(Could've taken better pictures lol.) AA Poké is another place that I just like a lot. Like Kim Vũ, it's always a safe bet for when you just want to have good food without thinking about it too much. Nothing about it is particularly *special*, perhaps, but it's always on the back of my mind when trying out other poké places. Maybe it's the Fort Wayne prices that I was getting used to. Maybe it's the firm, flavorful fish, the soft, delectable shumai, or the combination of just-sweet-enough tamago, fresh avocado, crunchy masago and wakame (seaweed) salad on the steaming rice bowl. They also have a killer unagidon and one of the best beef bowls (gyudon) that can be found anywhere in America, not just in a poké or casual place. While AA Poké's not gonna make any publications or win any awards, there's just a lot to like about it. It's very simple and straightforward, which reminds me of... Japan. TL;DR Try it. It doesn't need many words to prop it up. One paragraph is all that's needed to say. P.S. Don't get the QQ here lol it's powdered. (QQ is the Taiwanese term for boba / bubble tea btw.)

Awesome poke place with lots of variety and great flavor. I got the rice bowl, with spicy salmon and shrimp which loaded to the top. Fresh flavor! You have tons of add ons to chose from to make your own rice bowl or sushi burrito. Everything's well priced, polite staff

Fresh! Flavorful!! I really enjoyed the Chipotle of rice bowls and sushi!!! The shop is small, has very little seating and really isn't set up for a 1 hour dining experience. However, it was clean and relaxed. The staff was incredibly helpful with a menu of choices that takes some learning. They were very friendly as well. I had the beef bowl and Boston sushi. The beef bowl had lots of fresh great flavors. The beef and onions were tender. The crab-radish salad is an art...very good! The fresh mango, cucumbers, edamame and tomatoes were delicious!! The sushi was okay. It was fresh and tasty. Not a super quality.

Imagine Subway, but with sushi ingredients, and also a million times better. AA Poke is great, fast, and has lots of options for everyone. I've had it in house, carry out, and delivery and the food has always been up to par. You can get a poke bowl, salad, or make a sushi burrito! They also offer pretty decent bubble teas!

We were hosting a special guest visiting from China, so we really wanted the evening to be perfect, and Copper Spoon delivered on every front. The food and drinks were outstanding across the board. We started with fresh oysters and delicious house breads, and our main courses--specifically the ribeyes and the salmon--were cooked to absolute perfection. As great as the food was, the absolute highlight of our evening was our waitress, Kate. She went exceptionally above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing short of wonderful. Her attentive service, warm hospitality, and professionalism truly elevated the entire night for our group. If you're looking for an unforgettable meal with top-tier service in Fort Wayne, go to Copper Spoon and ask to sit in Kate's section. Highly recommended!

My husband ordered a burger. He really enjoyed his, & I enjoyed the martini-- I'm not vegan, so the fact that I didn't enjoy the dish was a personal issue, not on the restaurant. It was beautiful & had depth of flavor, it just wasn't to my liking. I wish there had been a few more options on the menu for food. Overall, the ambience was lovely & the restaurant is beautiful inside. Would return for another dining experience... I just know to avoid this dish on my second try!

The lunch bento box is straight up hits: a California roll, shrimp tempura, vegetable tempura, rice and your choice of teriyaki'd protein (chicken, salmon, beef, shrimp or basa, a type of catfish). I chose salmon, which was cooked perfectly. The salmon was placed on top of the rice, so the rice kind of soaked up the teriyaki sauce and made it nice and delicious. My bento lunch came with a cup of miso soup, and it was so nourishing and briny, like only miso soup can be. So yeah. I didn't taste any of the sushi here at Umi, unless you count a California roll, which I don't. But they have lots of different types of rolls, nigiri and hand rolls. Umi also has a large menu of sake. So large, that I thought I would be remiss to not get sake to go with my lunch. The menu made me do it! So I got the chiku bai Nigori sake, and it was so smooth. Sake is served in a small pitcher with a small ceramic cup. I wasn't sure if the sake pitcher was supposed to be shared, but there was only one cup, and there was only one me, so I went for it. A sake buzz during lunch ... how extravagant. I visited for a late lunch, around 1:30 p.m., and I was the only person in the whole place. I got the full attention of the very nice server, who had 20 pens in her apron ("For when it gets busy and it's only me," she said, because I asked her why she has 20 pens in her apron.) The restaurant is tastefully decorated on the inside.

