I am a fan of changing a strenuous situation into an easy one. That is the reason that I am a fan of this AAA branch. Inside the Pebble Marketplace AAA is a DMV kiosk that serves as a fast pass around the zoo that is the DMV. Twice I have circumvented the aggregation of a dreaded DMV visit by using this branch to renew my vehicle registration. With the exception of a couple of people in front of me, the process was easy. Standing at the DMV machine was an AAA agent that walked the customers through the abbreviated procedure. Last year, when I renewed the registration on my former vehicle, the kiosk delayed the process until I had the smog test. No sweat! Nearby there is a Terrible's Chevron at the southwest corner of Pecos and Wigwam that performs smog tests. It is a hop and a skip from this AAA branch. I am a fan of AAA. Too bad I cannot say the same about the Department of Motor Vehicles. How dare you not have a grace period and be so quick to charge a hard worker with a $40 fee for a two day late vehicle registration. If this review was quick to read, I have some good news. Renewing your vehicle registration at this AAA DMV kiosk ought to be just as quick. read more

Excellent AAA OFFICE, I only had less than 15 mins to get my international driver license. I won't have time tomorrow to go get it. Terry was as excellent customer service. He got it done so quick as be a member of AAA. I didn't have to go get my picture taken anywhere else which save me so much time and trips. It's only cost me $20 for all. I don't have auto or home insurance with AAA, but do have the road side membership. So I do get some of the perks as a insured customer. As a member, can always get maps when asked. I only come to this location for the dmv kiosk. Which is really convenient, can renewal my car registration within 15 mins. The staff always greet you and are really helpful. read more

I recently have A3 Smart Home Security System installed. We are so disappointed for the fact that the sales rep sold us a basic system with door camera monitor and gave us faulty information that monthly service was $24.99 for member. However, we found our sales agreement showed $34.99 instead. Right away, we went back to AAA office talking to him that we needed something to show $24.99 including several attempts of emails, calling customer service. AAA supervisor called us back and said camera is part of advanced system that monthly service is supposed to be $34.99 without wanting to hear us but insisted we sent camera back in order to keeping monthly service to be $24.99, despite their sales mistake. In general with other companies, whenever customers were given wrong price/information, they would honor that price, but not AAA the whole team pushed back the loss to customers, never asked for their employees accountability, trustworthy, and integrity of how they treat their customers. if there's a negative point/star to be rated, AAA will get -100 points, -5 stars the way they treated honest customers :( :( :( read more

AAA (Triple A) is a great company that has been helping drivers and travelers for decades. Their roadside assistance service is inexpensive, top notch, and has gotten me out of more than a few jams during my times behind the wheel when things didn't always go the way I expected them to. The fact that their individual branches have installed DMV kiosks to simplify the process of car registration. Unfortunately, the guy that "assisted" us when I went in to register my car was the biggest asshole in the world. I went in with my mother to do the registration, we said what we were there to do, and that we knew what to do. Despite this, the guy (he was a bigger, older guy with a stereotypical East Coast accent) stood over us, watching our every move, bitching about every little thing. He bitched at me for not scanning the barcode right, for trying to put the wrong card in the machine.... you get the idea. Triple A is a "service" company dedicated to helping people. This guy was just a piece of shit who wanted to feel like a big shot by making other people feel stupid. As a life-long sufferer of Asperger's Syndrome, social situations and dealing with people are twice as hard for me than so-called "normal" people. Jerks like this are a big part of the reason why I am the way I am today, having trouble dealing with people at places. If anyone at the AAA company is reading this, I unfortunately do not have the guy's name, but if he's still there, I would appreciate it if he was fired. Still, I don't want one bad experience to tarnish the AAA name. This is a great company that does great things, and goes the extra mile to help motorists and travels in need, and with basic services. But if this guy is still working at the GVP location, go the extra mile to a different location for your needs. read more

