We aren't new to RV'ing but this was the first time we had ever experienced an electrical issue like this and I had already admitted how stupid I felt. While others laughed, David jumps right in and says "here is what I think it is..." He's **fast** to respond to questions and just so kind in a world where people laugh when you ask questions on social media. He never said "you can pay me and I'll answer you..." NO, he answered every.single.question I had. Even 2 weeks later, he's still answering questions without expecting anything in return. They assessed the AC and needed to order a new one, repaired the underside belly pan and would repair other items when AC came in. Took several weeks for the AC to arrive, then they repaired all items, replaced the AC and resealed the roof after alerting me of the need. Couldn't be more pleased, they repaired everything at a reasonable price and did the work correctly the first time. I have now found my go to RV repair shop.

I will stay here when rooms are booked at McMenamins and since I have a trailer, why not. I personally like this place. It's clean, it's quiet, and the people are so kind (employees and residents). I love watching the people walking by with their dogs. I feel like it's a doggy parade. I do appreciate that everyone follows the leash rule and keeps their doggies on leash when walking them. It just makes it safe for other dogs. We have stayed on the creek side only but I may venture to the river side next time. One the creek side it is quiet. I know the river side is closer to the I-84 so I am curious how much louder it will be. I guess I may find out this summer. I definitely recommend staying here when you have something going on at Edgefield or honestly, just stay here just because it's a great place.
