Most recently Cass and Nathan were here to install a wireless rain detection device. While on site, they adjusted spray head coverage as we requested, and installed a special back-flow valve to prevent a downhill spray head from draining the uphill line into unwanted puddles. Their response for an appointment, their reasonable price, and communication were different than the other 7-8 companies I've dealt with in the past. Miguel showed up and did a walk-through, asked a few questions, and went to work. He put the system through a test run, we walked each zone to discuss my concerns and issues; and then he came up with a plan to make the irrigation system more effective and reliable. Miguel was very professional, efficient, organized, and very knowledgeable. In addition, the tech we reached in the truck on the phone heading to my house on the wrong day did not seem to know why they were going to my house. (Aqua Bright didn't apologize about the wrong date when shown the original email with the original date--sent by them!--instead repeatedly calling it a "miscommunication," and claiming that they had sent updates using the incorrect date and so I guess expected me to pivot to the wrong date. I guess the idea is that by compounding their error it was my job to notice their. Instead of making it right, they offered a new date in almost 3 weeks, when I am out of town for work and at a time that is far too late for my new plants to survive. And this mess of an appointment was a reschedule from an earlier appointment, when the tech (who is himself a competent and kind technician) also didn't know what he was being sent for, so it was a total waste of a visit, made especially frustrating AFTER having spent a week or so finding a date when the landscape service and the irrigation tech could both be on site at the same time.

I reached out to them directly and asked if they could come back and COMPLETE the job they were asked/paid to do by my HOA and I was rudely disregarded. Not only did they fail to correct the issue they never even bothered to call me back. The snow/ice stayed on the sidewalk for OVER a month until it eventually melted on its own. Artistic does the landscaping in my development, and it always looks great. Last summer I had them prune the bushes and spread mulch in front. When I got home, they had mulched my side garden as well, although that was not in their proposal. They actually sent me 3 proposals this year: for the pruning & mulch only, for a spring clean up, to improve drainage by extending the downpipes. I knew I needed to extend the drain pipes, but I will do that myself. I opted for the spring clean up: prune the bushes, remove weeds, spread mulch, spray around my patio (those weeds keep coming back) and it looks fabulous (see photo).
