A family member of mine is in the process of downsizing so he was in need of shredding 30+ years of financials. Since I don't live in the area and wasn't familiar with local vendors, I leaned on Yelp for my search and I'm so thankful we discovered AAADocuShred. They not only provide a very helpful service....they are complete professionals. I spoke to Scott when I called and he was patient with all the questions I had regarding their services. What we found to be most helpful was that they come to you and do all the shredding in front of you. We piled all the documents in the garage and scheduled a next day pick up. He was very flexible and even allowed for a change in time after we discovered it overlapped with another appointment. I know it stretched his schedule but we appreciated that very much. For 10 boxes (equal to 1 load), the charge was $119 and for each additional load, it was $50. We had two loads so it was $169. My Uncle was thrilled we found AAADocushred and I looked like a hero for disposing of all this paper safely and in a timely manner. It was a huge relief to us all. I had a one time job I needed to do while in Phoenix, I am not from there and really didn't know anyone. I did a search on yelp and find this company and a few others. This company actually got back to me instantly and was a reasonable quote. They showed up on time and did exactly as we discuss. However, the price was LESS than the quote. I guess I was shocked because in Vegas they charge a lot and never ever ever are on budget nor do they follow any quotes! I guess I was slightly shocked. The security from start to finish was really secure and I guess I never expected it all to be secure! They wore gloves and I did get a certificate for my records. I used a credit card and all I did was tap it on the device. It was so so so different than I expected! And I literally did not have to work all day trying to accomplish this goal. Just cleaned out 30 years of personal bills/papers in filing cabinet last week. I googled "best document shredding companies" and three popped up from Yelp. I sent a request for a quote to all three and Shawn from AAA DocuShred responded within 5 minutes with a solid quote. A second company responded in 20 minutes with a price and the third did not respond until the next day asking for my email, phone number, address and how many boxes I had (the number of boxes was in my request) before giving a quote.
