech. - We arranged to have them come Saturday 12pm. Saturday 12pm comes, we get a message saying 2.30pm. 5pm comes, we get a a message saying we'll be there soon. Later I get a message saying it'll have to be Sunday at 11am. - Sunday comes, gets to 12pm, get a message saying sorry, we can come Monday, and we'll give you $400 off the original quoted price. I say fine, but it has to be Monday. I ask if the job can absolutely, definitely be completed on Monday, the answer is yes. So I agree again to have them come. - Monday comes, and they finally arrive. They shuffle some things around, and end up quoting me a way higher price than I was quoted originally. They say the $400 discount was applies to that higher price. In desperation, I say fine, let's just get it done, get it over with. They say great, we'll be back Wednesday. So much for getting the job done that day. - Wednesday comes, I get a message, he's sick so can't come. Fair enough, can't be helped. Ask him to let me know when we can reschedule. - I get a message the following Monday, saying they can be here Wednesday 12pm. Fine. Agreed, again, let's just get the job done. - Wednesday 12pm arrives. I get a message saying they're behind, they'll be there at 3pm. At 6pm, three people arrive. They don't even seem to know the details of the job, and they have none of the material needed to do the job. Aaron tells me he will be arriving soon with the material. - They begin the work of disconnecting the existing setup. They get done pretty quickly, and let me know they're waiting for Aaron to arrive with the material. From what I can gather, they're just 3 people he's subcontracted to do the work. Great, so much for taking care of it personally. - Aaron doesn't show up, so these guys literally just leave. I can't hold them here. Everything is disconnected. Entire section of pipe removed. Around 8pm, Aaron shows, with the material, and puts it in the garage. I assume he's going to be completing the job. But after some time, I get a shout that hey, we're leaving, the other guys are just getting some food and will be back to complete the job. - 9pm rolls around, and nobody has come back. We have no water on in the house. I text Aaron and he tells me he has no idea where the other guys are, he'll be coming back to fix the water. - 11pm, someone shows up to hook everything back up. It's not Aaron, no idea where he is. By 1am, the water is hooked back up. To his credit, the guy seems very competent and does a very professional job getting everything back up and working. I think it was Brian? Thank you, Brian, for giving up your evening to fix this problem for us. - I finally take a hint and actually decide to hire a different plumber. I'm just amazed at how much we were messed around here. My wife and I both have incredibly busy days full of meetings, and we've constantly been rescheduling everything to make this work -- only to have our water shut off twice, and be dealing with a totally different plumber every single time with absolutely no context of what the job is or how it will be done. Aaron seems nice enough in person, but I have no idea what kind of operation he's running. He seems to be subcontracting all of the work out, he or whoever he's subcontracting to can't keep appointments, and when they do, the work doesn't get completed and you end up in a worse state than when you started. Considering we got a promise to personally oversee this, and make everything right, I'm amazed we ended up getting a much higher estimate, many missed appointments, and half completed work that ended up with us barely getting our water back on by the end of the day. Twice. This is not how you run a business and gain the trust of your customers. Do yourself a favor and pick a different plumber. read more

I called these guys to do some pipe work. I gave them three chances rescheduling as their plumber called in sick. I tried to be understanding but All times were a no show and with the last reschedule, they did not show up or call for another reschedule. I since then called a different plumber who showed up the same day and did the work. I don't recommend these guys. read more

The good part is the customer rep Aaron S. did a wonderful job, very responsive. However, the person who went on to gave me the quote, a on-site plumber, gave me a quote of 800 - 1000 dollars for what another company later worked for 200 bucks. In addition, the on-site plumber mention investigation for estimate takes 400-500 bucks, and fixing it takes another 400-500 bucks yet didn't identify much of the problem. Zero stars. My mom had her mobile home repiped. Switched from pex to copper. Now we get horrible water pressure and when you use more then one faucet or shower it changes the temp. We had them come back out to look at what is going on and they said the guys to did the work did the hole back of the mobile home in the wrong size pipe. They put half inch copper pipe when it was sapossed to be 3/4. I cant believe these guys messed up like that. They have horrible customer service skills and no communication skills at all. I reached out to this company about installing a tankless water heater. The plumber told me the estimated price, and asked why we would want to replace a relatively new high-quality water heater by a tankless one. Without getting into too many details, the plumber suggested another solution, which doesn't involve installation. He concluded by saying "It's not that I don't want to do the job, I would love to do it. But if I am thinking about your best interest, you should probably first check out other solutions". I appreciate very much the way this company puts the client's interest first. They put themselves in the client's shoes and give a frank advise, and are ready to pass on a job. read more

