When adding my daughter to our policy as a newly licensed driver, she also had some questions regarding her portion of fees, and was told she'd get a call back with the breakdown. Nope! They requested documents from me that were not relevant to my policy, like info on my son who they enrolled in the safe driver program that I had declined. Repeatedly asked for a copy of my oldest daughter's policy, though she lives out of state and has had her own insurance for 5 years. I cooperatively sent a picture of her insurance card. They insisted on the declarations page. Not happening. When I asked why they needed it, they said they didn't know; corporate was insisting. I asked for a contact at "corporate" but unsurprisingly, never got it. A week or 2 later, I got a letter saying they were dropping me for not providing necessary paperwork. I beat them to it, thankfully, and secured a different and less costly policy. In the meantime, when my policy was up for renewal, they actually sent me a bill! Completely absurd, incompetent, disorganized. Two stars for a few people in the office who were nice and put some effort into it. I don't know one man's name, and Bob Seaborough, who I initially contacted, were both helpful. I don't think Bob is there anymore.

They have called my home phone, don't respond when I pick the phone, and then when I asked them why they are calling my house and not leaving a message, I was accused of having an attitude. It is not a privacy violation to leave your name, phone number and nature of call. I would not use them to if they were the last insurance company on earth. What type of company, who is trying to get your business, does not leave a message, and then, tries to defend their actions. Go elsewhere. If they are that stupid to not leave a message on my answering machine, I would not trust them to handle my insurance matters.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I was referred to Rick Ali through…read morefamily friends and he has been the worse insurance agent I've ever worked with! I was to receive a check from Allstate Insurance to go towards damages done to by car. I never received the check as it was stolen. Rick was an absentee agent who was never willing to collaborate or help me out. But he was always present when time came to pay my premium every 6 months. I spoke with Rick today and expressed my concerns. "I have been without a vehicle for over one week." He said he cannot issue another check. I said Rick "I'm paying you $1,200 for 6 months of insurance for what? I expect you to be my Liaison between the claims & fraud department and when I see Allstate I see you as the forefront of the organization. You are my agent and I think of you when I think of Allstate. I expect you to take the initiative and communicate with me in a timely manner through this difficult situation." (I mean if I wanted to pay out of pocket for damages done to my car then why do I have car insurance?) Rick then went on to RAISE HIS VOICE AT ME AND YELLED AT ME (a paying customer in need of assistance). He said, and I quote "YOU DONT PAY ME NOTHING! YOU PAY ALLSTATE, I DON'T HAVE TO DO ANHTHING FOR YOU!" He then hung up on me! I have filed a full complaint about this agent and his unprofessional behavior with his paying customers. Not only is he inexperienced but has no respect for his clients! Please do yourself a favor and do not go to Rick Ali for your Insurance! I work at a multinational corporation here in Texas with thousands of young professionals and I'm telling all of them about my negative experience with Rick Ali, how he has tainted the name of Allstate Insurance and I am switching to a competitor at the end of my current pay period.
