Mike was extremely helpful and pleasant. Expedited a late registration renewal + title transfer that likely would've wasted hours of my time at the DMV, if not days. The wait time was only a few minutes, even waiting for a specific employee to become available. Save yourself the headache and go on a weekday. Weekends anywhere are gonna be rough. Based on the reviews it seems like a lot of people fail to follow basic instructions or bring required documents and then blame AAA for their own inability to pay attention. The AAA people wade through so much stupid nonsense all day - give them a freakin break, man. Don't be dumb and unreasonable and they will get you where you need to go. Alright AAA I have been a member for at least 10 years, with that said I've been to plenty of locations. This was my second attempt at this location and once again was treated with rude customer service. First encounter, I went in asking for travel service. I wanted some input and the lady asked me exactly what I was interested in. I said most likely a cruise, she said well then look online. We have the same prices as carnival. I said well what deals does AAA offer? And she said well idk we have no brochures, no pamphlets, look at the that table, only Hawaii has a promotion. What exactly is it you want? To save money? And I said well of course, what packages do you have...she said idk what to tell you. So I walked out. Second attempt, I went in to renew my tags, I forgot my AAA card, so they searched me by number. First the lady said you're not a member, you need to renew. I said that's not possible, my renewal is in June. She said, well can you give me another number. I said no that's the only number I use. I asked can you please try searching again...She rolled her eyes, searched..and said your account popped up. Idk why it said non meme er, but maybe you should remember to bring your card. I said thank you for your time but I can go else where to continue this. Thank you. I will not be returning to this location. read more

On 06.19.2021 on or around 5:15 PM while traveling to a graduation celebration for our oldest and only living son on the I-10 FWY E/B we have a tire blow out. I pulled our vehicle over to the shoulder of the FWY and called AAA Club for roadside service. At this time, I was told by dispatch that there should be a flatbed tow truck at my location by 6:30 PM. No problem, I will only miss the first hour of our son's celebration, was my thought. I called a friend to come and pick up my wife, so that she would not miss any of the celebration for our oldest and only living son, that started at 6 PM. I waited until 6:30 PM, then called dispatch back because I was still waiting on a tow truck, and no one had come nor had anyone contacted me by phone. When I called the 800-phone number, an auto response instructed me to press zero to speak with a representative because it was noted that I already had a call in for service. I followed the prompt and was on hold for about an hour and NO ONE ever came on the phone call to assist me or update me, so I ended the phone call. With growing frustration, because I was stuck on the side of the freeway and my only living son was being celebrated and I was missing the celebration of his hard work and dedication to his education. I called my wife and asked her to step outside the celebration and call AAA Club from her cell phone, because when I called, I was unsuccessful in reaching a representative. My wife called AAA Club and spoke to a representative around 7:30 PM. During her phone call she was told by dispatch that AAA Club did not have any updates for her, other than they were unsuccessful at this getting a tow truck out at this time, but AAA Club was still working on it. The representative assured my wife that someone would be in touch with me via my cell phone shortly to give me an update. My wife confirmed that AAA Club had an accurate phone number to reach me on my cell phone as I was still in my car alongside the I-10 freeway. At or around 8:00 PM I still had not received a phone call from anyone at AAA Club nor from a tow company. My wife called AAA Club again and connected me threw on a three-way call. On this phone call I was told that AAA Club was still working to get a tow truck to assist me. I requested to have my call upgraded to a supervisor. After being on hold for almost an hourmy wife spoke with Jason a supervisor who explained to my wife that AAA Club still did not have a tow truck available to assist me but reassured my wife that AAA Club would keep trying. Jason then confirmed to my wife, that if we found a tow truck on our own AAA Club would refund the money, but we would have to come out of our pocket to receive service. I started my search for a tow truck from my cell phone. This should have been the responsibility of AAA Club, as this is what I pay them to do, but they were failing me once again. Meanwhile the CHP had come by several times to ensure my safety as I was parked on the side of the I-10 FWY for over (3) three hours at that time. After many hours, the CHP offered to contact a tow company for me around 10:30 PM. I was told by the CHP, that a tow truck would be at my location in 20 minutes. This was accurate, because after the CHP requested a tow for me, a tow truck showed up within 20 minutes. This is how I was able to get my vehicle towed to my home. I was towed home and had to pay $285.00 CASHto the tow company. I question how was it that (1) phone call from CHP is all it took to receive tow service within 20 minutes, yet AAA Club was unsuccessful for many hours. Around 11:30 PM I received a call from AAA Club to let me know that AAA Club still had not located a tow truck to assist me. "What a joke" In utter disappointment, I explained to the AAA Club representative that I was home but only by the help of CHP, NOT AAA Club. May I remind you I missed the graduation celebration of our oldest & only living son. Because I was stuck on the shoulder of the I-10 FWY for 5 1/2 hours, with little to no contact from AAA Club. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of service that I have received from AAA Club in my times of emergency. This was not the first time AAA Club had let me & my family down in an emergency. (7) seven years ago, I was traveling with my family from Northern CA to Southern CA. We were returning from a very emotional time in the hospital, where our 21-year-old son; the youngest of only (2) children had just passed away due to a fatal car accident. In which a drunk driver killed our son. As we traveled home to receive his lifeless body in preparation to burry our son the youngest of only (2) children, we ran over an orange cone that was in the middle of the freeway. The cone punctured our water heater in our RV, and we waited on the side of the freeway for assistance from AAA Club. On that occasion, we had to wait from 8 PM until the next day over (12) twelve hours before we received assistance.... read more