After a nice meal at Wendy's, stopped in here for maps and tour books for the camping trip. I was practically greeted like a celebrity. I had my card out but they didn't ask to see it. One lady was the professional greeter. Another woman sat behind the counter. I gave my request to the greeter and she relayed it to the other woman even though she was sitting right there. I would rather have just dealt with the woman behind the counter. She didn't have much to say (or she couldn't get a word in). I don't have the temperament to deal with someone as talkative as the greeter, pleasant as she was. Travel plans are exciting, however, so I don't blame her for getting worked up. Customer service in store is great! Great personalities who seem like they love their job and really want to help customers. I bought my membership and then decided to cancel the next day. The guy gave me no problems canceling and said 7-10 business days it'll be back on ur card. 10 business days pass & nothing, so I call customer service. Apparently the guy who took my refund didn't specify if I wanted it back on the card or check, hence, the "long delay". (stupid excuse) Waited 3 more business days and called again due to receiving my membership card in the mail (don't know y? bc It should be cancelled). I got a different excuse this time saying the refund was never even processed and that she magically approved it to become a refund & to check 3-5 business days for it to be on my card. Of course they blamed it on the local office, therefore, easy to sign up - idiots to cancel. read more

In complete disbelief at the interaction I had with this office today. My husband has been pushing me to cancel my membership for years - thinks it's a waste of money. Today he was proven correct. I phoned to gather some routine information on travel - (something I have done numerous times in the past and always received pleasant customer support). The unidentified gentleman on the other end told me I'd have to "make an appointment." I began to laugh. He did not have any idea what my question was therefore had no idea whether or not my issue would even require a visit. Seriously, what if my question was not even a AAA concern? This gentleman would have wasted a good deal of my time. When I told him I would be calling Costco travel his response was, "Have a good day." AAA travel service was horrible. We waited a week and a half for an appointment with Ronna. We had an appointment at 930 and arrived at 920. We were greeted at the door by a women and told her we were here for an appointment and she had us take a seat. She then told Ronna her 930 appointment was here. 17 minutes later we got up and left. Ronna didn't even acknowledge us just kept typing away on her computer. Would have been okay if she said, "I will be right with you" but that didn't even happen. We have been AAA members for 40 years and we do not plan to renew our membership based on the "no service" I received today on the phone. We were just looking for some guidance with respect to registering our vehicles and applying for NV driver's licenses. Grace was of no value. Nina is our expert travel agent. We booked our cruise through a different agent in town. When she found out that we didn't get help with anything other than booking our cruise, she jumped right in and assisted us with everything we needed. She handled safe transportation for us will we are in a foreign country and got everything printed that we need for paperwork. I feel safe to know that once we get to where we are going that we will be well prepared. I am recommending Nina to all of my family and friends! You're better off booking your vacation yourself. We talked to Nina Brogna at this office and she wasn't very helpful (read useless). Everything was fine dealing with her in person but, afterwards is another story...we emailed her to book our flights round trip and a week later never got a response. After 2 follow ups she said she was "too busy" to book our flights. WHICH IS ESSENTIALLY HER JOB. So, by the time we booked the flight of course the price went up. She offered to book for us because we had reserved airfare through the cruise line initially so, she had to book other/cheaper airfare first to remove the cruise line reservation. Also, My friend tried to make her final payment (due 7/10) by emailing/calling 2 weeks in advance and got no response. So, she ended up having to call a general AAA phone number to have someone else place her final payment on 7/10 because our agent couldn't be bothered to get her payment in on time! Ridiculous. I've had a few trips booked through AAA and this was the worst experience. Other agents my family worked with collected all passport info, filled out all forms with the cruise line, etc. but, apparently this agent is getting commission for basically doing nothing. read more

This was my first time using a travel agent and it won't be my last. When you're planning a wedding, it's nice to be able to count on someone else to plan your honeymoon. Ronna was great! Very helpful and patient, and most importantly, the communication was outstanding. Every part of our trip was detailed, planned and documented and it made things much easier. Let me start by saying that Myself and my family have been members of AAA since as long as I can remember in Los Angeles and the branch in LA has never been anything but extremely helpful and attentive. This is why the treatment I have received from this particular branch is so infuriating and outrageous I cannot fathom how these people still have jobs. I have waited for 3 days to have any kind of roadside service and each day for a minimum of 5 hours in 105 degree heat. I ask what I have done as a loyal paying customer to deserve such egregious treatment. I would not trust this department as far as I could throw them. When I explained to their supervisor Ron that I had been waiting for 3 hours in the heat outside he told me to wait in the lobby. To which I replied it was a resort and I had already checked out and was not allowed in the lobby. Please help me understand why you're horrible time estimations and terrible customer service is MY fault because I'm not in the lobby?! Absolutely ridiculous. I will be filing formal complaints with both AAA headquarters and whoever else I can to remedy what I would call a malignant tumor on the AAA company. read more
