never showed up. Took my deposit. Kept me waiting by lying about him coming. Treated me like crap. i could have had someone else come. Never gave me an option . Kept telling me he was coming. Until I had to hound him hard. Hello are you coming. Finally a response. His van broke down. i have to have my financial institution now deal with him to get money back. I have had four of my family members die in a five month period of time. I've had to serve someone with a recent restraining order and was worried that this person was going to seek revenge by hassing me with a police officer. This person is violent and a narcissist. Thomas was there giving me an estimate and taking my deposit when I saw a police officer drive by and devuldged to him that I am not looking to be hassled by a police officer that passed by by chance. It had nothing to do with me. But now since I have to complain about this and his unethical work Practices he is trying to say a cop was trying to arrest me. Which is not the case. He is an egotistical unethical non professional. He does not have the right to keep me waiting as if I am not keeping my life on hold because his truck broke down. I even said I have triple a. I have a truck. He intentionally led me on for four days believing he was coMing. He changed his story like I didn't here what he originally told me. Now is trying to embarrass me because I was not looking to deal with this police officer I saw drive by because I just had to served a restraining order on my abusive husband who threatened me. The police officer was not looking for me. I was scared from an abusive soon to be ex husband's threats. I am a 57 year old woman who has been in upstanding corporate occupations that do not allow criminals to be employed with them. Just wow. Not a nice guy. I understand everyone has their issues and it is not all about me. My experience with Thomas Brown "A Certified RV Technician" was a negative one. I can PROVE he took $560 from me for "parts" to replace my camper converter. On the same visit, JULY 1, 2021, he got $625 from my guest whose RV converter was also damaged by electrical surges from the house current due to an accident on Hall St, Sherwood , when a paving truck struck the overhead power line to the house. We have bank records and we are attempting to sue Brown. His supposed address , 18680 So. Castle Dr., Beaverton, is "unknown " to the USPO for the purpose of sending certified mail notice of intent to sue. Brown has blocked my phone calls and as of 9/7/21 he has failed to contact us or given any indication he intends to perform the work or return the money. These statements are factual and I can PROVE IT. As of 9/18 my guest has had contact with Brown who claims he has been ill and will come to do "work" soon. Too late for my problem. I got it fixed by Curtis Trailers. Brown owes me $560. As of 10/4/21 Brown has again failed to keep his promises. He is a total "NO SHOW since July 1, the day he took over $1100.00 from me and my guest, supposedly for "parts." This should be a crime and I should not have to sue. Instead, Brown should go to jail for theft. . My furnace went out during the night. I called that morning and he said he could get me in same day ( totally surprised me ). He said it would be around 4pm before he could get here, so at 3:30pm I texted him and asked if the time frame was still good . He said that it would be closer to 4:30 and he would call me when he was on his way. He called and it ended up being a little later which I was fine with, great communication. He arrived fixed the furnace and answered a few other questions I had. Very personable, professional and reasonable priced. I will use him for more work when the need arises and would highly recommend him. My neighbor had recommended him if I ever needed any work done on my RV, said he was good. This man really STUCK IT TO ME . Told me I needed a carburetor for my generator . Fine $380 ,$145 to diagnose ,$145 labor Did not fix the problem .(he didn't even test it before he left .) $670 . I called he said it must be the fuel pump . You buy it I'll install it FREE . OK $90 for the pump .I'll be out this afternoon .NO SHOW .Next day "I live across the highway I'll be there soon NO SHOW. I gave him plenty of time no pressure , being nice trying to understand Why is he doing this ? this went on for 2 or 3 months Him lying and putting me off . At Leased 10 - 12 times . Thomas Brown, The Certified RV Technician, is a whiz at keeping your RV on the road. Tom started working on my 2013 Montana High Country 5th wheel In 2014. He had been fixing and maintaining my 2015 since I bought it. He just put a new low profile TV antenna on it and now I get 60 digital channels. There is nothing that he hasn't encountered before. When Tom says he'll take care of it, consider it done. he recently washed, resealed and re-caulked the roof. He's installed new black tank valve, small solar panel to keep batteries topped off. Thomas has repaired our trailers for 3 or4 years. He's mobile, which has saved us several times while camping. He's very quick to respond and will make suggestions over the phone if he can't get to you immediately. Each time we've needed him, he's arrived on site within 24 hours. He's incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. We had an issue for 2 years that three other individuals/businesses couldn't solve. Problem with your RV? Tom is the man to call. My motorized steps bit the dust, so I called Tom. The whole step assembly had literally destroyed itself. I had a repair/service contract which Tom worked with directly. He ordered the new step assembly and within a week my new steps were in and working just great. No problems, no hassles, and he is very prompt. I'm retired from the service business. It takes an excellent troubleshooter and fixer to succeed. Tom excels at both of these. He had come to our state park camp site to fix a water leak from a pinched hose, a refrigerator that did not cool properly and he has come to our home to winterize our trailer.