I was told they have 1 team that all works Wed-Sun (closed Mon and Tues). The bartender was really nice and honest about advice on the menu. I had questions about the sashimi salad and appreciated his opinion on it. When I asked how the crab rangoons were, I could tell he genuinely thought they were a good item to order - and they did not disappoint! The picture only shows 4 rangoons because I already ate 3, so the fact it comes with 7 is a great deal. I also ordered the chirashi since I love sashimi, and I was told I was given a few extra pieces. 2 salmon, 2 tuna, 3 yellowtail, 2 scallop, 2 unagi, 2 octopus (or squid?), 2 imitation crab, some salmon roe, and 2 lobster tail chunks; seasoned sushi rice on the bottom. This was a very filling meal. It's a dimly lit restaurant with a calm ambiance. I saved this place to come back to when I'm in the area again for work.

I told them it was my first time here, and they helped me through the whole process. Poke Bowl with Grilled Eel - $12.95 + $3 for Extra Salmon - It's a good portion, everything was fresh, the salmon was good, and the grilled eel was divine. I've never seen eel in a poke bowl, and I just had to do it. Went with the brown rice, and it was great, especially with whatever soy sauce adjacent sauce they put on it (they recommend some sauce on the rice when you first build the bowl, and obviously go with what the pros recommend). 5/5 stars. Taro Milk Tea - $5.95 + $0.75 for boba - Well made drink. The taro was flavorful. The boba was cooked well, warm, and delicious. Iced just enough to keep it cold but not too much to where I felt like I only paid for ice. 5/5 stars. Go here, this place is fantastic! Tasteful decor, albeit the bar, patio (seasonal, of course), or main dining area. Choice of booth or table seating. Can be a bit noisy, when tables of patrons forget they're not the only guests in the room, but not to the level that drowns out your own table conversation. Service is usually impeccable and Kiersten (our server the past 2 visits) exemplifies that: knowledgeable, attentive but not intrusive, kind, efficient, pleasant. Hubby had the not-your-ordinary wedge salad as a starter (pictured). Bacon, tomato, bleu cheese crumbles, hard boiled egg, and a creamy balsamic dressing. Very tasty! Me, always a sucker for good French onion soup (pictured), which I always order with no bread or croutons. Broth has authentic rich flavor with just the right amount of simmered onions. The only thing that might have made it even better would have been the use of Gruyere (or Swiss, instead of what seemed to be mozzarella) for the cheesy melt topping the delicious soup. Our chosen entrees tonight were the cashew crusted Mahi Mahi (pictured) served with orzo and fresh green beans, and the seared tuna (pictured) served on an umami blend of Napa cabbage and broccoli lightly dressed in sesame ginger, just-right heat, and peanuts. SO good! Oh...and you can see by the pics that the portions are well presented and generous enough to have some for lunch the next day! Truly a local fav! Great place for lunch or dinner!

The food came out piping fresh and the waiter who grabbed the food for me was super friendly. That's a huge plus. The food was OK. The pizza is not your traditional deep dish a lot of dough to it very messy to eat in the car. The pizza was very average. The salad was fresh. Can't mess that up unless you really try. The dessert was just the right size. I can't imagine eating the full size cookie with so much sugar. The vanilla bean ice cream on top is amazing. Overall, I would say the pizza being average I may not come back for that, but they do have other things on the menu and I may have to try those in the future.