The reviews looked great, but these guys were shady. I got a couple estimates to fix some pipe corrosion under the house. Other plumbers went under the house and took a look finding no leak. These guys just stuck their head down, didn't get under the house, shined a flashlight on a pipe 20 feet away, and determined it was leaking and needed $2k in repairs. Lol. They easily accommodated the time frame I was available and said they would send a crew out. They also were a little late but communicated it to me. We had a leaky kitchen faucet and they gave me a reasonable quote to replace and install the new kitchen faucet we purchased. They did a great job at removing the old faucet, installing the new one, and cleaning up. We will definitely use The Plumbing Guys again if we need anything else done. read more

Editing my review because of a misunderstanding. Sergio was courteous enough to call and explain something I had misinterpreted so I'm giving them the positive review they deserve. I was in contact with the owner, who was perfectly professional. He scheduled me for an immediate free estimate visit and same-day work for my clogged drain, which I appreciated. Two gentlemen (Sergio and another) came by yesterday and did a fast and thorough job of clearing the drain. I was a bit surprised by the price - $225 for only 15 minutes of work. But they did give me a yelp discount, so that was appreciated. Once the drain was clear, they showed me the bucket of debris that had caused the clog. Again, there was a misunderstanding on my part over something that occurred at the very end of the transaction. But Sergio called me to apologize and explain what had really happened. I really appreciate that he took the time to clarify. The work the gentlemen did was fast and well done and I'd recommend them to others for plumbing services. It's nice to have the clogged drain checked off my to-do list. read more

The work they do is good, they show up fast, but the prices they charge and the options they give are way beyond what you'd expect to pay! Two examples: 1. Had a broken PVC pipe in my sprinkler system, easy to see. Guy wanted $500 to dig out part of the system and replace a few other nearby pieces. A handyman just capped it for about $20. 2. Was having a bathroom sink handle leak. Dudes wanted $175 to replace the cartridge. Found the same one at OSH for about $35 and did it myself. read more

I highly recommend the Plumbing guys. They are very honest. Our sewer backed up on new year day :( and we called The Plumbing guys next day Morning. They managed to send Eric to our home that morning. (I called several plumbing company. The plumbing guys is the only one can send technician out ASAP) After inspection, Eric suggested us to call city Sanitation instead of spending $350 because the problem should be out of our property line and city sanitation should be responsible for that. I have to say that owner Aaron and technician Cesar were very responsive to my need to have a leak repaired quickly. I got an estimate within 12 hours of the request and Cesar even showed up early. He was kind, confident and felt comfortable with the project and did not overcharge me for the work that needed to be competed. We scheduled a day and Cesar and another worker arrived on time and finished the job sooner than he thought. They were clean, thorough and confident. They also recommended folks who could then come in and replace the damaged walls and I have them scheduled to do the work already. I feel like I can breathe a bit now. Finally, Super-Helpful, Friendly and Solution-Oriented Plumbing Specialists! I have had many disappointing experiences with plumbers until now. I had bathroom sink hardware that was not working and two plumbers told me that my only solution was to replace the sink entirely, including giving me unhelpful advice to put a vanity in a small bathroom. In contrast, The Plumbing Guys made this project so simple to fix! They removed my pedestal sink so we could wallpaper, then replaced the same sink with new hardware. It all works well and I didn't have to buy a new sink after all. Eric and Victor could not have been more customer-friendly and helpful. They were also delightful human beings which was a lovely surprise after one experience after another with a surly service provider. The water pipe to my home basically disintegrated after being underground for years. My neighbor called and said water was gushing out of the sidewalk in front of my home. After the line was shut down by the water company I was given the grim news the line was broken on my side. With a 6 month old kiddo and a house without water I was in a rush to get this handled. I sent out a request for plumbers and received several quotes. TPG wasn't the lowest quote but they were willing to work with me on price to get my business and promised me I'd have water by 2pm the next day. Eric and his team showed up as promised at 8am and by 2pm I had water. His crew even patched up my lawn the best they could and washed down the driveway. From the beginning Aaron has been very responsive over Yelp messages. We've worked with plenty of handymen, gardeners, electricians etc who've been terrible at responding to questions and just basically not being available. Aaron has been great at that. Thomas came over to our house to fix leaking toilets and a number of other issues. He was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciated that he wore booties over his shoes every time he entered the house. He was also very careful about where he put down his tools. These guys really know their stuff and stand behind their work. Once they've fixed the issue if something goes wrong they will come back to fix any issues you have free of charge for a whole year! I'd definitely recommend them Update: we had them come back for adding drain wells in our home. Thomas was great, talked us through the whole process and told us things about our home that we didn't know! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. read more