I've always had great experiences with AAA however their roadway service is really declining. This is my second bad experience just trying to have a tire changed. Today's experience was horrific. After waiting 20 minutes for first guy he decides not only does he not have the right equipment to change a tire but then he decides my other tire doesn't look good n says his friend will come and pick up car on a lift and take it to his other friend who fixes tires. Friday Night 1/15/2021, saw this car #24 flying up behind me on Mountain Ave. Around the 210 fwy in Upland at 7:00 PM. Licence plate # 6AYH936 WOW, the guy was doing about 70 MPH coming behind me so I moved over to not get plowed. I pulled up behind him at the light and realized it was a AAA car. I took a pic of the car hoping he gets disciplined before he kills someone on the road. I observed him as he would slow way down letting the car ahead of him gain some ground then gun it to high speeds once again. What kind of fool goes around putting lived into danger playing games while driving a car that belongs to your insurance? My money is probably going to maintain these vehicles so that fools can play games with our funds? Pretty bad, this guy needs to be taught a lesson before he kills someone. read more

If your out to renew your DMV vehicle registration or picking up vanity plates don't waste your time dropping in at the La Verne office because the "wait time" is over an hour. According to representative/Nancy. She said it's because on the weekend they are purposely under staffed and only have 3-representatives working this desk. This is most definitely a management issue and should be addressed so as to reduce this ridiculous wait time. I came here the other day because I needed to get my passport photos taken. I had attempted to get them done at the local post office but the person in charge of that service was at lunch. I only had to wait for 5 minutes for a staff person to come out and take my photo. He was very kind, helpful, and speedy. I was in and out of that office in 10 minutes tops. read more

I came in to pay for my car registration, and when I arrived I received a very warm greeting. When I told her what I came there to do she directed me to a line that was forming. It seemed like that day was the day everyone came in to pay for their tags. I stood and waited patiently, and when it was my turn the lady processed my paperwork quickly. She asked me if there was anything else I needed before I left. I told her no that was all for me, and she told me to have a great day. Everyone there was great and very helpful. It got pretty busy and the staff handled the rush in a calm and professional manner. If I lived closer to the La Verne area I would definitely visit this place again. read more

Went to AAA since I was told they notarize. I went in and was greeted right away. I waited for about 30 minutes and asked them when I was going to be called. She said I was next. The process itself was relatively quick. Wish it was faster since I had a child with me. FRAUDS!!! I'm not surprised by the low Yelp ratings and reviews. Someone, I believe was a temporary fill-in from another branch, charged my debit $300 for "insurance." I have no idea where they got that amount from. I called them instantly, and they said they would refund me. 3 weeks later, no refund! I contacted them again, and no one knew anything. They transferred me to his branch and asked for his supervisor, they knew nothing. So I check my Credit Karma today and there's a delinquent account for that. I'm done. I'm going straight to the BBB. Great greeting and check in at the La Verne AAA and also good help on membership upgrade but it seems like one woman that handles the DMV transactions developed her people skills from that tired old group of state employees that used to make a trip to the DMV offices such a lousy experience. This one of the reasons I got my AAA membership .... DMV services , but with a friendly and amicable person assisting me. A couple of months ago we added our travel trailer to our auto policy with AAA. Stopped by the La Verne branch for inspection and pictures. Last week we got a letter informing us that we needed to bring the trailer in for inspection and pictures, so we called to find out what happened. They told us to bring the trailer back in or call the La Verne brach to find out why the pictures were not entered into the system. We have called the La Verne branch multiple times, but get transferred to the Glendora branch, and are told to just keep trying to call the La Verne branch. With no option to leave a message or request a call back. We've been trying for 3 days to get a hold of the right branch, with no help from anyone we have been able to get a hold of. Seriously considering moving our 5 policies with them elsewhere. read more

