BUYER BEWARE... this company is HORRIBLE. Lucky came out to service our dryer. The dryer would not heat. He indicated that the problem was the control board and it is no longer being manufactured. Lucky indicated that "you may be able to find an aftermarket control board". A day later I get a call from the customer service lady that they have a quote for me. I am a bit perplexed at this point since Lucky indicated that the control board is no longer being manufactrued. They quoted $650+ to get the dryer fixed (a service call 129.50 to get retrieve the board, 400+ to get the board repaired, and another 129.50 to install the control board. This $650+ is on top of the initial service call for 129.50. Since Lucky indicated indicated that "you may be able to find an aftermarket control board", i did just that. I grabbed the control board off of Amazon for 119.99. When I took the top of the dryer off, some of the connectors to the existing control board were not plugged in. I just pushed that aside and installed the new control board. After putting everything back, I get an F22 code. Look up the code and order a new thermastor. I disassemble the front of the dryer where the thermastor is and the plugs on the thermastor are not plugged in! What I am gathering is that Lucky just goes in and starts unplugging stuff so you can't fix the machine on your own. LUCKY... put everything back like you found it.... unless this is your motive to squeeze more $$ out of customers. Machine is runing like a gem now.... no thanks to Lucky. My refrigerator and freezer weren't cooling properly. Lucky came out and put in a new fan. Got it going. Then I asked if he fixed microwaves, and he said he does. Mine happened to be not working. He then fixed my microwave too. He's so very nice and informative. I will definitely continue using him. I've recommended him to friends. read more

My Samsung dryer stopped working in early January. I called and got an appointment in 2 weeks. Ray, the owner's son, called me in the afternoon at his current stop to let me know that I was next. Ray showed up 40 minutes later and got to work promptly. He pulled out the dryer center piece and diagnosed it. While he got his tools and a replacement part from his truck, I removed 6.5 years of dust. Ray replaced the part and explained why the dryer stopped working. He then replaced the center piece and reconnected all the wires. The job took about 40 minutes. My dryer works properly now. While I wish that I didn't have to wait 2 weeks, I understand that I am not the only homeowner needing a repair. I will call AA repair service for any future washer or dryer issues. Rude customer service and they don't show up as scheduled. Would not recommend at all.

This vendor diagnosed our dishwasher issue: we needed a new door gasket. After having it replaced, the dishwasher will no longer complete a cycle. Google suggests that the door gasket is leaking or a faulty door latch mechanism. I suspect something was damaged during the gasket install. The tech (who was the owner) started the dishwasher and then left. We tried to explain that it would stop after 15 minutes but his reply was. "It's working now. If it happens again, call us." I am now waiting for a call back, but they refuse to book a follow up call until I speak to the tech. read more

I explained to her I was attempting to have an adult conversation with her, but I couldn't say anything due to her interrupting me everytime I tried to talk. The call ended with her hanging up on me. I contacted AA Dependable to have my dryer issue checked out. I had used them two years ago when they replaced my dryer belt. The tech was professional and got my dryer to work, however after he left and and after a 2nd load, my dryer stopped heating. I had asked the tech if he had checked the thermostat, heating element etc, and he said everything was fine. I was going to contact the company the next day since they have a 30 day guarantee for their service. Although after hours, I was able to get a repair company to come out and check the issue the same day. The tech found several issues that AA Dependable missed that could have potentially caused a fire. When I called the company to let them know what happened, they offered to send out a senior tech, but I have lost all trust in this company. Will NOT use them ever again-Customers BEWARE. read more

I have spent almost $500.00 on a Samsung refrigerator repair (actually my ice machine, which they replaced) with this company and they now have told me to call a plumber ???? The absolute worst. My washer went out mid June. AHS assigned my service to AA Dependable. The young man assigned has zero customer service. During his first visit he diagnosed four items that needed to be replaced. After receiving the parts and a four hour visit to my home he falsely claimed the job was complete. I began a cycle prior to him leaving my home to find: 1) that he has removed the stacking device from my washer and now my dryer was no longer secured and 2) I now have issues with the washer that were not there prior to the service call. The customer service is HORRIBLE. My dryer has been out almost a month. They had to order parts. During the wait, we rented a washer/dryer because for our large family it was cheaper. When the technician Fred came back out he said that they do not fix any washer/dryer if it's not plugged in, and because we took the hose off of the dryer (steam dryer) ... he was not fixing it because that's not what he came for. They came to fix my washer/dryer when he left it should have been in working condition. So my machine still is not working!! read more