Aaron responded to my request for quote on yelp on Wednesday. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate for noon the very following day. He said he could do the repair the same day if we agree on the price. He was a no show at noon. I text him at 12:38 PM. He says he had nothing for noon and told me to double check. I told him to check Yelp messaging where he's confirmed noon appt. He then says the job was assigned to someone else (total BS) but he's running late. He himself shows up around 3PM with the other guy. He was friendly enough so I agreed to his price and expected him to do the repair but he says he has another job to go to. Scheduled repair for Sat., July 4th at 10AM. I text him at 10AM to confirm he's on his way. He says our appt is between 10-11 (it was not... he said 10 AM) but that he's running an hour late. I said noon'ish is fine. I had to text him throughout the day asking when he was going to show up. He kept responding he's almost done and will be over soon. I text him for the last time at 6:30 PM thanking him for wasting my entire day. He responds that he didn't think the job (another main break) would take so long. He said he didn't want to leave an elderly mom with 3 small children with no water. OMG... Not an elderly woman or a mom with 3 small children BUT an elderly mom with 3 small children. Guess he wanted to double up the BS!!! No apologies and no mention of if/when he would show up. Wasted the entire $@%$#% 4th of July waiting for him. Clearly this guy has ZERO respect for others' time, which means he has no respect for others, period. Go ahead and call him if you want to waste all day waiting for this complete flake! read more

Good work when they show up. They replaced my water main a year or so ago - which is why I called them again to hopefully do something that I frankly likely could have done (replace a toilet valve system) - I just didn't have the time to do it. Should have gone that route as I spent waaay more time at home waiting for them to show up or update me on expected times. After 8-10 reschedules I finally just cancelled on them. My advice would be: if calling them ask how busy they are. If they say they're somewhat busy, go elsewhere. If they reschedule on you 1 time, just cancel and get someone else. Last night we were suffering from roots invading our sewer main line (symptoms: bubbling in a downstairs toilet and water backing up in the adjacent shower). I tried calling the company that we have used in the past, but they could not get to it until the next day late morning or early afternoon and were unable to give a narrower time range than sometime in a 4 hour block. In calling various plumbers (none of whom could fix it last night), I got a recommendation from one plumber who was out of town. He said to call Arron Sanchez of The Plumbing Guys. He highly recommended him. I called Arron and he was also not able to handle it last night, but I called him back in the morning, and he said that he could get to it around 11:30. At that time I didn't agree thinking that my original plumber would be there around there anyway (maybe..... or maybe not...). At 10:24, Arron called me back and said that he and his crew could be there by 11am, if I was still interested. Still not hearing anything from the original plumber, I agreed (and of course, called the service for the original plumber and canceled). I was quoted a flat rate of $125 for the job. (Other plumbers I called quoted hourly rates or were vague). I like the firm predictable pricing. (It is more expensive than the other plumber I used last year, but it was without the uncertainty and lack of punctuality). Arron and his crew arrived right on time and completed the job in about 15 minutes. Arron correctly predicted what sort of roots we would find when the snake was extracted (thin spider-web like roots that allow for slow draining, but trap toilet paper and then block the line). I found him to be very knowledgeable. He discussed the tool that they use (I think it was called a whip-snake) and he discussed why cutter blades are not that effective. He provides a 30 day warranty on the clean-out. He said that if there is another backup in that time that they will return for no charge and fix it. We discussed other possible future options, which did not seem cost effective (installing a cleanout near the street that would then be the Town's responsibility to clear, but it was expensive and expensive permits, totaling about $3k). It is much more economical to have the roots cleaned periodically 9 to 12 months; it would take about 18 years to break-even on the Town cleanout. He was not trying to sell the expensive solution, just presenting it as an option. I liked his matter of fact presentation and his agreement that the expensive solution was not appropriate. I was impressed by the punctuality, quickness of performing the job, and the manner of Arron and his crew. I recommend them and will be calling on them again the next time the roots attack the pipe. read more

The technician they sent over came within the specified timeframe and provided an initial estimate to me. Unfortunately, I didn't go with TPG because they charged a higher price than the other estimate I got. They also didn't have the part readily on hand. I didn't want to make my tenant wait any longer to get the problem fixed. read more

If there is a zero mark, I will put a zero mark for these guys. The guy rang our door bell. My house is a 2 story and I was in the bathroom...so it took me at most about 10 seconds (we'll put this at 15 seconds) before I opened the door. About a few feet before I opened the door, he knocked, correction (banged) my door really, really loud. My wife was kind of startled. When I opened the door, I asked him why he needed to bang my door. He was so arrogant when he answered me and told me, he already rang the doorbell (his expression was not even apologetic - wide eyed and ready to fight). I told him it was just a few seconds and he already banged my door. He responded - "Well, do you want me to leave." I said - "Yes, and don't come back anymore."