I worked with Dani here today. She just had a horrible attitude. She looked like she hated life as well as her job. She didn't even seem very courteous to the senior citizens she called before me. We tried to call before going and were on hold for 15 minutes, so we went in only wanted to know the prices of universal studios tickets through triple A and were asked to have a seat, as we sitting there watched the girl at the front every time the phone rang pick it up with out saying anything place on hold to listen to the recording I assume. I had tried online and on the phone to transfer the title of my father's car after he passed away last December. I live in Phoenix so I was told on the phone after being on hold for 3 hours that I had to go to the DMV in person. I drove by one office and saw the line wound around the building. I then drove to AAA and the young lady that helped me was fantastic. After submitting the documents I downloaded and filled in she had everything done in about 20 minutes. I've been an AAA member for decades. And this review is for their battery service and their batteries. DO NOT USE THEM. The batteries are horrible and have failed on me multiple times. Recently AAA had the audacity to not replace the battery because somehow their system doesn't show when it was installed. Seems pretty convenient. AAA great for roadside tows horrible batteries. My mechanic and the towing employees see a lot of failed AAA batteries - failures within a year of purchase. read more

I myself was attended perfectly and I wouldn't like to say it was because of my appearance.. but sadly when the girl behind me was next who offered a completely different appearance then mine, she received HORRIBLE attitude from this front desk lady.. while I was being called "honey" and "sweetie" the young lady behind me was being pressured to hurry up and figure out her own solution for the help she went in to seek.. the worker was making her feel uncomfortable because she couldn't find the right words to explain what she needed help in.. I only singed up for AAA for the benefits of the DMV. Twice I went in for two different reasons and twice was given a hard time. The staff act like they really hate people and work. My car started hesitating North bound 57 Freeway, I costed off on Covina in San Dimas, I called AAA and within minutes the tow truck showed up, the driver (Yno Cuevas) immediately got out of his truck to make sure I was ok. He made sure I was safe and in his tow truck while he got my vehicle onto his flatbed. When he finished he proceeded to drive me and my vehicle to my mechanic and the entire ride he talked to me because I'm sure he realized I was so depressed over this new financial burden in my life. By the time we arrived to my mechanic I was so thankful Yno Cuevas was sent to my rescue, this gentleman deserves 100 stars for his professionalism, thoughtfulness, concern and amazing intuition towards a very sad strangers. Today is my worst AAA Visit. I cant see how anyone can be invisible, but after seeing the 4 people behind me be helped first, wow they seem to not see hispanic people. Even the manager seems clueless to the employees that seem to think its okay to blatantly discriminate or for better words pick and choose who they do want to see or help. I pointed out everyone to the manager and employees who did not want to acknowledge me in line and i got a sterile approach. I guess over 4 decades of membership dont mean much these days. I went there yesterday to renew my car registration. They had me wait about a half hour to forty minutes, behind people who were planning vacations and conducting other business. (And this was only about 4 other people). Gotta remember to never come here again. At the other AAA, there's a line for car registrations and you just wait in that line; the people doing other stuff have other lines. Everything moves along much faster, even though the other AAA has 20X the customers in there at any given time. Very poorly managed. read more

I have been a AAA member over 20 years ... I almost dropped membership seven months ago because of the Sky Rocking Prices. After a negative review the problem was resolved I pay $7200 on the year of 6 vehicles. Range Rover, Mercedes ,Camaro, Cadillac , Nissan maximum , and a general motors cavalier. Some Spanish person ran into the passenger side and of my vehicle & AAA .... has made me wait a month & several days because they are refusing to pay the deductible..... they are not sure after a month if the person had insurance ; The accident was not my fault nor has there been any accident claims this year. My insurance payment is always on time .... I feel cheated & used .... I pay over $700 monthly & AAA doesn't care about valued customers. It's cool to send a card telling me you value me , but when it comes time to show me you drop the ball. I am not happy with how they have managed my case.