Last week my dishwasher went out and when I explained that my house was just sold and I needed it fixed ASAP, they delivered. If you get Lucky, you get lucky! He's determined to identify and solve the problem and is knowledgeable about just about everything appliance related. They're my go-to and I highly recommend their work. If you have to wait sometimes, it's because they're so good that lots of us out here depend on them and they get busy! read more

When I first googled a company that repairs appliances, AA Dependable appeared. Upon the reviews, I was horrified and decided to call around instead but being that I was on a budget and needed somebody to come out that day none of the other companies were in my price range or available by a few weeks so, I took a chance, and I am glad that I did. My 1st experience with AA Dependable I was having problems with my 2 year old $2,000 Samsung washer. I couldn't wash my laundry without it sounding like a drive by in my mud room. I called them and explained the problem, they gave me a quote for them to come out and look at it, I agreed and we scheduled an appointment for the following Monday ( I called on a Friday)- fair enough. Monday came and the technician informed me about his time frame. He arrived was polite and funny, he went straight to the washer asked me what was the problem. After explaining to him the problem, he took it apart and got to work. He informed me that the knob on the barrel had broken and that they would have to order a new one. It would arrive within 2-3 days. Sure enough it did! they called me back and came back to fix the washer. I haven't had an issue with it since! The price was EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE! Did I mention that I didn't have all the money to pay for the part installation? Well, I didn't have all the money at the moment and they still replaced the part and allowed me to pay on Friday when I got paid! How convenient and thoughtful on their part. Being that I had such a great experience with my first appliance, I decided to call them again, this time for my refrigerator. My refrigerator is a 2 year old Kenmore, it stopped making Ice and stopped cooling. When I called to make the appointment, once more they were very prompt. The next day a man named Lucky came out to look at it. He explained the issue and told me what needed replacing. I payed for the part and he replaced it the same day. When he finished replacing the part , he walked me through what to expect and what not to expect. When he was done I asked him if he services dryers. He asked me what I had in mind and I walked him to my mud room and showed him my dryer and proceed to tell him about my ducts needing cleaning. Lucky went ahead and looked at my dryer, clean my ducts, fixed my lint trap that I thought was broken lol and then shortened my duct line because it was a fire hazard to have it too long -- all of it FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. he did an entire service and didn't charge me! He called me the next to check on the appliances as well as the following week. I personally Love this company and am saddened by the bad reviews. IF I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD. This by far was THE WORST customer service experience I have ever encountered. I was assigned a contractor from this company via American Home Shield after my dryer went out in early July. Apparently, they called me a few days later after I submitted by request to AHS to schedule a contractor to come out, but I missed it due to being out of the country for a few weeks. Upon my return, I called them to get a technician scheduled to come out. The day before the contractor was scheduled to come out he called to verify the timeframe. I let him know that I was fine with timeframe but had a hard stop afterwards. He assured me that he would be on time and that he completely understood my commitment after the appointment. Not only did the technician NOT show up during his timeframe, but he TEXTED me afterwards to tell me he would be stopping by my home during the time I already told him I would be unavailable. When I told him I would not be home, he never responded and I had to reach out to him the next day. After speaking to him the next day, he acted like it was no big deal that he missed his appointment time and told me that he'd sent my ticket back to the dispatcher to be reassigned. His excuse was that he got behind on another job. I then called AA Dependable dispatch to complain about the no call no show and was told that they wouldn't be able to get another technician out to me until the next week. I am six months pregnant and have had an inoperable dryer for about a month. I explained this to the dispatcher and asked if an exception could be made since the technician missed his appointment the day before at no fault of mine. The dispatcher had ZERO empathy/understanding and said that she literally had no one to send. Of course, at this point, I was frustrated, irritated and feeling ripped off, so I expressed my feelings towards her. She then went on to tell me that it didn't matter how I felt, that she would not deal with me cutting her off in the conversation, and that she would be sending my ticket back to American Home Shield so that I would have to start the process all over again. This unprofessional woman, who is supposed to be highly trained on customer service and deescalation ACTUALLY THREATENED to send my ticket back to AHS so that I would have to start over and wait another month to receive assistance. She then hung up the phone on me. I called back repeatedly to get her name so that I could file a formal complaint with AHS and AA Dependable leadership, but of course, the phone was unanswered. I will be filing a discrimination complaint with the BBB as well as telling anyone who will listen about my experience with this woman. No matter how irate I became about the process, I never once insulted this woman, the company, cursed, or even yelled at her. I paid money in advance for a service that was never rendered and in that moment, just wanted to be treated with compassion. Even if that meant her just fully listening to my situation. Instead, I was met with impatience, lack of empathy, and DISRESPECT. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. I will also be reaching out to whomever I need to reach out to relentlessly until something is done about how this woman handled me as a paying customer. The customer is always right, especially when the company dropped the ball. She never once apologized for the mishap or showed any kind of understanding. My clothes dryer stopped working on Sunday. I called AA Dependable Service on Monday morning and the technician (Lucky) was here Wednesday morning. Not only did he troubleshoot and identify the issue - which was a bad fuse in my electric panel - he returned to my home to replace the fuse that I went and purchased at Lowe's. I went to Lowe's, he went to another job and then he came back here and installed the fuse and ensured my dryer worked. That's exceptional customer service!! Lucky was professional, prompt, courteous and obviously an excellent repairman. The price was well worth the service and I couldn't be happier. This Business if you can call if that... was SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I was assigned to them through American Home Sheild Warranty company. My initial call was in March 2020. They came out and diagnosed two problems however only fixed one.. leaving my tenants to believe that a part was needed. 3 weeks passed and they didn't return. I called the warranty company back for a recall. They came out again with no explanation for what happened before. They half fixed the item because it's broken again. I called the warranty company and this SORRY EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS scheduled a WEEK OUT. In opinion, this should have been ESCALATED ai mean it's been 5 months with the same problem.. it's JUNE. Apparently the owner woke up with a broom stick up her bottom. She called ranting and complaining about MY COMPLAINT. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. They advertise same day or next day service. However, when we lost our refrigerator they would not come out until the following week. We lost EVERYTHING in our fridge! They also stated that they were not an LG authorized dealer which was fine since they were the only one we could find to come out. However, when they did finally come out they are not only not an LG authorized repair facility but they REFUSE to deal with any manufacturer for parts!!! Our fridge was under warranty but they refuse to allow LG to send them the parts. Guess they weren't going to profit on the parts so it isn't worth their time. read more

