If I could give this agency negative stars, I would. Our organization was assisting an elderly homeless woman with the cost of repairing her windshield. The client selected this repair shop, and I contacted the owner, Chris, to request a W9 so we could process payment properly through our accountants. From the very first interaction, Chris was rude and unprofessional. After the client scheduled her appointment, I assured Chris that once the repairs were completed, I would personally deliver the check. On the day of the repair, while I was still finalizing the payment process, Chris screamed at both me and the elderly client, giving us "two minutes" to provide a check or he would remove the new windshield. He cursed at us, threatened her, and created a hostile, unsafe environment. His aggressive behavior even caused this elderly woman's blood pressure to rise, putting her health at risk. It was also clear that Chris was profiling the client because she was Black and homeless. His comments and behavior were racist, degrading, and discriminatory. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially someone already in a vulnerable situation. When I arrived at the park where he had completed the repair, he was gone. I called him to let him know I was there with the check, and he insisted I drive 45 minutes to his shop to drop it in a mail slot. This experience was completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and disturbing. We will never refer clients, staff, friends, or family to this disgusting repair shop. read more

Called to get a quote and spoke with Chris who is the owner and operator of AAA Glass. He gave me a quote which was on par with other quotes I received but he is mobile so he was able to come to my house. Scheduled me first thing in the morning the next day. Chris was friendly and I could tell that he knew what he was doing. I mean, if you've been in business since '98 and still going strong, that's saying something. Be careful - they wrecked our car while doing a calibration drive. Over $25k of damage and they were hard to deal with to get car repaired. Didn't want repair place to replace headlight that had lost seal and did not replace wheel that was scarred saying I could not prove damage was not pre-existing. We had to push them to do what was right - and they laughed when we asked about diminished value claim. I noticed a rock chip in my windshield a couple of weeks ago and finally got around to fixing it today. Here's how I ended up at AAA Glass and dealing with Chris... So I called a few places on Yelp and most places said it would be around $60 for them to come to me and fix it. Not bad, but my friend said try Safelite. I called them and they wanted $120!!! Yeah, right! I'm pretty bad at scheduling things as my work schedule changes constantly, so on the way back from La Jolla to North Park, I saw AAA Glass was just a minute or two off the 805. It was hard to find the place, as it's a tiny little building behind American Tire, but there I found Chris cleaning his truck. Apparently I was lucky because he is usually out on the job doing mobile fixes. From what I understood, his prices are fairly in line with his competition at $50-$60. Rock chip repair seems like a pretty easy job for these guys, so you can't go wrong with any of the 4.5* or 5* places on Yelp. Chris gave me a great price since he didn't have to come to me, and I paid him in cash as he didn't want the credit card fees. Understandable, and I luckily had enough to cover it. He had me in and out in about 15 minutes, and part of that time was just me chatting with him about his background in the business since he was such a friendly guy to chat with. I told him I'd write him a 5* review as soon as a I got home as he was quick, friendly, and had a good price. My windshield developed a huge crack from a small nick that had progressively gotten bigger and bigger. I figured it was time to finally get it fixed and started calling around and looking online for quotes. Although not the best website I came across, they definitely had the best prices! Instead of $250+ which is what every other company was quoting me, they replaced my entire windshield for only $170. I requested the mobile service and someone was able to come out that same day. I even got a call from the repair person himself letting me know he could come 90 minutes earlier than the quoted time which totally worked out for me. My windshield caught a rock on the highway and chipped out a nickel-sized divot. I drove it like that for a couple months before it webbed out and needed replacing. I searched for a service that would come to my place of work to fix/swap out the windshield. After doing my research, I gave Chris a call around 10am and he said he had my car's windshield in stock and was able to schedule an appointment with me for 2pm that day! When he arrived, I walked him out to the car. He said I should have called him after the initial chip and he could have patched it up without needing a replacement. (and also that it would have been a really cheap fix) I rolled down the front windows and headed back into work. About one hour later, he called to tell me I was all set. The new shield was in and looking great! He walked me through the steps I had to take to ensure the glue hardened without any leaks and that I'd be back to 100% in 24 hours. When my front windshield broke, i called about 7 different places to get quotes and this place is guaranteed to be the cheapest glass repair in San Diego! Instead of paying hundreds of dollars, i paid only $200 for the glass and installation for my 1997 BMW 528i. They are also mobile, meaning they can come to you at any location! I've also gotten my mothers front windshield replaced as well. It was only $159 for front windshield glass and installation for her 2005 Lexus RX330. The only thing i did not like was that after they replaced my glass, they left all the broken pieces of rubber mouldings all over the inside of the car and on the floor mats. Although it simply needs a vacuuming, they could have presented the car in a cleaner condition. Its been a year now and the glass still looks new. Great quality overall! read more
