My family and I have been a AAA members for 24 years. One of the best parts of AAA is that when I need a new car battery, I call them and they're there in 45 minutes. If I need a new windshield, same thing. If I want to fly to Mexico or Bali, they got my back with great discounts and they recommend only the greatest places to go to. I was with AAA, for 2 years had no issues! Bought a new vehicle on 2-12-21. Called to Change my policy on 2-13-21. Spoke with an agent an started to write the new policy. She told me my payment was going to be under a 100$ a month fast forward 4 weeks later. Never got anything from the underwriter, never got my Edocuments to sign, and when my insurance card came in the paperwork said my payment was $179.34. After multiple calls and emails to the agent, agents supervisor, supervisors supervisor! Voicemails left an everything. NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE! So I shopped around an called a few other places! I have been an AAA member for several years now because I own an old sports car... I'd used AAA towing assistance happily several times, but never visited an office till recently when I went along with a friend who needed to obtain an international driver's license. Since I was there I asked the agent about a Triptik for an upcoming vacation out West. Wow. I had no idea what I'd been missing. Remember stories about travel agents? Those people who could help you plan a good trip in the days before the Internet took over? Well, they're now at AAA and really pleasant and helpful. I even got the feeling they were glad to see us, because they certainly went the extra mile to help out. Maps, travel plans, recommendations... and knowledgeable recommendations at that. PITIFUL! HORRIBLY MANAGED! I had to cancel my Visa, call the Lewisville Police, file a Fraud Report with the Texas Department of Insurance, and send about 30 emails to get the $1340 they charged me for ANOTHER CUSTOMERS PREMIUM! They NEVER admitted they were wrong, only try to justify their actions by saying I had signed a form allowing them to debit my Card. The appeal process is set up to email the Manager's Supervisor who NEVER answered ANY of my emails and only called me once (with no follow-up I might add) after I filed fraud with T.D.I. Don't waste your time and hard-earned money with this unethical, inept business. No Integrity Here. P.S. Good luck getting them to answer the phone if you need them, they automatically put you on hold, then the message asks you to continue waiting 3 more times before connecting you to a voicemail. (I left a message on June 25'th....still waiting for a call back) I had to take off of work to go to their office to actually talk to the Manager Daniel Turk, whose best comment was "I empathize with you". Nathan Smith is beyond amazing. Updating my policies was one of the last things on my list for my upcoming move; like most people I thought I knew exactly what I needed. Everything I asked for Nathan obliged me with no issue. When I came to the realization that something other than what I asked for was needed, again Nathan handled it and gave me exactly what I asked for. In so far as an existing auto ins policy is concerned you are going to get "all I know is" and "I don't have access to that info" to answer your question. The person answering the phone can be argumentative and tends to avoid a direct answer to a direct question. In fact, instead of answering the question clearly stated, the answer is unrelated info. I spoke with the people at the number on my aaa card and was told the local offices don't use the same system, have complete access to policy info and told me to call them instead. read more

I had a very bad experience there a fault that had to be repaired within 6 hours was extended to 2 days and that also with a price tag of almost 200 dollars more then originally quoted , the follow up visit since the car had developed a rattling sound was entertained after extreme rude behavior , unfortunately the rattling problem continue to exist but the second time I went to the workshop to discuss them the problem still is there , the manager started shouting at me even before listening to my complaint , I wonder what will be the behavior if one wants to go back and claim against the warrantee they provide , I will highly recommend don't fall prey to there originally quoted less price because you will end up paying more and more likely will have couple of more problems added to the original read more