I have a microwave which they came out to my home three times and still my microwave is still not repaired. They do not provide quality customer service. I had requested that the owner give me a call so I can express my concerns. The employee confirmed that he gave the owner my message which the owner still had not returned my call and almost a month later my repairs till have not been resolved. After all that I have been through with this company, finally when the necessary part came in, they told the home warranty company that they will send some out the same day if they received the part in the morning. Well the part came in around 10:30am in the morning and then they told me that they had to put me on the schedule. No frig since 17 Nov 2017, home warranty claim. Could not come out until after Thanksgiving, then had to order parts. In Jan 2018 they finally came back, threw the parts into the frig & called it 'Good'. A few weeks later the unit failed dumping water unto the hardwood floor & all contents were lost. After more visits parts had to be ordered again in April. We have gone through Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day & 4th of July without a refrigerator. They have ordered part after part after part. Yesterday after another 4 month wait for parts the technician replaced most everything in the refrigerator. At 6:45PM "Your good to go!" and hurriedly left. Upon examining the 'repair' the freezer indicated 69°/frig 19° - actual temps were 79° for both. Now 10 hours later both indicate the set temps -4°/34° yet the temp inside both are still 79°. This refrigerator is 5 years old and AA has no clue on how to repair it. We now have to go back through home warranty to try and get someone out from AA in a week or two, at which time they will advise they will need to order parts. Do Not Use This Company. read more

They did a good job of scheduling my appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Repairman came during window identified. Seemingly diagnosed the problem. Said he would research the parts and submit his report that night to the warranty company and we should both receive a report in 48-72 hours. That time came and passed. Called warranty company and they said report was never filed. They called AA for the report and were told there was no report to give. Even if somehow warranty company is lying, AA never called to check to see why the return appointment has not been scheduled. Makes no sense... don't they want their money? read more
